Last night I chopped up fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme and parsley) and added minced garlic, salt, pepper, 2-3 tbs. lemon juice and a little lemon rind and rubbed it on chicken strips and let them sit for about an hour. I then grilled them and they were pretty good.

P2-Omaha Plan- Linda Sue inspired Beefy Mushroom Soup
*Omaha Plan allows winter squash-Pumpkin is a winter squash
*Omaha Plan allows mushroom, though they are higher in calories P2 Beefy Mushroom Soup 1st Trial 100g 96% lean ground beef 6 button mushrooms, chopped 1 teaspoon beef broth powder ( or however much to make 1 cup of broth) 1 cup water 1/2 cup canned Pumpkin Puree ( ingredients:Pumpkin only) 1/2 t each garlic salt, onion powder, black pepper (optional: since you may mix veggies, you could use real garlic and chopped onion if you like, and more mushrooms, but add the calories to the recipe totals) in a sauce pan brown beef and mushrooms with beef broth powder, garlic salt, onion powder and black pepper. When beef is cooked, add Pumpkin and stir till blended. Add cup of water and stir, till blended. Let simmer on medium for 5 mins till color turns from orange to brown. Taste( Oww! Don't burn your mouth!! ) and adjust seasonings****** 197 Calories 5.1g Fat 12g Carbs 4.2g Fiber 26.4g protein Without the cream and the wine of the original recipe, it is a different beast, but still a tasty soup. A nice warming meal for cool winter months. ( or for raiding the fridge of leftovers in the middle of the summer for something to eat)

Creamy Basil Butter Sauce
I make a very tasty sauce tonight! I took a tub of Cottage Cheese (45 cals per 1/4 cup, enough for a topping/sauce), added a tad of chicken broth and whipped it until creamy in my food processor. I then added dried basil, about 2 tsps, and Butter Buds - if you are strict protocol, then use imitation butter flavor (I used both) and a dash of salt - whip again until incorporated.
I added this to a bit of chicken breast sauteed in chicken broth, and tossed them into some Shiritaki noodles. You could substitute Kelp noodles (I heard someone mention them), or you could make some zucchini noodles. The sauce is excellent over the chicken alone, makes it creamy and moist. I combined the cottage cheese and the chicken for my protein portion. I also thought that you could add it to some diced or cubed zucchini or cauliflower and have a baked "scalloped" veggie dish! I'm going to try that tomorrow night.

How about WW Zero Point Garden Veg soup?
You know the one: garlic, onions, carrots, cabbage, zucchini and string beans in chix broth w/a little tomato sauce for color.
I got Cape Cod sesame/teriyaki f/f dressing and used it as a marinade for chicken, which I grilled on the George Foreman grill. I make at least 4 servings at a time. I LOVE having my food ready, so I can just reach in and grab it out of the fridge. |

Rogue P2 Crab Cakes
I just made these and they turned out pretty good so I thought I'd share. The crab I used was a 12oz package of chunk style imitation crab which I crumbled with my fingers. I ate these with some raw tomato wedges sprinkled with salt and pepper. Even my roommate enjoyed his portion, yet he thought they were a touch too spicy, and I have lunch ready-made for tomorrow with the extra portion.
![]() Rogue P2 Crab Cakes Makes 3 servings • 12oz crab meat, shredded/crumbled • 3 melba toasts, finely ground • 3 tbsp parsley, fresh chopped • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped • 1 lemon • 1 egg • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 tsp paprika • 1/2 tsp white pepper • 1/2 tsp dry mustard • 1/4 tsp dill • 1/4 tsp coriander • 1/4 tsp celery salt • 1/4 tsp cayenne (1/8 for less heat) Grind melba toast into powder (coffee grinder works great) and set aside. In bowl, combine juice from 1/2 the lemon, the crab meat and the remaining ingredients. Add 2/3 the melba toast power and mix well, then form into patties. (Makes 9 palm size patties.) Sprinkle one side of patties with melba powder. Place powdered side down on non-stick griddle coated with a small amount of Pam. Sprinkle remaining powder onto top sides and brown over MED heat for 4-5 minutes each side. Plate and serve with remaining lemon wedges and veggie of choice. |

Yes it does, it's polluck and starch to hold it together. You could splurge a bit and get real crab, or canned crab meat.

Chicken apple cucumber salad
I don't know how rogue this is because I'm not following Simeon's, but it's in the recipe book for my program and it's really, really good.
4 oz cucumber, peeled & chopped 4 oz apple, chopped 4 oz cooked chicken breast, chopped 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar .5 tbsp water garlic salt pepper stevia Mix the cucumber, apple, apple cider vinegar, and water. Season with garlic salt, pepper, and stevia to taste. Add the chopped chicken and mix well. Eat immediately. I made this right after baking the chicken breast, so the chicken was still hot when I added it to the salad and it warmed the whole salad. I think that really helped the flavors blend. I'll be eating this a lot - it's really delicious!

Stoplight Cottage Cheese Salad
Stop Light Cottage Cheese Salad
a red, yellow and green confetti salad of savory cottage cheese 1 cup cottage cheese 40 grams each diced cucumber, pitted yellow tomato, red bell pepper - or any three fruits with green, yellow and red 1t dried or fresh parsley 1/2 t garlic powder dried sweet red pepper (optional) dash of nutritional yeast ( optional) green top of a green onion sliced thinly Measure your cheese into a bowl. slice a block of cucumer, remove the seeds. Slice and dice. Cut the tomato in half. remove the seeds and juice. Slice and dice. dice the bell pepper. Add to bowl, add seasoning, and stir. Serve or chill and serve later. This is good served on cucumber rounds, stuffed into cherry tomatos, or stuffed into a bell pepper or other fruit, or served atop your melba toast. For different flavors, spice it up with cayenne, or dried sweet peppers, curry or more herbs, just avoid the salt containing spices, cottage cheese is very salty on it's own. |

Rogue just means not following the eating plan of Dr.S as prescribed and maybe eating different food choices.

A nice combination. Have you tried making it spicy, or substituting shrimp and rice vinegar and ginger, for an Asian style? |
