What a nice time with my family! Some times are better than others. Tonight was really lovely. I *****ed about having to tackle another interruption in my hhcg plans, but I am so wrong to complain. It's a blessing to get together and enjoy each other, and we never know how much time we have on this earth.

I looked so nice this evening in what I wore that I took pics! I put on makeup and I was amazed at how good I look at 180 lbs! I am really seeing the "old" (younger) Cheryl when I look in the mirror lately. It's got to be the hhcg, because I was this weight last July 31 and I did not look this good!

I'll post my pic in my avi if I can get it loaded. I took it on my Blackberry, so it won't be high-quality. Bet you all wanna see what I look like, huh! Drum roll, please...

Awww! That's so sweet of you to say. You made my eyes twinkle! I haven't wanted to be seen in a very, very long time. Now I am "coming out!" (You know what I mean.)

Only up 0.4 lbs from the dinner party. I am getting the hang of this weight loss thang! I am going to begin doing Isometric exercises, perhaps today. I used to do them and I know they help to firm and tone. I need that and will be needing it more and more as I get smaller. I hate the type of exercise that makes you sweaty and breathless. That has its place, but I'd prefer to do that later on, and do something that is fun, such as biking or rollerblading. Hiking, too!

So, that's the battle plan. I hear it's been snowing in CO, but it's the most perfect, textbook Spring here in CT. Helps to make up for that wretched winter we had!

Have a splendid and blessed day, everyone!

Back from the funeral now and kicking back. I'm worn out! Went to the funeral home and stayed there for about an hour, then drove in the funeral procession to the cemetary. Stayed there for another half hour or so and and viewed the stones of the rest of their family members; one being a childhood friend who drowned when he was 11 and I was 12. Then we drove to a Country Club (which just happened to be directly across the street from a home I used to rent on a lake).

I wasn't going to eat anything and just drink coffee, but in my heart it didn't feel right. I feel it is right to "partake" of whatever you have been offered and whatever is being shared when you are with family and friends. For me, considering I am alone 90% of the time, this works. It gives me great peace and it seems to be working in my weight loss plan. So, I ate what was offered and I enjoyed the company of people whom I love and whom were gracious enough to include me.

But FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, if I am invited to attend another dinner, picnic, festival, yada, yada, yada (between now and Memorial Day,) the answer is NO THANK YOU! I am going to grind it out and get to 175 if it KILLS me, so I can end this P2 and maintain in the 170's on my first P3. I am going to do it! I know it in my heart.

So very pooped now and need to rest. I invited about 10 more people to our Memorial Day Picnic! Don't know how many of them will show up, but we all go way back, to our earliest childhood memories. If they come, it will be just like a great, big family reunion. Plus, they could use something pleasant to attend after losing someone so dear to them.

Hey, girl! Glad you came over! Yes... "No thank you!" will be coming out of our mouths with the sweetest smiles, knowing in our hearts how gorgeous we are getting as we pass up all that junk.

I am up a few after yesterdays funeral day off. But now there are no more roadblocks in my way. (I'm praying that is the case.) Unless it's another funeral, I'm going to politely bow out from attending. (That's why I'm praying to God there are no more events!)

I have set a date in stone; drawn a line in the sand, so to speak. I am going to end P2 on May 31's and June 1 and 2 will be my two VLCD off pellets. Then June 3 will be my first day of P3. That gives me two and a half weeks to get to 175 in time for maintanance. I believe I will get there.

I vow to reach the 170's by the end of this week (May 21). I'm doin' it! Watch me, ladies! I am so determined. I love the sense of power that comes from hhcg! It's like your ace in the hole. Your secret weapon! That little edge you have that nobody else knows about. (I know, I'm getting carried away here, but I'm having fun with it.)

Rainy days here in CT. Looks like a really wet week ahead. But maybe that will work out well for our picnic on the 30th. The skies will be all rung out and dry by then!

Have a peaceful and blessed day!

Thanks, Fluffi! Glad to see you "over here"! Hope you stick around. I'm starting to get spread too thin over too many threads. I'm going to have to cut back a bit so I can keep up.

Morning, Dessa! I just posted over on your ginormously long journal thread. Soon you will have to start a new one. Maybe you should mark the occasion of beginning your next round of hhcg with a new thread! We'll all follow you over there, so no worries about losing any of us. It's a new chapter in your life, so why not make a new thread!

Well, after yesterdays fast of just coffee, water, sugarless gum and one late-night apple, I'm down to just above one lb from my ticker. That will be gone soon, too. Then it's bye-bye 80's! For GOOD this time, too! Thank you Lord for my lovely little pellets. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Have a great day today, ladies!

Hugs to you,

Yes, I will greatly appreciate the P3 phase, but it will be a bummer going so many weeks just trying to stay the same weight. I will have to really focus on why I'm in that phase, and be sending lots of positive vibes to my Hypothalamus.

I am down the rest of the water weight and also down 0.4 lbs of fat! So I'm teetering on the edge of the 170's now! I will be very careful and remember that this round is coming to a close very soon. No room for error!

I'm going to complete this P2 round on June 2 (I am going to go off plan on Memorial Day, which is May 30th, for a big family picnic.) So, I fast on the 31st and then do the pellets and VLCD for 2 more days after that picnic, to get solidly back to my lowest before I start to maintain. So the 3rd and 4th will be VLCD off pellets, then it will be P3 all the way (with a little bit of P4, maybe for the 4th week.) Then I will "reload" on the 4th of July holiday weekend and start R2P2 right after.

I'll be in P2 all through July and then have to go off plan for a refeed on my birthday (Aug 1st.) I'll probably keep trucking on P2 until around the middle of August, when there is a family camping thing going on. I won't likely be camping, but I'll go for a few days and spend time there. We shall see how that pans out. Too far away to tell right now. But I won't want to be trying to do P2 during all that. P3 would be okay, though. That might just end up being an "Interruption", come to think of it, because my goal is to reach 140 by September 28 and the only way I can see doing that is if I keep on going in August.

So, that's the plan! Subject to change, but that's the best I can see for the moment. I'm so PSYCHED! For a brief moment as I was weighing today, the scale was trying to decide "where to land." It was flickering back and forth between 179 and 180. I'm so close now!

Have a very blessed day today, ladies. Thanks for reading and being with me!

Second night in a row of waking up around 3 am and not getting back to sleep. Can't weigh until I get caught up on those zz's. So, hold off on that drum roll for the next 6 hours or so and I'll be back with the results, if there are any.

Great, Marie! Best of luck to you! Be sure to read Pounds and Inches (free pdf online to download) and check out all the great threads here in the hcg forum! Tons of reading to do and it can seem very overwhelming, but use the "advanced search" feature on LCF and you'll find answers to many of your questions as you go along.

Thanks for the compliment!

I'm truckin', Babe! I'm truckin'. I am getting so ready for P3, though! I think I'm just about done. It will be a joyous day when I can have my favorite 3-egg scramble with cheese and sauteed onions and HWC, with a side of bacon. Cream in my coffee??? I'm almost afraid to go back to that, knowing how much coffee I consume in a day now. (2 pots!) That would be a tremendous amount of cream (and DaVinci's syrup.)

Oh, to dream. It won't be long now! But I really want to make it to June, so I can do a refeed on Memorial Day, then go back to strict P2 to get that holiday poundage off before I go off the pellets and slide on into P3. I can do it! I can do it! (Chanting.)

Goodnight, ladies! See you all tomorrow. I hear the torrential rain is supposed to finish up overnight tonight. Sunshine in our future! *Sigh*

Thank you, Dessa! I'd down another 0.4 today. Hhcg is a miracle! I love my pellets. I'm so glad that I chose those from the beginning.

On Atkins, whenever I went off-plan for even one meal, I'd be set back for about an entire week. But with hhcg, I can do an off-plan day for special occasions that come up, and (combined with a fasting day to help balance out the day I'm eating freely) I'm able to get right back to my previous weight and soon after, move right past that.

I can do this for the rest of my life! And I really feel like this is training me to keep it off, too. Weighing everyday and doing a correction day when you go over 2 lbs is the perfect way to maintain (Not there yet, but that's what you do in P3/4.)

The rain is STILL HERE. A few more days of this terrible weather pattern. Wake me up when it's over!

Have an excellent day, everyone!

This not sleeping thing is getting so old. Shelby (if you are still out there,) I still haven't done that diurnal cortisol test. I am afraid I'm going to do it wrong! I need to research it some more before I "take the spit" and just do it. I want it to tell me something of value and help me to get on a better pattern of sleeping.

So, being up at 0200, I caved to boredom. I made some Dreamfield's elbow macaroni and put some spaghetti sauce and grated parm on it. It was not great. Dog ate most of it today. She didn't complain, but she's easy to please.

Then I spent about 2 hours on the phone with one of my sisters today, so it got to be 4pm and I hadn't eaten anything other than coffee, so I have decided to just do a fasting day today. That solves that!

Peace to all today and this weekend! Hope all is well with you.
