I got pretty hungry in the late afternoon, and I was sooooo happy to eat dinner. I had fat free cottage cheese and cut up strawberries, and cucumbers with vinegar and salt and pepper. Soooooo gooood.

Hope everyone stayed on plan today! Here's to huge losses tomorrow!

On another note, does anyone know if it's okay to take a multi-vitamin? I asked that the other day but I don't think anyone answered. Thanks. :-)
I can't imagine not taking vitamins while eating so little. I take a Multi Vitamin, Calcium, B-12 and Potassium (made my headaches disappear).

Had a really rough day today. I don't know what it was. Gaining a pound didn't help matters though! I just feel defeated and this is the first day that I really felt the need to eat anything. By dinner time I had a horrible backache and just felt dizzy and gross. I ended up putting the kids to bed and taking a nice long bath and I am feeling a bit better but seriously, I can not wait until Sunday. My husband and I are going to have a cheat day then do 5 more days of vlcd's and then FINALLY phase 3. I'm just getting frustrated and tired I guess.

Rant over!

Mary, way to go! I needed to see you success story tonight!

I'm so sorry to hear you've had such a terrible day. It is such a mental thing I think with all of us, but I know you know with this diet there will be up and down days, but mostly down (as in losing!). You have already come SO far! Wow. That says so much. Did you measure yourself today? Maybe take your measurements and see. I bet you will feel better.
It seems like you are not alone today and that several people gained or stalled today. I really hope you all have a better day tomorrow. Just think positive thoughts and be proud of yourself for how far you've come so far. You are NOT defeated....you are a conqueror!

I am just feeling frustrated. I'm swelling up like a balloon, and the scale hasn't moved a blink in over three days. I haven't changed a thing. TOM isn't due for about 1.5 weeks, so it's too early for any of that nonsense.

Hang in there Mousie, my scale is stuck too but this is sposed to slow down in our second week The losses are coming we just need to hang in there. Measure your inches and see if they are dropping!

My TOM wasn't scheduled for another month when I started but it came back yesterday...according to the others, sometimes the HCG screws with our cycles.

I ended up staying just the same this morning, and yesterday morning I had a migraine attack right*in*the*middle*of*seeing*a*client! ACK! I was inputting while looking through holes in my vision. It was awful. I downed some ibuprofen and tylenol my assistant brought me and then tried to eat something after she was gone. It was not a good experience. That has NOT happened to me before on VLCD, usually my migraine triggers are chemicals, light, smells, or foods that aren't on the plan.

I'm getting anxious, but I know it will drop soon. I'm only .6 away from my mini-goal for this round and then I'd like a pound or more buffer, if my shots last until 2/8, my 40th day. Just wish I could get enough sleep, because I know that is definitely affecting my losses (and I'm just plain tired!) along with not being able to drink all the liquid I need to because I'm seeing clients on the hour every hour and not always able to get to the loo!

OK so I'm done whining now

Morning all!

Today is R3P3D3 and I am at my LDW this AM. I had a very strong reaction after eating leftover stirfry for lunch yesterday and was so sick for the rest of the afternoon. I went to bed at 7:30 last night. I am feeling MUCH better this AM. Thinking it was the soy sauce...which is known to be something a lot of people are sensitive to. That was not fun. Today is another day!

Have a good one everybody!

Check the recipe sticky. Its on the 1st page. I made them 1x so far and thought with a little more tweaking I could really love 'em! I just don't think I made them quite right.

Ugh, I'm putting up the white flag. My "matter" is winning over my mind. After a 1 1/2 pound weight gain this week my weight loss for the week is .4. To top that off I had no measurable inches lost since Sunday either. I've been starving to the point of backaches and waking up in the middle of the night wanting to eat my pillow the past 2 days, I'm getting dizzy and migrains.

I'm drinking tons of water, following strict protocol and counting the calories and the scale still hates me! I'm on vlcd19 with a loss of 15 pounds, BUT 8 of it was loading. I'm not sure this was worth it for 7 pound lost total. I'm going to stay strick today but if there's no loss on the scale I'm going to call it quits. All of a sudden my body really does not like this woe! Part of me things that my body just likes this weight (163.6) and if wasn't for the physical discomforts, headaches and dizziness I'd just stick it out, but I'm seriously to the point of not being able to function!

I am going to suggest that you up your protein and calories to 800 and hang in there until you reach 23 days and then do P3 and P4 and I bet if you come back for another round you will blow right through that set point.

Today is the 'magical' VLCD Day 4 I've heard many people talk about - when the hunger goes away. We shall see.

So far I am 3.2 under pre-load so at least something is happening.

Torister - to get to 800 calories, did you just up the protein or other things also. If the hunger persists I am have to go that route also - I can't give up. I noticed you are in Red Sox Nation - me too. Doesn't seem like spring will get here though. I did manage to get tickets to 2 games later in the season so something to look forward to. My goal is to fit in those seats better!

Hello everyone. I'm on VLCD15 and I've lost 8.2 lbs this round (9.2 incl loading). This second week has REALLY slowed down for me. Anyone else experience this. Here's my last 6 days (only -2 lbs in the last 6 days). I'm staying strict protocol.) I'm thinking about opening up my 2nd bottle of drops to see if the drops are the problem. Any other ideas?:

143.4 -1.00
142.8 -0.60
142.8 0.00
142.6 -0.20
141.8 -0.80
142 0.20
141.4 -0.60

What a trying day for a bunch of us. I am up yet again. I cannot belive that one little indiscretion can screw me up for this long. So, please learn from MY mistake and DO NOT cheat while on plan. It is the very reason why I preach "do it by the book"!!! I should have taken my own advice. I will plug along, even though I want to give up!! I will do so because just as Shelby said "The pounds have to go some time!!!" Just for me it will be a bit longer!! Oh well. Good thing chicken is on sale this week for $1.79 a pound. Need to get me some more. Oh and asparagus is only $1.99/lb. Good deals!!!

GUH. Still stuck. I even took measurements, and no change there either. This is the sort of thing that would otherwise have me saying "well screw it then, I'm having what I will ENJOY eating", but I'm going to be good and stick to plan.

The worst part is, based on the trend of my weight loss *before* starting this plan, is that I'd be *at least* where I am right now, if not lower. It's like I gained it all back during loading for nothing.

Whoever is holding the whoosh fairy hostage, could you please be a dear and let it loose? There's lots of us on this board who need the encouragement of a visit from her.

Aw, hon I feel ya. This gets to be hard some times. I wish for those good old days when I used to be able to cook and bake and handle all that stuff while on P2. It really was bliss back then--no way I would think of cheating, not even for a second. Not so this late in the game. Every little thing sets me off now. I hope you have a great weekend. I am shooting for the same. Plan on staying true to protocol and those pounds have to go!! Maybe a few days away from the scale will get me in a better mood too.

I'm down 1.2 today. Total lost this round is 12.8 and today is VLCD15. I have to say I'm pretty proud that I'm still on this plan, I'm bad at quitting when something isn't much fun.

I made the best dinner for me last night. It was so good and filling I was getting guilty feelings because I felt like I was cheating.

I'm also planning a cheat day for Sunday. I won't be home all day and have Superbowl parties. I don't plan to overdo it to bad. Should I not take drops that day?

Good luck with that. I am still dealing with my cheat day and here it is 3 days later--I am still going UP on the scale. And that is AFTER 2 very on plan protocol days following the cheat!!! So be careful with what you chose to eat on your off day. It can literally set your weight loss back by a week--I am NOT kidding. Totally not worth it to me if you ask, but you didn't so I am sorry to sound preachy Have a great time!!

I dint know what it was? Maybe because I'm away from home I do know I can do this and that I want to. I'm so close to goal and ECM 5 pounds on my small frame is going to make a huge difference. I'm doing a 2 week challenge- just 2 weeks strict protocol. I can do anything for 14 days!

I haven't done this as I have lost consistently and have no hunger during P2 after the first couple of days....at least in my first 3 rounds....don't want to jinx myself going forward!! LOL! The reason is, you need to get through 23 vlcds with dosing and then a couple more to get the HCG out of your system and then move into P3. If you do not, the weight is going to come right back on.

Lucky YOU! I love the Red Sox! I hope they can get the trucks out and head south for Spring training. The weather is awful here.

Totally not worth it to me if you ask, but you didn't so I am sorry to sound preachy Have a great time!!

My plan is to eat baked chicken wings (I am bringing the Walden Farms Blue Cheese with me) and shishkabob. Other then that I will try to stick to salads and no carbs.

Stick with that plan and you should do fine. Do not let sugar pass those lips!!! As far as dosing---I have no idea. I would do it just if it gives you an edge for hunger control. When you take the drops you don't feel hungry do you? I know that is what everyone in the rogue plan says--they take the drops and it helps with the hunger issue.
