Adding fats in P3

Ok for those of you that entered P3 how soon did you add back the fats?

I've read and been told to add back fats ASAP, but I found that this made me gain. Butter was ok with me, but eggs and some nuts ( although both settled after a while) made me gain yet despite mentioning this I was still told to eat as much good fats as possible.

This round I don't plan on adding them back quite so early like I did in R1. R2 I'm just going to double up for a few days on protein cooking the meats ( fish and chicken) in good fats and work my way up from there.

Thoughts?

I added butter in with my eggs, had cream in my coffee, had strawberries with whipping cream, I added in cheese later in the week, had fattier cuts of meat.

So you added the fats back the first day of P3 or wait later that first week?

I added in the butter and cream the 1st day of P3 and the cheese later in the week because people say it could cause you to gain right away and I wanted to be able to stay within my 2 pound window.

Interesting....I'm thinking I might add eggs cooked in butter back the first day back. Cheese I never really added back. I could eat carbs but not cheese, weird.

Try sauteing your veges in coconut oil it's a wonderful thing. You may also want to try adding a little into your coffee, delicious!

I went a little crazy on P3 on my last round. Eggs, cheese, nuts, fat, whipped cream, you name it. And 3 days in I had to do a steak day.

Not this time. I plan to increase my protein and fat but I'm not going to go crazy with the almond flour goodies for another week, I think it was just too much at once.

I add butter to my veggies and full fat (no sugar) salad dressings as well as fattier meats like chicken thighs, hamburger, pork. I also eat half an avocado a day typically. I don't drink coffee on a regular basis, but if I had an iced coffee I had HWC. This round I am going to try and stay away from nuts for at least a week.

This is what I'm worried about I got a alittle happy with the eggs and nuts and don't want to repeat the same mistakes. I also plan the same with the protein.

I just feel kind of iffy adding back so many fats if my weight goes up.
