advice please...possible interruption on a very long round...
I am doing rx injections through a Dr. I am on r2. I have ZERO willpower this round. I do one injection skip day a week and my plan was to do another long round (10 weeks). I had lost 12 lbs in this round. I am on day 35 . I am only 1 lb under LIW and have 3 weeks worth of hCG left (she still owes me 3 weeks). I don't want a lecture on going past 40 days please
I want to know if you were in my shoes and were ok with longggggg rounds - would you do another 5 weeks (or 3) or would you take a planned interruption?Last edited by droy; 01-28-2011 at 10:26 AM.. |

I thought R2 would be easy too, but your right the willpower is something else, not that I am craving, just want it, lol.
I would go for as long as I can mentally take it. I did a short round for my first, now on my second I know better. However I don't have a lot to loose and I want it to be my final round. So if it takes longer than 40 days oh well, the benefits will be worth it. |

OK here is what I am thinking - I want to be out of p3 on April 1st.
Stop injections today. Take a 2 week break (eat p3 starting Monday) 1/31 to 2/14 Reload 2/14-2/15 Do a 23 day round with no skipping day on injections 2/14-3/8 Start P3 3/11 and end by 4/1 Does that look right? Would I reload? |

I'm sorry your having trouble this round.. i've never done a long round so I can't really offer any advice on them.. but if you aren't happy and losing, then i think you should take a break.
Maybe your dr could increase your HCG dosage to help you with cravings and such? |

Droy -- I am no expert, but I think your plan sounds good. This is definitely a challenge even if your head is in it, and if it isn't, I suspect it would be miserable! This is actually the reason I chose to do a long round for r1, because I have heard a lot of people say that r2 is just harder in general.
Good luck! |

Have you tried tweaking the protocol a bit. Yesterday I was in the mood for some sort of carbs. I had already planned rice and made it with my talapia. Mid afternoon came around and I was still craving some carbs. I decided to make one of the mini popcorn bags, though I ended up having two total. Still craving carbs when I got home I made lean beef, low sodium taco sauce, and brought some tortillas.
I felt so much better mentally and physically. Today I feel much more focused and the cravings subsided greatly. Plus I only gained .2 from it. Our office has doughnuts every Friday and they did smell good but I was amazed how easy it was to turn it down. Sorry rambling, but if you craving something see if you can adjust it so its not so "unhealthy." |

Monkey -thank you ♥ How are you doing? You are soooo tiny! Are you still in P2?
Be gone - yes tweaking the protocol is why I am only -12 lbs this round lol. I did protein shakes both rounds too. Julieboolie - That is the main reason I want to reload, I think if I do less than 2 weeks and don't reload I won't fix this willpower/craving (whatever it is) issue. Thank you all for your help! I love this board, everyone is so nice ♥ |

How close are you towards your goal? I'm not to sure about protein shakes since some of them have certain ingredients in them.
When I did tweak I tried to make it as "holistic" as possible. |

I am about 5 lbs from a "normal" BMI and would love to get to 128-ish (am 145 now) my high school cheerleading weight lol I go by the ideal weight for body type. So since I am 5'3'' medium framed, I should be below 136 - I figure 128 is a reasonable goal. http://www.healthcentral.com/diet-ex...ml?2,5,3,145,2 Ideal weight range is 124 - 136.4 lbs. (56.4 - 62 kg.). You are marginally overweight by 8.6 lbs. (4 kg.). Last edited by droy; 01-28-2011 at 12:13 PM.. |

Hmmm....I was asking because although I haven't loss much weight ( even in R1) I certainly noticed inches. Wondering if this was the same case with you. I'm about 10 lbs away from goal so I expect things to slow down.
Sorry I have nothing else to add other then whatever you decide good luck! |
