Okay, so I'm probably still on my first-day high, but for me, it was good haha. I'll do whatever it takes to make the scale/inches move. Motivated!!

Try and stay focused and recall all your efforts to release the weight. Immerse yourself in P3 information, take the cleanest advice you can find, write it down and refer to it often, make a shopping list choosing your favorite allowed foods, take a deep breath and continue on the journey with us! We're here when you need us! You can do this.

I started the P2 thread despite the fact that there's a Simeon's Protocol thread because there were P2ers and P3ers in that thread and there is a P3 thread so why not a P2 thread? I'm 100% protocol but would like to talk to people who are just in P2.

I'll stay here, I guess. One thread is enough for me.
Catkin. My post: "Ohhhh!!!!! You're not posting in the wrong thread!!!!
There is a reason why there is a "Simeon's Protocol" thread, and a "Rogue" thread. There is so much to learn, when first starting this protocol. Newbies, and lurkers, would be soooooo confused if the two were not separated. You either are following the protocol on P2, or you're not.

Hope that helps!!!! ," was surely taken out of context in translation. When I said this, I was trying to tell you that you weren't in the wrong spot. The bolded part in my quotation was not directed solely to you, but to anyone reading. Meaning: most people are either rogue, or they are following protocol. (Hence the protocol thread, and the rogue thread)

A P3 and P4 thread was created for those to discuss food. Then, it would not burden those who are in P2. No harm was meant. ACTUALLY...my post was meant to be taken the complete opposite of how you took it. I didn't like that you felt that you were in the wrong spot. You were in the right thread all along.

Dawn...or whoever wants to answer...

So, Dawn still researching HcG before I go for it. One main concern I have is the exercise. I do 1 hr. of hard core zumba twice a week and run 3 miles 3 days a week. I have "heard" that you can't exercise for safety's sake and because you will actually gain weight. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I am so in the routine of exercising, I hate to give that up for the sake of losing weight when I know it's healthy to exercise.

Absolutely! M fiance was all excited when I made the chili the first time. He thought it smelled so good that he thought I was cooking HIM something- WRONG

I cook for us pretty often normally but can't really cook too much for him when I'm on protocol b/c I get tempted. It's just kinda hard for me to be stirring and everything with the smells wafting in my face. He's trying really hard not to eat my favorite stuff around me. Last night he was eating pizza and I had to leave the room b/c I started to have some temptations...

I can leave if you want........ But I might be joining y'all in P2 before too long. I just have to wait and see if I can make this weight come off with correction days. If it won't leave then I am back on P2. I much prefer P2, but I would much rather sit at LDW instead of strive to get there each and every day

No, do not leave!! I lurk here more than I post (cause I'm sometimes too busy at work to do more than that), but I look forward to your posts. Your success inspires me, and I need all the motivation I can get - from all of you!!

OK, you can continue with your execise but not START anything new during P2. That said, you might want to back off a little bit for P2. In the past, I had been doing a weight routine and felt a little bit more fatigued so backed off the weight during P2. At the same time I was training for a 1/2 marathon and did fine during my 3 mile short runs but when I attempted my long run for that week (8 miles) I was on VLCD 5 and struggled. My sugar definitely dropped at the end and I decided at that time that I wanted to continue my training and could do protocol another time. (I did run my 1/2 marathon though )

The "hardcore Zumba" may be too hard. I know that several people have been a little depleted during really hard workouts. I had been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and other videos for about a month when I started protocol and I decided that they might be too intense for right now. I can still see the arm definition I got from the shred!) I have been taking walks (about 30-45 min each) with baby in her stroller just to be moving. I fully plan on starting up the Shred in P3 so I can really get that tone going!

L & F absolutely no harm done at all Thanks for your concern though!

I was trying to explain in my last post about this that there are three threads There's this one, the alternative/rogue one and the one Jenn started--not just the two!
I read the rogue thread from time to time but haven't posted there.

Geesh!! There is so much to keep track of around here. It was quite simple when we had one thread only Much tougher to follow because everything was so mixed up, but one thread was so nice!

Or here: HCG Alternative Plans for 3/7/2011

Just remember: No starch and no added sugar...and you'll be fine. Ohhhh, and one more thing. Make sure and weigh yourself every day, and do a correction day as needed...right away.
