I use Soy Sauce often.

Kj2010- Don't sweat the missed dose, I did that once or twice and it was fine. It takes 48 hours before it leaves your system...that's why we do those 2 days of no drops/500 cals at the end.

Last day of drops (rx). I've had a hard time staying on protocol the last few days- it's time. I'm excited for P3, just 72 hours to go!

We have a weekly P3 thread...don't forget to join us there. We post menus and stuff...and don't want to torture those still in P2!

I think its going to be a long week of trying to get those extra pounds I gained off, lol! I'm still having hunger issues which I'm going to attribute to perhaps TOM coming to pay a visit. I hate using that as an excuse, esp. since I'm not sure I ovulated this month (normally there's no denying it but not true this month) so I'm keeping the extra protein and hoping for the best. I don't deal with hunger well.

Anyway, dropped 1 1/2 pounds, but I'm still 6 over my lowest. I could also use a good visit with Bernice, lol! I'm sure that would help!

You are down and that is great!!!!

I attribute my hunger after a cheat as the yeasties in my system crying out to be fed. That is all it is---cravings. You can get through it. Drown them with water is what I did yesterday. It will get better.

I know I've seen you say this before but my husband who is as tall as you did the protocol with me and ate 500 calories/day just like me at 5'6" and did great. He lost 23 lbs. They don't say because you are tall you need to eat more if you want to stick to the protocol. I know others have done well at 700 calories/day but there's no harm to you doing 500 as long as you do the drops.

Dear Mouse Tartufo:

50 degree weather requires a winter coat, although you can leave it unbuttoned. It is most certainly NOT t-shirt time. T-shirt time is the time of evening when you take off the wife beater and put on the fresh shirt because you wanna be fresh when you go out to the club. HTH.

I did this last Monday. What I did was take my drops at 7PM when I got home and again at 11PM when I went to bed. Didn't affect me one bit.

Day 24 and first day no drops! I'm in Biz's boot camp and she recommended I eat 750 calories today and 1,000 calories tomorrow before turning to P3 on Thursday. Was SUPER excited to have coffee for the first time in 3 weeks!

My LDW is 161.4. Got some wiggle room as I weighed 160.5 today! Hoping that even though I won't sustain that I lose at least .6 today to see 159.something on the scale tomorrow. Will make me SO happy.

Haven't lost my Northern genes yet. But trust me, if you're going running, 50 is t-shirt weather. Otherwise they find you on the side of the road, gasping from heat exhaustion.

And what is "Biz's Bootcamp" I'm intrigued!!

Oh, I wanted to add too that DH is 6'1" and is following the 500 calorie protocol as well. And he works a pretty physical job.

I really hope to get back down to my pre-cheat weight by Monday as I am really ready to move to P3. P2 has taught me so much and I'm very thankful that I tried the HCG diet, but man I am ready for my heavy cream!

Well, okay, girls...if your hubbies can do 500 calories then so can I!

Do you guys think some people's bodies take longer to kick into the mode of turning to abnormal fat stores for energy? Do you think that might be why some people are hungry for longer than others?

I am so grateful that my hunger finally subsided! I plan on stretching this round as long as I can (up to the 43 day mark) and making the most of it now that it has gotten easier.

vlcd9 and I am down 0.6 pounds today. 258.8 lbs. So far, I have lost at least something every day. I'm liking this!

Hope you ladies have a fantastic day!

Yeah, well so much for me. I was up .5 today! LOL Man, I contribute it to the no drops last night and also I did not measure my ground beef for my "taco salad", and I know I had way more than I should have. So....MY BAD!
I'm sure it will be back off tomorrow. Needless to say, I will not be forgetting my drops at work again!!!

Awww...I'm sorry about the gain. But you have been doing so well, we started hcg on the same day and I have been envious of your losses! I'm sure tomorow you'll be back to losing again. Stay strong! Girl, I have FOUR bottles of hcg drops! I keep the one I'm using in my purse so that I always have it, but yeah, I have backups if I need them!

LOL! Um, yeah looks like I will be doing the same thing on PAYDAY!!! haha

Thank you for the encouragement! At least this time I can chalk it up to my own mistakes. I know some people get frustrated when they do everything right and still don't lose. I'm just hoping I'll get back on the losing track tomorrow!

LOL me too! Well, I'm down to 2, but yes I bought extra just in case I'd forget one somewhere of lose one! I did forget a few doses though here and there just b/c I'd fall asleep or got busy doing something.

Did anyone who's ever forgotten a dose ever seen a gain the next day? If not, then I will definitely blame "the beef"! lol

I went about 20 hours without drops.

Official daily check in - down 1.5 pounds! That's the extra .5 I was up from SuperBowl Sunday's extra serving of chicken and salt plus more! Woo! I can't wait to see the 1 on the scale (it weighs in half pound increments) - I'm one pound from hitting the century mark! I haven't seen a 1 in the front of my numbers in a few years - getting as excited as a 6 year old boy for a Star Wars birthday party.

I have the same problem as Skinnie Minnie. I have a surgery planned for Friday, 2/25/11, so per the book, I plan to take my last injection on that Tuesday and start up again on that Monday. I don't think I have to do any load days since my interruption will be less than 14 days.

Dr. Simeon says surgery and general anesthesia are not contraindications on HCG but I don't think the hospital would prepare such a specialized diet for one day. I think I would do better going into P3 for a few days until I get my strength back up. I thought about waiting longer but since I won't be able to exercise for 4 weeks I would rather be in P2 during that time.
This is what I did, I made sure that I was in P3 a few days before my knee surgery I wanted to make it as easy as possible for meals.

I have heard different things about that. Some say it has to do with what we eat when we load. The more fats the better, carb loading, not so good. I didn't have the hunger except the day I took 13 drops so idk but i'm GLAD it stopped for you and you were able to hang in there!

Personally I am closer to 700 cals per day because I workout everyday and without the extra protein I get dizzy etc.

Blame the beef cause the drops take 48 hours to circulate which I think means if you missed it yesterday, your body won't notice for 48 hours or so

I am wayyyy happy for you keep it up! I think we are at about the same place Mousie from the same start day but since my scale went kaput I really have no idea. I saw 201.4 once this week
