Hi! Just checking in, I'm a newbie but this is week two. Getting a little frustrated, the last four days have been up - down - up -down. Today is up.

I never used to weigh myself daily, so this is getting frustrating!

Anyone mind if I jump in the pool?
Today is VLCD2 for me. And I'm finally feeling almost 'normal' after that day and a half of loading. I quit loading early because I was just in too much pain - I sort of figured that was counterproductive, that if my body was screaming so loudly, I should knock it off, LOL.

I'm down 5 pounds from yesterday (all of it load weight, thank the gods), and I'm feeling decent enough that I did my workout like normal this morning too. So yay to that!

I'll tell you though, all of a sudden I'm finding things TOO sweet. I'd been low carbing before starting this, so I know my tastebuds had readjusted (I went from 4 packets to three packets of splenda in my giant coffee because 4 was too sweet), but now the three packets makes it taste like syrup. GROSS. Like, I'm actually considering dumping this and suffering a caffeine withdrawal headache rather than finish it. Anyone else notice their tastes shift once they started hhcg?

Everyone is doing such an awesome job. WOO HOO! I'm green with envy!

I was going to make Friday my last day of drops (for a total of 26 vlcd's), but I think I only have it in me to do a couple more days. I'm just drained! I'm down 17 pounds as of this morning which is great, but I can't help but wish it was 20 (like it was my first round). I've had such small losses the past week which makes it difficult to stay on plan. I've almost cheated so many times! I figure it's better to be safe and stop the drops rather than continue on and risk cheating.

I will take a week off and eat P3 style, then I have a planned interruption scheduled for next week (Wed-Mon) and then I'll be back on P2 for 10 additional days to (hopefully) get off whatever I've gained on my interruption.

Congrats again, ladies. Everyone is doing so great!

Lacey, I'm feeling fine, even for having done my workout this morning. In fact, no hunger at all, and I did the workout on an empty stomach (I usually drink my morning coffee first so I'm awake enough that I don't drop a dumbbell on my foot!)
I just dumped out my coffee (I just couldn't take it, too nasty sweet), and decided to have lunch a half-hour early to try to trick my brain into forgetting about the caffeine

good gravy, i forgot how when i'm on hcg water just goes straight through me! i'm actually drinking a little less than i have been recently (i'm up to 2L so far today, recently i've been drinking at least 3L most days) but i'm going to the bathroom soooo much more.

I haven't weighed in yet today, but I'm crampy so TOM is almost here. I don't usually lose until TOM passes, lucky for me...I have short, short periods (3 days max).

The scale I'm using now is one that consistently weighed me 2lbs heavier than the scale I used last round. So, I suspect I'm actually lower than I've been recording for this round. However, to keep it simple...I'm just sticking with the numbers on this one.

I didn't brown mine just threw it all in the crock pot
I didn't have any stewed tomatoes so after it was done I poureed on some salsa and cooked it for 1 more hour

Nope you should be fine. While one should follow the directions, there are some times where we slip. And that is perfectly fine too!! I sometimes forget to do my 3rd dose and it hasn't killed me yet

I have the worse headache and this afternoon my eyes have had spots in front of them. I also feel a little icky to my stomach. I normally only get this way then I don't eat enough. Anyone ever experience this? If I let it go too long this leads to tunnel hearing and passing out. I don't have any food on me so I drank some coffee. I really don't feel hungry.

I did go a little off today and had cottage cheese and tomoatoes and a 1/2 a grapefruit for lunch. No breadstick, but I havn't been eating that anyway. Think I need to up my calories a little?

Hi Everyone!! I'm new to this forum. I've read a few different forums and liked this one a lot. So I would love to become a part of it.

Today is VLCD5 for me and I'm down 6.2lbs. I loaded for 2 days, I thought I didn't do a good job of it. I mostly ate Cream of Crab soup (homemade) and chicken alfredo. Not much other junk food. I guess there was a ton of fat in there though. I've had zero hunger since I started and no headaches (i'm prone to constant headaches).

I did go to a Chinese place yesterday and ate their food, thankfully no gain and still a .2 loss.

I just ate dinner (grilled chicken and baked tomato) and I feel so full. I just weighed myself and it was up 3 pounds from this morning. I know weight varies throughout the day, but I admit it made me feel awful. How can less then 500 calories a day make it go up that much? I hope it's the 100oz of water I drank .

My starting weight was 248.2, this morning I was 242. My goal is to do 2 round by the end of May and lose 40-50 pounds, and hopefully for from a size 18 to a 12/14. A friend of mine is getting married and I would love to buy myself a dress that has no "X" or "W" on the size tag.

I added a few shakes of tabasco to my cabbage soup tonight. Ahhh, Im in heaven!! I can't believe I hadn't tried it all this time.
