Good morning to all!

During my first round, I was averaged about 0.5lbs a day loss...please remember that is average! I know we all want big losses, but don't get discouraged!

My mini-stall is broken, I held at 183 for 3 days...but today I'm down 1.4lbs. I'm really excited about getting in to the 170's this week.

good for you I see you are also losing inches that is good when the scale doesn't move you know that you are losing inches.

I like the pellets, much easier to deal with than the drops. My hunger was pretty high last week, but I blame pms. This week, I am less hungry.

I'm on VLCD6 and 1lb down today, so a total of 7.2. The last 3 days were small losses of .4, .4 and .2. I thought in the beginning is when the bigger losses are then slow down after that. But I'll take whatever I can get. I really want something sweet. I was looking in the recipes section and found a recipe for Meringue cookies, but not sure if they are P2 friendly. They sound yummy. This is the recipe:

Meringue Cookies

3 Egg whites
Pinch of cream of tartar
Pinch of salt
1/2 t vanilla (or almond) extract
Splenda to taste (or Stevia)
* cocoa optional

Beat egg whites, tartar, vanilla, and salt until stiff peaks form. Add Splenda. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet lined with foil. Bake in 250 oven for 20 minutes.

So can I eat these in P2 and what would I have to cut out otherwise if it is OK, a protein?

I also think if I could workout I might feel better.
During my first few days I am very short and irritated. I have to say it does get better as I get used to things

I do weights and cardio 4 times a week. My intensity is just decreased as I'm in p2

I might have to try to get some exercise in.

Yesterday I had:
Lunch-3.5oz cottage cheese, 6 cherry tomatoes and 1/2 a grapefruit
Dinner- 1 melba, 3.5 oz. poached swai, cabbage, steamed and 1/2 an apple
1 tbl milk divided into 3 cups of coffee, 64oz of water and 30oz of coffee total

Today will be:
Lunch- P2 Chili and an orange
Dinner- Fish tacos in a lettuce wrap and homemade salsa, melba toast

Ok, days getting worse, all the skinny clothes I ordered at Lands End's big sale and the bathsuits and summer wardrobe for my daughter were all shipped to an old address. Funny thing that our coats also from Lands End and shipped last month were shipped to our current address. After arguing with Lands End for a 1/2 hour I drove to my old house, the guy didn't answer so I left a note. This really sucks. I spent so much money on their big sale and now I'm out all of it if this guy doesn't return it. To top that off, our dog at 3 of my Victoria Secret bras yesterday. I'm seriously going to have to move into a nudist colony as I'm about to be totally out of clothes!

This actually looks P2 friendly, but you would have to cut out a protein...and eat one additional whole egg for the day. In the protocol you can occasionally replace your protein with 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites.

Have you tried a baked apple yet? Baking your apple with stevia, cinnamon and lemon juice can help kill a sweet tooth.

I'm seeing some really nice losses here this morning, way to go everyone!

For those that are all hung up, hang in there it'll go away, you'll see

I'm doing just fine with P3, a little up, a little down, typical and you know, I haven't seen a P3/P4 menu in awhile perhaps I'll start a new one.

Well, it's time to get ready for class so have a great day everybody!

I haven't tried a baked apple yet. I'm not a fan of Cinnamon, the smell makes me nauseous. Hmm So I can eat how ever many cookies that would be still need another whole egg? That sounds pretty good! I was thinking maybe 1 cookie a day. I'll have to make it and see how it turns out!

You should eat them all plus the whole boiled egg in order to replace the protein from one of your meals.

I ate 3 egg whites and one whole egg frequently last round, because my diet is primarily vegetarian.

I lost 41 lbs. on Weight Watchers and gained 18 back in 8 months. Obviously I don't believe that "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."

Way to hang in there!!!!!

A couple of days of staying the same is, usually, rewarded with a "nice" release. Maybe, the jiggle factor is true?

Good Morning!! Well yesterday I caved...actually I was talking to a friend who has been doing HCG longer then I have. The stall combined with stress really got to me. She told me that when she's cheated in the past, it's actually helped to break a stall. So....although I wouldn't recommend this, I did have pizza last night and some snacks...first time I've cheated in the 2 rounds. I gained 1.8 lbs. and didn't feel good physically afterwards (or this morning), but my mind is back in the game and I'm hoping that I'll lose that plus more over the next couple of days to break past the stall I had.

One more week of VLCD before moving to P3. I hope this cheat isn't going to create a problem stabilizing...of course I thought about that this morning AFTER the cheat! This round has just been super hard...fighting mental food cravings the entire way. That with stress sent me into overload.

It seems that *many* of us, who never cheated on other rounds, are having troubles this time around with the cheating. I'll tell you, what everyone here keeps telling me...atleast, you're back here, and didn't "just give up."

Your menu looks pretty good. I know a lot of people don't lose while eating cabbage though. Have you been eating it regularly? There seem to be things that stall each of us and affect us in different ways. Also, check your spices for hidden sugars. I used a garlic salt that had high fructose corn syrup listed in it's ingredients and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing.

Thanks L & F!! I was just reading through the past couple of day's posts...and like you, I'm also usually really anal about keeping on track, calorie counting, etc. I spent most of the weekend at the hospital to be with my grma (was diagnosed over the weekend with pancreotic cancer--hence the stress)...and I either packed my food or went home to grab a bite. Was doing great til last night. But that's the only thing to do is to get back on and not give up. I've come to far and have more ground to treck!! Thank you for the encouragement!

Alright something's not right here. What is this hunger? My stomach is actually growling! I haven't had my lunch meal yet and this is just my first day. I don't think my stomach has growled in years. What is that about? I'm going to eat a bit earlier than I planned.

my tummy growls about 30 min before eting time it helps me to spread out my food into mini meals eating 6x a day instead of 2x a day

Okay, I'm chiming in for the day... down one more pound. This is still load weight, so I'm grumpy. I have to knock off another 1.5 before I'm down to where I was before I started this. I know it will eventually come off, but still. Grrrr.

I had that too Ginja. It's called HUNGER. Are you doing drops? I cut back on my drops by 1 or 2 per dose and it helped with the rumbling in my tummy big time. I cut from 15 to 13 drops and it's perfect for me. Someone wise told me you should NOT be hungry, that's a sign of taking too many drops. Cut back on your next dose and see how you do.

Jenn, could I be taking too many drops/pellets right out of the gate? I started by following the instructions on the bottle (4 pellets 3x per day), but this is only really day 3, but my stomach continues to growl. I'm not feeling hungry per se, but my stomach says otherwise. Should I try cutting back already, or should I ride it out another day or two to see if it's just my system getting used to the new regime?

I know it sounds funny but it really shocked me! My typical morning I get up and have my coffee and don't even think about food for another 4 or 5 hours. So this was a shock I went what the heck is that rumbling!!!

You may be on to something I think I took too many drops last time. Mine are 10 every 8 hours and I think I dribbled an extra one or two from being unsure if I got all 10 in. Oy vey my head

You can always eat your fruit/melba together now and then have your protein and veggie for lunch. No need to suffer - if you are feeling hunger then please eat!!! I agree on the drops too - if my first round mine said 10 drops 3/day. I took 7 drops 3/day and felt great.

NO idea about pellets and I'm still a noob myself. Hopefully someone wiser will come in and help!

You may be on to something I think I took too many drops last time. Mine are 10 every 8 hours and I think I dribbled an extra one or two from being unsure if I got all 10 in. Oy vey my head
Are you doing drops 4x a day then? Again, hopefully someone will come in who knows more than me. My bottle says 10-20 drops 3x a day. I do 13 drops 3x a day. I started with 15 and was ravenous.

I will say that the first 72 hours for me were hard. I'm totally good now and this morning I "forgot" to eat my apple. Oh and for me, I NEED to eat when it's my time. I also eat 6x a day. I eat my apples and melba toast as snacks spread out every two hours in between meals. Really helps me but YMMV.

I used a garlic salt that had high fructose corn syrup listed in it's ingredients and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing.
Last time I had cabbage I had a 2 pound loss, so who knows? It hasn't seemed to stall me as of yet. I'm honestly thinking of giving up the coffee all together and see if that helps any. Maybe the coffee with the milk and sweetner is my downfall.

I did check all my spices. I'm not using an spice blends that are premixed- I do it all myself. I checked the broths I use (again the ones I used last night were homemade) and that's not it.

As for exercise I do get some exercise daily already. We have a farm so I'm tromping through the snow to the barn and taking care of critters, I have 2 young children who I pull on a sled to the barn and chase around the house. I work with 3-5 year olds and dance and do recreation time with them every day. I was thinking that adding too much more exercise would be hurtful, however tonight I'm going to try some yoga. Maybe it's all the stress (I forget the name of the stress hormone, starts with a C) that's keeping my numbers up?

Ok, on the clothing front, the 54 year old bachelor has returned one package to Lands End and the other two are out in limbo. I begged him to call me if they arrive there and I'll pick them up. Its just frustrating as I've placed to many orders with them since we moved and NEVER had this happen!
