Restarting hcg after messing up

Hi,
I managed to lose a stone on the first round of 6 wks - some stressful stuff happened and I ended up eating some stuff that I shouldn't and anyway - OK I lost a stone which was good but when I look at what some people lose I realised that I could have easily achieved a loss of about 20lbs minimum.

I stopped taking the drops 2 weeks ago and although I have stayed within 2lbs of the loss I would like to really go for it and do another round of 3-4 weeks and really go for it now that there is nothing to get in my way.

I was thinking of starting again in a week - so this weekend coming up have my 2 days load and start the drops and really go for it. I feel psychologically in a better place right now and it seems right butI am concerned about taking the drops again so soon after the last round.

ANyone else done this and had success - does it really matter if it is only just over 3 weeks since I stopped them when I start again????

Look forward to your help.

Viollet

It seems that those that wait at least 6 weeks between rounds do much better losing in repeat rounds and in stabilizing their weight. Just an observation. You can do whatever you choose.

Viollet -- opinions will differ dramatically on this one. If you decide to go back to p2 now, realize you are doing a somewhat rogue plan.

I went back to p2 after 2 weeks on p3 (so I guess, technically, you could call that an interruption of the first round) -- I didn't load, just went back on the drops and started again.

My whole first week after resuming the drops was a stall, but after that, the losses have been steady and much to my liking. We'll see what happens when I go to stabilize.

This seems to vary individually -- some do well with cycling, others don't -- don't know if that helps, but I am glad I did it, personally. Hoping I don't end up eating my words later on....

I do know all about the frustration in waiting. Really I do. I had many rounds in front of me when I started. Of course I foolishly thought if I lost 30+ rounds each time then I'd only need 3 rounds. I've done 4 so far, and they are not all equal in terms of how they go for you or pounds and inches lost. How many more rounds do you think it would take to make it to goal?

Viollet - I'm too chicken to do anything except follow protocol, at least for my first round. Good luck, whatever you decide!

Btw, Mini, that's one HELL of a loss you got for yourself today! Whoohoo!

Thx, Shelby -- yeah, that was a shock! I think it was a TOM whoosh... TOM is actually still here (mine run long), but I think I peed about 600 times yesterday. In any case, I'll take it. Just hoping it sticks, and wasn't a fluke.

Hi guys - something else into the equation now - on Monday early 3am awake with VERY bad pains under right ribs - feeling queesy. Spoke with doctor who told me that I might have gallstones!! Going for a scan this next week and have pain killers. Really peed off as never had anything like that before but reading up could be because of diet and losing weight fast and then introducing some fat too soon - grrrrr!!

Anyone else had any gall bladder probs since dieting/hcg etc??
Thanks

Viollet, just responded to your other post on this subject. There might be a natural way to handle it - can you see a naturopathic doc? Hope you feel better soon.

I messed up too

I did the loading then found out my sister had to go to japan for three months. So I spent a week by her home helping prepare presentations and stuff. I ONLY DID THE FIRST 3 DAYS. That was almost 2 weeks ago. I use the drops. Can I start back now?

This is my second round. Lost 25 lbs in the first 35 days then lost 14 in the weeks after coming off the HCG. that was almost 2 years ago. I gained back 5lbs. I Still need to lose a total of 50lbs.

Just want to know if using it those three days will mess me up if I start again this week...

If it were ME back....I would start from scratch and not even count what you did 2 weeks ago. Unless you have done something else! This thread is 2 years old. Love looking at the old folks that no longer hang out here.
