WowWowWow! I had my first day with hardly any hunger. Such a relief. Just a couple of mild twinges here and there a few hours after eating. Stayed at 600 calories with no problem.

I'm alternating drops and pellets right now to see which works better. Seems like both are hit and miss so it's not clear which is better yet.

Had P2 chili (easy 5-minute recipe) with shirataki orzo, hamburger patty, LC yogurt, and coffee with cream.

I am really hoping they don't yank hhcg off the shelves! I read that news article earlier, and it makes me nervous... I think I am going to stock up, too, as soon as I get paid!

Exhausted and sore today, after the all nighter and the workout....finally home and tucked up on the couch, soon to be asleep! I ate a light progresso soup when I got home...not exactly protocol, but it was veggie and only 120 calories for the can. I was just completely depleted and needed something warm and quick. I think I stayed pretty close to the 500 cals even still, but was hungry off and on all day.

I think I am staying off the scale for a few days -- staying on protocol, but the scale is driving me crazy. I plan to finish out the 40 day round in any event. And... yes... I do want more hhcg on hand in case I need/want to do a round later.

Mimosa, glad to see *you* in your avi - looking good!

I totally blew it last night. Had a wonderful lunch and dinner, then an hour after dinner ate a ton of corn Chex. Don't ask me why...haven't done anything like that in years. Decided since I blew it I should also have a couple glasses of wine. Sigh....

I am lucky to be only one pound up. I don't know why I acted like that...I do know I felt extremely exhausted yesterday. Maybe I should up my iron pills. Or maybe it's a mid month hormonal thing going on.

FYI, crock pot is an excellent way to cook any of those tough dry low fat steaks...top round and so forth. I braised our london broil last night (crockpot works good too), sliced thin and served it fajita style for the family, salad style for me.

Morning everyone!

Lacey-KUTGW!! Great job!!

Paula-like Deb said, stuff happens and then we move on. You will do just fine!

Hi Deb!!

Am down .5 this morning. So I am at a weight that I probably haven't seen since before kids 6.5 years ago. Everyone keeps telling me that I need to stop and that I look great, but they haven't seen me nekked! It is nice to hear the compiliments, but I just don't see it all yet.

Went out to coffee (I got ruby chai tea) with friends last night and they were so fascinated with the way that I eat and they were asking tons of questions. I was happy to share, but I didn't tell them hhcg b/c some people just get weird and I didn't want that to be the focus. I was focusing on clean, unprocessed eating. It was a really nice time with a great group of women.

Good morning ladies! Congrats on such great losses to all! Looks like a few of you are sooo close to goal! That must "taste" great! A well earned victory.

Paula, don't sweat the cheats. Life is about living. You have to give in once in a while. Its a-ok! Try to think 90/10 rule...90% you eat as you "should". 10%, you enjoy life.

I am down 1.2 lbs this morning! Only 2 lbs away from getting the heck out of this decade! Sick of this number! LOL...but down 18.6 for this round so far!

Morning all! I am running a lot today, so I'll just do a quickie. I'm the same today, 151.6, which is a bummer. I doubt I'll lose 2lbs by Fri now, but still working the plan. 600 cals yesterday so it's just the stall. Oh well.

Paula-not too much damage. We all do stuff like that from time to time. Part of life. You're fine, re-focused and in charge!!

Deb-good to hear from you.

Stacey-yeah!!

Phx-yeah!!

Heck, all the losers - YEAH!!

Mini-I'd like to take a scale break too!! I hate it when it's not being nice to me!!

Have a good day guys!

Paula--Corn Chex of all things! LOL ( I know I can laugh because you're gonna get right back on the horse and keep going).

Woohoo Lacey, Gremom and PXH. Rockin' and roguin'!

Hopin' for a wooshie for Julieboolie! You still could make that goal by Friday.

Mimosa, you are looking good!

Hi to everyone else--still trying to get to know everyone.

Looks like I'm on a little stall. Totally expected. I am feeling much better at least and will stay on plan today.

I realized yesterday that it would be possible for me to get to a normal weight (135-150 or so) by my 48th birthday in September if I can hang with this. That's even taking two-week breaks between rounds. How amazing would that be?

Mermaid-you'll get there!! You're losing so well (stall aside) and very balanced in your approach. What a wonderful gift!! And I'd love a big whoosh, but don't think it's gonna' happen. I've never been blessed with big whooshes, and am more the tortoise than the hare .

Phx-you too!! You'll totally get there!!

Mimosa-nice to see your pretty face .

Looking at my HCG journey, and even if I don't hit my goal of 149lbs by Friday, I'm still really pleased with my weight. I wanted, initially, just to see 159lbs, then dreamed of seeing 155lbs. Now, I'm actually far enough below it to conceivably maintain at 155+/-! I never thought that would happen.

My "goal" jeans fit, and they're a size 6!! Wow! I feel good, and am starting to "see" myself as a bit smaller. I'm hoping more inches go during P3, that would be a bonus! Dh calls me "tiny" and dd(10) thinks we're "just about the same size these days" LOL!

So, as I wrap up this extended cycle round, I am keeping perspective. I weighed 196lbs in March of '10. I started HCG in Sept. at 187lbs and am 151.6 right now. That's pretty amazing, considering how stuck I was, scrapping to get down to 179lbs on LC the past few years.

Anyway, just wanted to post those thoughts while I have them. If/when I don't hit my goal # on Friday and am bummed, I need to remember the big picture. WE all do!!

Julie, that was an awesome post. I hope you do refer back to it when you get frustrated. And in your pic you look more like 130 pounds than in the 150s anyway. You have done an amazing and wonderful thing in losing all that weight. I hope I can make that "claim to fame" someday! After so many years of struggling it's hard to totally believe it, yet I have a lot of hope.

Hey girls (I don't think we have any guys - sorry if I'm mistaken!)

Mermaid-thanks . You're so sweet. It's a constant battle, but so worth it. You're doing it, and you'll be at goal before you know it. Maintenance is hard too, but not quite as restrictive. I look forward to it. But, knowing me I will probably decide to try to lose more again after a bit of a break. I'm doing a full 6 weeks this time!

Just had a nice mug of orange spice tea. It's been a recent craving for me, and thankfully warms me up!! I've been really cold lately, even here in AZ. Can't imagine how you all do it in the colder climates. I am planning to go see a Dr. once our new health insurance starts (April 1st!!). I think my thyroid is off. I got blood work done (ordered and paid for it online) and my free T3 is quite low. I'm cold, dry hair/skin, body temps always around 96, hair falling out at the roots, tired and really hard time losing weight/gaining easily. Classic symptoms, but the hair falling out really has gotten worse lately. Big hand fulls every time I shower, and all day long too!! Thankfully I have thick hair. It's always a problem, but much worse the past 3-4 weeks. I know with weight loss that happens, but this is getting ridiculous!!

Feeling chatty, so came by to share. I know I should go to the Dr. sooner, but it's so expensive!

Anyway, hope you're all doing well!!

Deb-Even out here in sunny AZ I'm pasty and pale this time of year. It did hit 75 here today, so I think we'll be in capris soon. That part I love about AZ!!

Hi all! Mimosa -- love the pic! You are lovely!

Tazcat -- sorry you are feeling so rough! Some people seem to do well the first few days, while others feel about the way you do.... hang tough, it'll pass.

Great losses everyone! SO excited to see them.... you all are doing terrific.

I am off the scale for now -- TOM is MIA at the moment.. hope he shows up soon. I am still on protocol, and plan to stick it out until day 40... only 12 days to go. I did measure, and the inches are still coming off quite well, stall notwithstanding... so I am going to keep it up and hope the scale moves soon too.

Hey Julie. Just wanted to lend you some support about your thyroid situation. With temps that low you are definitely hypo, regardless of what blood tests say. If you want some collected info about hypoT, related conditions, and what to do about them, PM me. I got tired of trying to remember all the stuff I've learned over the years of my long journey with hypo, so I wrote it all down in one place! Good luck--thyroid issues stink!

AWE DARN! I can relate... I also had to drink me some Diet Coke's. Didn't affect my loss any, but sure made my day easier.. That rubber meat patty sounds A W E S O M E!.....

Wow you are cold in AZ? yep get that thyroid checked for sure! Get some sun for me too will ya?...

Wonderful job on the inches Mini, that is what really matters! Hang tight!

You know, I've had headaches off and on throughout this round too. Never noticed them before. Hope you feel better. They did go away, but not sure if it was something I did or didn't do. Bummer though!!
