WHat made it finally "click" for you?
I am having a terrible time sticking to this protocol, or even getting motivated to try again, even though I have health problems directly related to the way I eat and the extra weight.
What finally made you be able to make the decision and stick with it? I need help! |

Way too much time on my hands!

I reached a crisis weight. I had been whining about how my clothes weren't fitting right and how I just had to do something. I had pretty much gone through all of the other 'diets' I was comfortable doing. Regardless of how true I stayed to the 'diets', nothing worked.
Finally I hit an unacceptable weight and decided that I had to go on faith and at least try hcg. The results were immediate. I've been mindful to stay 'realistically optimistic' about my future progress. I try not to get starry-eyed over other folks' awesome losses, and instead I remember that I'm plugging along losing much better than I could on any other plan. That, plus I have some really cute clothes I want to wear again. ![]() and I want to be skinnier than that girl I don't like at the Sunday Brunch joint

I was tired of being fat, unhealthy and very unhappy. I found that I would make up excuses not to go out in public other than to work and back, because of the way that I looked. I`ve tried everything over the years to lose weight, but Atkins seemed so different and radical from everything else that I ever tried or had been taught...that really intrigued me. I immediately read the book and it was as if a light bulb had gone off in my head, there has been no turning back for me. My first forty years were spent either eating whatever I wanted or starving on low calorie, low fat plans. I`m hoping my next forty will be spent being as healthy and happy as I feel right now living the Atkins life style. Notice I said life style...I don`t think of it as a diet, because diets in my experience are doomed to fail.

I had gone through a long phase where I just wore dresses (more comfy) only to realize that my pants didn't fit. Even my "fat pants" (the ones I bought after having my son) were tight. I jumped on the scale and realized I'd gained 20#s. I also saw a full body shot of myself and was grossed out. I was depressed and had been emotionally eating for a long while. I wanted to look good and feel good about myself. My GF was doing hHCG, so I got the RX and away we go!! 20#s down last round, hopefully 20 more to go!!

In my 20's, I didn't want the scale to read over 150. In my 30's, I didn't want the scale to read over 160. Now into my 40's, I have been struggling to keep my weight in the 170's. No matter what I did--low carb, no carb, low fat, low calorie--nothing worked. The last few years I have been on the great "thyroid/adrenal" journey. Despite getting optimized on thyroid and adrenal meds, I had put on even MORE weight. When I finally bumped over the dreaded 200 mark, I decided to give hHCG a try. As of this morning, I am into the 190's again. I've still got 55 to go before stopping but at least it's working!!!

Last September I went to a new doctor for a kidney infection. When I met with her for a f/u she had all of my labs back. They were so bad that she told me that she wanted to put me on all kinds of medication and that if I didn't lower my cholesterol, blood pressure etc that she predicted that I would have a stroke within 5 years!
Both of my parents died following strokes. When I told her I had tried everything short of bariatric surgery she suggested Hcg. That was 40 pounds ago. All of my labs and my blood pressure is now normal. Dr. Nisha and Hcg saved my life. |

Not sure. I'd lost the majority of my weight through Atkins and live LC. But I could never lose the last 30lbs or so. I tried all kinds of combinations of exercise and diet (not back to high carb though!).
A friend lost 20lbs on hHCG and said it was great! I read up (a lot) and liked what it said. I also liked that the bottle I bought was $40, and it was only a 3 week commitment/sacrifice. What really made it click? Losing a lb a day!! I couldn't believe that first week!! Not sure I could have managed that hunger w/o the scale rewarding me daily!! Now, I'm a bit more rogue (cream in my coffee, slightly larger protein portions, no fruit/bread) and just getting greedy on the scale. Shooting for 149lbs so I'll have a bit of cushion. Never thought I'd hit 159, let alone 155, so I'm thrilled. If you can find the willpower to stick with it for a month, you'll be so glad you did!!

I work full-time and am going to college full-time to finally get my bachelors degree (at the age of 44). With the stress of school and studying all the time, I was eating, eating, eating!! And I was packing on the weight. I tried to justify it by saying I would start a diet when I was done with school (which is this May).
Last August a friend was telling me about HHCG, and I decided to give it a try. My new mindset was that I wanted to be thin when I finished school...so that I would have a whole new life ahead of me. I remember standing in line at our local health store when I purchased that first bottle of HCG...thinking yeah right...another diet attempt..like this is really going to work. Well I have been amazed since starting this plan. 40 lbs. gone and 20 lbs til goal. I did an extra long P4 (3 months) to get through the holidays...and I have complete faith that when I'm done with school in May, I will be at goal. LIFE IS GOOD!! As I type this I'm on the verge of tears. I had not been below 200 lbs. since I had my daughter at the age of 23. I've always struggled with weight. I will finally be free of the bondage that's tied me down for 20+ years. Yes I know that I will always have to stay in control of what I eat, but it is worth it!

I had been on every diet, it seemed, that there ever was. I had been heavy my entire adult life, and was never thin as a teen either....I always had meat on my bones, so to say! I have always been able to lose weight, and have yo-yo dieted all my life, but was never able to keep it off. As soon as I got off a plan, I would not maintain my weight and would balloon up again. After 25 years of all that, I was contemplating weight loss surgery out of my own pocket. Had I been in the lower 48, I would have done it, too, but was in Alaska and it was just way too expensive there. After I moved and settled in the lower 48 again, I had heard of HCG, but for a long time didn't try it. Then my sister had read about it in a magazine and asked me if I had heard of it because it produced fantastic results, so I started researching. We both started together and are still on it 7 months later! We just decided to give it 7 days, and if we had not lost weight, maybe it wasn't for us. I gave it my 100%, loaded with yummy Atkins style eating of fats, protein, and yummy things I would miss while on protocol, and lost 9.2 pounds in my first 7 days, my sister lost 13 pounds! Then I gave it another 7 days and lost 5.5 pounds....that's when I KNEW HCG was the answer for me! It was AMAZING to me that I got on the scale and lost weight every single day (some more than others, obviously), but the scale was continuously moving DOWN!
I went on to lose 27 pounds in 33 days on my first round of Hhcg. I am now on my 5th round (I cycle), and down 90 pounds since July 6!

After 25 years of being close to 300 lbs I finally got tired of disappointing myself, my husband, my daughter and my family. It got to the point where I couldnt even walk around the grocery store without being tired.
THAT was when I KNEW I had to do something for me and my entire family. I saw a video of me walking with my Mom with these black shorts and my stark white legs and Moo-Moo tent shirt and I cried. It was then I knew I needed to lose weight. |
