How much water does protocol say we should drink everyday? And then how much does everyone actually drink daily?

Yesterday went okay with loading, but of course I gained 2.8 pounds as of this morning. I had chicken fried steak with gravy last night. wow...I haven't had that in years! haha. I've done okay today with loading, but still have more to eat. Not sure what I'm going to eat for dinner. I just hope all this eating pays off. haha. I have a bit of a headache today and I definitely felt somewhat nauseous last night.
Does everyone here do the loading days, can you really tell a difference in your body with loading or not loading? What's the average weight gain post load?
2 liters. I drink 120oz and usually 3 herbal teas and 1-2 cups of coffee

Loading is necessary. Most have the load weight off plus some by the 4th day. Some have gained 10 pounds loading! I gained over 6. Enjoy it!

I drink close to 2 gallons of water, if you count the herbal tea that I drink. But then I'm crazy that way...

Everything I've read says to not be hungry your first week, you need to load and load well on fats.

I gained 3.7 pounds on a low carb, high fat load.

I see you're on your 4th round I think, how many days do you usually go each round?
I'm just starting out on my first round...still loading.
My first round I did 40 days, 2nd round I think 35, and 3rd round I think was like 26. I'm about day 29vlc right now. Down another .8 to 179 even. But I weighed really late so I probably will stay the same or even bobble up a bit tomorrow when I weigh early. So I'm only 2 pounds from my minigoal for this round. I may keep on past that, depending - up to the 40 days total. I really REALLY want to get to the 90-lb lost mark, which as you can see is 177. A pound or two past that for cushion would be awesome. I originally wanted to get to 100 pounds lost, but I gained so dang much loading, and I've stalled out so much this round, it won't be possible.

Okay you guys....I think I went a little ridiculous today on loading! LOL This is what I ate today:
Breakfast: 2 and a half kolaches, 2 donuts, grande white chocolate mocha from starbucks
Lunch: 2 pieces of pizza and a philly cheese steak sandwich
dinner: Bowl of captain crunch cereal and peanut butter toast and a couple of bites of chocolate cake.

Wow....I'm embarrassed! hahaha I really should have probably eaten a little better. More fatty stuff I guess. Less carbs. Oh well.
I think I went a little crazy today because I honestly haven't eaten stuff like this in about 8 months! I have at least lost 35 pounds since last August doing low carb.

I cooked my lunch for a few days this week. I'm really looking forward to starting the vlcd1 and seeing some results. :-) Hope everyone has a great week this week!!

When I load, I try to keep it high fat, but I eat what I want! Sugar, carbs and fat in various forms (fav: fried chicken & cheeseburgers). Your diet for the day definitely contained fat- when are you starting vlcd? If you are worried about not getting enough fat in today head to the kitchen and eat some cheese, peanut butter and bacon GL!!

Yes, I do. Once or twice I've had the 2 eggs instead of one egg and 3 additional whites. Other than that, no variation. I often leave out melba/grissini, in fact, hardly ever have them. I sometimes leave out one fruit. I measure my protein very carefully. I do eat a lot of beef, and that makes some people stall, but it doesn't me. (unless I would get better results and I wouldn't know it, LOL). I sometimes use fat-free cottage-cheese also, but just the very small amount. I haven't done that yet on this round. I wasn't sure if on R3 it caused slow downs.

oh, also my 3rd round, I did try the chocolate de-lite. I measured ketones and everything, and appeared to be burning more ketones with that and a few macadamia nuts -- but I had a hard time maintaining this time, as opposed to after R2 - and so I decided if that might be the variable, I wasn't going to do that again. So back to strict protocol for me.

I've only got one week left, and 2-4 pounds left to lose, 2 to get to my mini-goal, and I'd like an additional pound or 2 for buffer. So we'll see!
