So, how does it sound, to yourself, that you will, actually, be doing you LAST round...and be at goal? To me, it would seem "not real." It's hard to beleive how this works...in my mind, but I guess that I will get used to it.

Thanks for sharing! I love grilled tri tip! I've just recently started dipping my chicken in Frank's Red Hot Sauce (my go to wing sauce) mixed with Gulden's brown mustard and it's great!

Lost, I set reminders on my phone to ring an alarm when it was time for my pellets. Can you say NO attention span?

Nice haircut Tori. I got mine cut yesterday too, but don't love it too much. You do have beautiful facial skin by the way

Woohoo! Congrats on another great loss

You're doing crazy good. Way to go on not giving in to cheats!

Today's VLDC day 7 for me. Shed 1 lb. from yesterday, so I'm 8 lbs. down in my first week. Sometimes wish I saw stats like some of yours, but I'm happy anyway.

I was a little hungrier than normal yesterday, but didn't cave in at all and stuck to plan. So glad to already have one week in the books with so few issues -- now I know for sure that I'll be able to go the distance

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!!
You should be thrilled! Happy Dance!

R1P2VLCD20 No daylight savings release or gain--I'm at 148.2 still.

I stayed on plan despite the mountains of sugar I was exposed to yesterday--didn't really bother me Yes, I would have liked to eaten cake and ice cream but I've come too far to blow it now, dammit!

I've heard the third week of P2 referred to over and over as The Week From Hell. I see why! I've barely budged. I suppose discovering hidden sugars and sodium in the foods I'd been eating for over 2 weeks didn't help But all things considered I could certainly not have lost this easily any other way.

I plan on going one more week because of my *tainted* foods. We'll see if I continue with any losses. If not, I may hop on over into the elusive Phat 3..uh I mean Phase 3

Great Job everyone!

Good job, yesterday!!!!! You've come a long way....baby!!!!

They say that every round is different. In my first round, the second week was my "week from hell." Hopefully, it is different. I hate those kinds of weeks.

Maybe, tomorrow will bring you a large whoosh!!!!

I have not had any trouble in my P3s. I do look forward to doing my last rounds and being done with the diet. I miss eating out. Because I won't eat out much during the diet, I feel kinda of isolated. But it has been worth it!

Me too. I feel that I must become a hermit while in P2, as it seems that most things, around here, revolve around food. While in P3, I can, normally, find somewhere to eat. I just have a steak, or burger, with no bun...with a veggie (usually, a salad...I bring my own dressing).

I just made the youngest a pan of lasagna for dinner. It smelled, and looks so good. This REALLY makes me realize what all of the years of dieting has done to me. I have to think of this...in order to get through this, or the "cheats" might start coming in. You know: "One bite shouldn't hurt anything." Pretty soon the "bites" turn into "pieces," and then, it's all down hill from there.

So, I look forward to the day, that I can once again, sit down and eat with the rest of the family with "no guilt." Hmmmm!?! It has to have been, atleast, 20 years since I could say that I sat down, ate with the rest of them, and didn't have that little voice in my head telling me how fat I was going to get from eating it, and how terrible I was, as a person, for allowing myself to get fat. Pretty soon, it's easier to just give in/up...than to deal with the guilt. The problem is, by giving up, the guilt NEVER goes away, it is just ignored...and comes out in everyday life in other ways.

I am soooo excited for this Protocol to help my metabolism get back to what it once was...before the "none of this," or the "non of that" diets, and the "last suppers."

Some day.......

For me I never ate out in P2. I do a little in P3 but it is still hard because everyone around me is eating carbs and sugars...and there goes the wanting one bite and then two bites! So even on P3 I limit my eating out. I am so hoping the protocol does really reset the metabolism! But if not, I could deal with doing the diet once a year just to keep the weight under control. I don't ever want to get where I was!

I'm with you LoneStargal. I could definitely deal with doing this diet once a year if necessary to keep the weight under control. Nothing like a little annual detox to keep the body in top condition.

I agree, but the "if necessary" part is what I'm holding out for. I think that, once goal is acheived, if one follows through with the protocol, and all of the phases...meaning weighing every day, and taking care of things right away...there shouldn't be a need for it.

Plus, once in P4, for good...I think that maintaining at a specific weight becomes easier the longer we are at a certain weight.

You're right. The ultimate success would be to be in P4 for good and not have to do anything but correction days to maintain the weight.

Well, I dabbled in our P2 choices, and tried shrimp.

From my previous round, I learned that going to bed, with this odd "full" feeling, was not a good thing for the scale in the morning.

Here's to hoping that I'm not one that is adversely effected by shrimp, as I know that there are some people who are. Since cabbage does this to me...I'm hoping that shrimp isn't another "no-no" for me. It tasted yummy!!!!!

BTW...I never get hick-ups, unless I'm pregnant, and I have hick-ups all through P2.
