Interesting...oh, my yes!

Gotta ask - PINK hair? You look awesome and honey, if anyone can pull it off it's definitely YOU. I guess I'm at the age where I could be considered a "blue hair." Aw, jeez. That really hurts, now that I think about it....

Hair loss: I hope the biotin works! I am taking it and eating more protein.
What I mean by "no significant hair loss" is really no more than normal. When I brush my hair, I would say about 10 hairs come out, which my hair dresser tells me is normal.

aaaw never say that Jenny..
you are a cute gal and have what looks to be beautiful thick hair.
wish mine was as thick..at least in the front ..as yours is..
you would look adorable with REAL blue hair
not the funny old lady kind hahahaha
i think you are adding way too many years to your vision of self
i went blue over the holidays and now back to pink..
blue was fun..but the pink suits me better ..
You are so sweet to compliment

Besides the biotin I take Iodoral iodine, which many people report stops hair loss and also improves skin and hair texture. I trust that anyone here interested in it would research if it was right for them before taking it. I'm sure that not everyone can take it, even though my whole family does and has become much healthier and we all get sick far less often. For me it also warms my extremities, balances hormones, and gives me extra energy.

I'm at about 1,000 calories today. Spotting became TOM now, so just riding it out and trying to stay in control.

Febomb--I think having a crepe a day is a good idea for me too. It really hit the spot for only about 200 calories and gave a pretty good protein boost. I did put a little egg white in it. Thanks for your recipe. And I like your pink hair. I had reddish purple hair once and really liked it. I was in the military at the time and they didn't quite know what to make of it--wasn't covered in the regs.

Gina--where in Iowa? I was born in Fort Dodge and also lived in Des Moines, Clarion, and Eagle Grove.

I have had hair loss too, but attribute it to a lot of stress last year, major dietary changes and rapid weight loss. I know more is growing in, but hate to see what comes out. I may have to try this to help with my extrememly cold hands and feet. Will be researching this. Thanks, mermaid!

You're welcome, Stacey. You may be surprised to see possibly thousands of enthusiastic testimonials out there about this. Each tablet is only the amount of iodine that the average Japanese person eats in a day, so I am convinced it is safe.

I have pretty much been hungry all day, and for once I think I actually ate all 500 calories. I used the old drops, thinking that maybe the problem was the too-high dose and not the drops, but I think this pretty much proves that the old ones are kaput. I am off to take a dose from the new bottle.

Morning!

Dropped 2.2 lbs today, amazing what taking a day off of drinking red wine can do!!

Calories yesterday were closer to 620 or so, felt pretty good about that. Don't want to go much higher, but hey, if I'm hungry, I'm hungry!

Well -- old drops or not.... 109.4! Broke my original goal, now shooting for goal #2!

I have 4 more dosing days, but I am still contemplating dragging that out a bit longer-- I am so close!

Hi. Would you help me guineapig myself?
VLCD23. No loss for 9 days. I cheated with bourbon VLCD 14/15 but have not gone beyond 500 cal on any day.

I have a business trip tomorrow and Thur. Thinking of doing Up day Wed, down day Thur. Am willing to do down day today (20%=315. 25%=394. Normal=1576)

For up day, how should I make up my calories? Avoid starch? Add fat?
TIA

Down another pound, 9 lbs total for my first week!

Had a great day yesterday hunger-wise, no problems whatsoever. Made a big batch of P2 chili, which I absolutely love, and put a bunch into single-serve containers in the freezer.

It's amazing how those first several pounds lost make you feel so much lighter! No belly bloat, no water retention. I sailed right through TOM with that 9-pound loss, too.

I'm ready for it to slow down mentally, because I know it will, and probably should.

For the up day you don't have to watch anything. HOWEVER, if you prefer to add fat and reduce carbs, that is totally up to you. IF it were ME though, after a 9 day stall, I would having a day of whatever to eat within your calorie guidelines to shake things up. Of course for me, Carbs don't make me go crazy and crave anymore, so it is a personal thing for sure.

Best of luck to ya! I hope you break that stall and move on down the scale!

Thanks. I'm fine with carbs from whole grains and starchy veg.
Sugar makes me feel bad. Processed starch foods/white flour make me feel puffy.

Emel -- hang tough! Good luck whatever you decide.. but you are RIGHT at that point where stalls tend to break and good losses tend to follow......

I DO know the pain of the long stall!

Thanks mini. If I wasn't travelling, I would stay at 500 cal. I am sure my sister and I will have one drink together and a restaurant meal. I can do it on 500 cal if I choose mineral water, but with the stall I thought it might be an opportunity to 'shake things up' as deb mentioned. The trip is to handle a very large part of my mother's estate, and to be honest, a celebratory cocktail and dinner with my dear sister is more important than weight loss at this occasion.

I totally agree, Emel -- may you have a safe and successful trip! I hope you get the estate handled completely -- that must be a huge relief once its done.

The scale can wait -- these things cannot.

Too funny about the military regulations
i love coloring my hair and have for a long time..

eventually i guess i will have to lay off for a while..
not yet though

i am crazy about my protein crepes..
usually i just do the pudding thing
with my protein shakes twice a day
but since i started the HHCG i quit eating my berries and melons
and i miss the sweet treat i had in my fruit..
this feels like a treat to me..so i am gonna stick with it

Popping in at work to say I'm stepping away from the ledge that I was prepared to leap from. I got on the scale and saw that I'd GAINED 1.2 lbs. How can that be?? I ate less than 800 cals yesterday? Sigh...but I did fall on the ice yesterday and am hoping that it's just inflammation. I mean, I did feel a bit slimmer today.

Hanging on my my fingernails...Jenny

Inflammation will definitely do it - your body is hanging on to water to heal itself.

Sometimes I have to just think about it logically - there is no way to gain a pound or 2 of FAT overnight unless you ate something like 3500 extra calories, so there has to be another reason for it, likely water retention.

Keep on keepin on!

Well I don't actually agree with this by my own personal trials and those of many others. I don't believe that lotions have any effect at all with HHCG. Nor do I think adding fat with a JUDDD type plan will hurt. But of course, this is just my own personal experience. AND that of many many others.

Please do as you see fit though, what works for one, does not work for another.

I couldn't do 1570 cal without fat. would be 21 oz protein, 3 sweet potatoes, triple green veggies, and my normal fruit and melba. No way.
