Business Travel - any suggesions?

I have business travel and will be gone for 1/2 a day on Thursday, all day Friday and Saturday, and leaving on Saturday about 5'ish to drive home. I want to take all of my food with me and do my very best to avoid eating off plan at all. I am planning to take all of my food with me and microwave it in the hotel. I will take all of my veggies cut up - I basically am only eating cucumbers (raw), cabbage (boiled), and tomatoes (raw and cooked). I figure I can take an electric skillet with me and cook my meals in my room right? Just ask for a refrigerator for my room? I could even stick to just shrimp (already cooked) and chicken that I cook at home with veggies and take some hcg chili with me so that I have something hot. I also make a "chicken noodle soup" with cabbage and chicken and a little chicken broth so I could pre-make that and take it.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions to make this easier? I will NOT go off plan and even plan to take my lunches with me to the seminar so that I don't have to eat what they have. Any ideas that you have will be helpful.

I have taken canned chicken, canned asparagus and spinach apples and oranges. None of those have to be refrigerated and if you dont eat them they keep. If you have a miro all the better.

I mainly eat Strawberries and grapefruit but I can definitely take a small cooler with me - they always have ice makers in hotels.

Sounds like you have a great plan!! Definitely call and see if they can provide a microwave, otherwise the electric skillet is a brilliant idea!!

I love it! A woman with a plan to succeed!

I take a skillet or a wok with me when I go somewhere I have to cook too - the wok being deeper means you could even make a soup.

Ok - made my hotel reservation last night and guess what...I have a mini kitchen...just no stovetop. I will take either my electric skillet or my steamer with me. I could make fish and asparagus in my steamer for one meal and take some premade soups with me for lunches that I can just warm up at my event (like the hcg chili and my new spicy shrimp soup). This is gonna be a piece of cake. Thanks for all of the suggestions and ideas!
