HCG to Atkins

I'm new to this hcg board (have been on the Atkins board before). I took my last injection yesterday morning and will continue at 500 cals until Sunday morning. My question is, have any of you "skipped" phase 2 and just headed straight to the induction phase of Atkins? I know they are similar in what you eat, other than the fruit. I still have 15-20lbs to lose and would love to keep losing. Will the screw up all of my progress the past 40 days with HCG? I've lost 29.5 lbs (yes the scale keeps taunting me with 0.5lbs to my initial goal of 30). I'm just ready for my family meal planning to get easier. I am also going to start exercising on Monday. This has been a wonderful jumpstart to my 50 lb final goal and it's just hard for me to get in the frame of mind that I can't lose more than 2 lbs for the next 3 weeks. Any thoughts on this are much appreciated

Congrats on your losses. I think Atkins induction is basically just a more strict version of the stabilizatin phase of Simeon's protocol. He says no starch or sugar, but fruit is ok. Cutting out that fruit, following Atkins induction, and staying w/ the no starch no sugar plan would be fine.

A word of caution, from experience. Go slowly when you transition. We're all excited to add all kinds of yummy food back in, but I can tell you that cheese or nuts seem to make many of us gain, quickly. I suggest you look at some of the P3 threads and read up on the stabilizing experiences others have shared. I know you're hoping to lose some more, I'd like to also, but the 3-6 weeks after HCG should be about maintaining your loss. Then move on to losing more, however you'd like to!!

Congrats again!! And much success in the future

What is the least amount of time that you should be on P3 before doing another round of P2? I am at 22 days of P2 and thinking about going alittle longer before switching to P3 - weight loss has slowed down. I don't care for the idea of NOT losing for 3 - 6 weeks. How important is this step?
