Luvs-- major congrats on making the goal early!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else find it funny that we refer to TOM as a HE? I understand the abbreviation, but it is funny that we've dubbed it a "him" -- only a male would do this to us, right?

Down another 1.2 pounds today so into truly fresh territory. I am hoping for 185 by the weekend which give me 3 more days to get off 2.3 pounds. Or 1.4 if you count 185.9 as "185"!

On another note, remember those pants that I had to dig out of my closet last week because my other ones were literally falling off? Well, they are now LOOSE! Haha. Look out 10's--here I come!!!!!

Whoo hoo Shelby! I know... I got into, and shrunk out of a pair of jeans in about a week and a half! The inch loss is so much more exciting to me even than the scale loss--- I have gone months without weighing, but I generally wear clothing every day

This is actually good to hear

I appear to be up 1.4 lbs today and I'm pretty sure i'm starting another period

This is just weird. I don't think I like it.

This protocol messes up cycles for a lot of women....I was spared that, so far... but I'm sure that is what is causing the gain, Ginja!

Yea I'm not freaking out about it I'm ok. The inches are still going down but i'm generally in a foul mood today....part TOM part no Bernice and part ex husband. I am just going to continue to eat on plan even though i'm craving one of those ice cream bars in my freezer.

You know when TOM, Bernice, and your ex-husband all appear in the same sentence... it kinda says something about your ex-husband!

DOWN DOWN DOWN another 1.5 this morning. Actually kind of surprising since I had a long frustrating day yesterday with lots of stress and didn't sleep very well. I broke into a new half-decade (???) and down to 185 and change. I am just looking for another 0.8 by the weekend to hit that solidly! I actually looked back to exactly one week ago and I am down about 6.5 pounds. I LOVE HCG!!!

I love this plan, too! The results are so fast, so real, and so tangible. I wish I had known about this years ago... but since I didn't, I am SO glad I know about it now.

Assuming the products remain available, I will never attempt to lose weight any other way again... this just ROCKS!

That silly 1.4 lbs decided to leave. Started TOM though blecch. Holding at 206.4 on VLCD 11. I know i've lost more than that, an inch fell off my waist and another half went from my hips

I've got lots going on over here will be sporadic next few days. Congrats to all the losers!

Good morning ladies! (haven't seen any gents on here but my apologies if we have lurkers...) Down another 1.1 this morning so time to change my stats AGAIN! It's nice to be able to do this after the constant frustration of Atkins, M&E or any of the other things I tried where that number would go up one week only to go down the next.

Have a great Friday everyone (she says as she goes to dig a lower size of jeans out of the bowels of the closet... )

Woo Shelby...you go dig in that closet, girl! Isn't that a great feeling?

Cleaning the closet and weeding out big clothes is one of my tasks for the day -- looking forward to it

I am still losing (down .2 today, but that is still a loss!) so I am extending my round. I have half a bottle of drops left, and I think I will use them up unless I stall out first.

I am feeling good, and still have a bit of flub on the butt that really could use to go away. I want to get this all over with in one swell foop.

I have loose skin on my belly and also on my calves (yay... calves are finally shrinking!!!) --- definitely time for some exercise and skin tightening strategies. My face still looks fine though -- not gaunt, and that is the one place I really don't want to lose.

Onward and downward, lovelies!!

Down another 0.4 pounds this morning and I'll take it. I am exactly 5 pounds down from last Saturday so that's really my goal--5 pounds per week. I've got another 11 days left before P3 and I would love to be sitting solidly in the mid-170's. Again, might be a little ambitious but why not dream?

I'm having a Superbowl party tomorrow and plan to stay strictly on protocol. My beloved Packers are in it again, FINALLY, and I feel truly confident that the food I'm making won't tempt me in the least. As for the booze...well, this is the 4th year that I've gotten on the wagon for a start or year cleanse and it just keeps getting easier!

Have a great weekend everyone! Off to grill some chicken for chicken tacos tomorrow...

Go Shelby -- you have a fantastic attitutude and great losses too!

I find I don't miss drinking at all, oddly enough -- I thought I would.

I am down another .4 this morning, and very glad I decided to extend my round. I am ready to hit goal and move on to maintenance, working out, etc.

My plan is to use up the drops I have -- stay on protocol until they run out, and just be happy with whatever weight that yields. I'd love to see 105 or lower, but not going to stress it whatever the darn number is.

Good job everyone! I am going to weigh tonight after the last of my cleansing leaves my system but I will report another inch off my chest, and TWO off the waist, which I don't understand at all since I feel so freaking bloated most of the time. I added an inch to the hip and lost one on the thigh, I think I'm rearranging???

My thighs look like hamhocks though so let it GO come on thighs SHRINK!

Despite working out everyday with my callanetics, I am feeling pretty loose and jiggly everywhere, normally after this much callan I am feeling really firm. Oh well. Weight tomorrow!

Readhead - have you read Pounds & Inches? That's the best pace to start. Briefly, P2 starts with 2 "loading days" where you take your drops as directed (usually in the range of 10 drops 3x per day) and EAT as much as possible, heavy on the fats. The third day you drop down to 500 calories which consists of 2 3.5 ox/100g portions of chicken breast, lean beef or veal, white fish, or shrimp/crab lobster, 2 portions of vegetables including celery, cabbage, leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, endive, bok choy), radishes, asparagus, tomatoes, and onions, 2 pieces of fruit to include oranges, apples, 1/2 grapefruit, and strawberries, and 2 breadsticks or melba toast. You can have unlimited black coffee and any kind of tea. You may also have all spices (no sugar) as well as vinegar and mustard. Stevia is the recommended sweetener. You eat this protocol for a minimum of 21 days (you CAN go longer up to 40 days) taking the drops then follow it up with 2 days of eating like this with NO drops. That's it in a nutshell. Anyone have anything else to add? I'm sure I forgot something! Also, check out the stickies at the top of the forum list for tips & tricks as well as recipes.

No change for me today but I expected that somewhat. Although I ate clean yesterday, I was very busy all day prepping for my Superbowl party and as much as I tried to not get oils on my skin (wore gloves for the most part), I'm sure any contact with full fat cheese, avocados, and fatty meat and my skin was like "Oh, HE!! yeah!" I also washed and conditioned my hair--again with the gloves but I am sure some conditioner soaked in! Still committed to a clean Superbowl. I've got my beef and cabbage ready to go for lunch and have set aside some plain chicken with lettuce leaves for my taco dinner...

I forgot to mention that I measured yesterday and I am down a total of 5 inches in the last week, including and inch and a half off my waist, an inch off my bust and off my torso (yay for back fat disappearing!), and an inch off my hips! I am really FEELING thinner which is totally awesome!!!

Have a great Sunday everyone (and did I say, GO PACKERS!? )

Go Shelby with the inch loss!!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't that ROCK???!!!????

I never gave up using oils in my skin products -- not sure if that is why I am losing a little slower than some, but I value my skin, scalp, etc.

I visited the scale last night and it said 201...then an hour later it said 204. I am taking the higher weight. I started a blog about this every day weighing business and why i'm not doing it anymore

Okay, maybe I'm confused. I'm nearly my 40th day and ready for the next phase... phase 2.. Couldn't find anything in P&I on what to eat, accept to add calories in. Are there any links here with suggested foods?

Ok the reason we are confused is because most of us start in P2, P1 as I understand it is from Kevin Trudeau's book. P2 is the VLCD that you took to 40 days, next is P3 where you add back the foods minus starch and sugar. You can search the board for P3 threads and recipes that's where you will find out about that portion. HTH
