How much have you lost this week, and are you on P3? My gosh...a 3 hour commute? What do you do? Drive to Chicago, from Indiana, for your work?

Added pressure, but, also incentive, to do this...and keep it off: After my Mom had seen me, after one round, at Christmas (We live 9 hours apart)...She started hHcg. Her VLCD #1 is today. My sister is REALLY overweight, and just found out that she has Diabetes. So, for her Birthday, I sent her favorite cologne (something that is not diet related ), a bottle of hHcg, and ordered her a new scale, and a food scale. Hopefully, she does this...I'm worried about her health...due to her weight. Soooo, I guess that "I" am the family "role-model." Ohhhh gosh!!!!

Have any of you lost from one side, and not the other? My right inner thigh is Waaaayyyyy smaller than my left. It looks weird. Hopefully, this round attacks the left side.

Nice feeling right?

Woke up to 3.3 lbs gone! I feel less bloated for sure! I only commute one day/week. The rest I work from home so today, I plan on drinking hot tea in my fancy little tea cup thing from Teavana and getting into the tea I have on hand.

I'm using drops - dh is doing this with me for what reason I have no idea - he needs to lose maybe 10 lbs. So he's doing a short round probably, we'll see. Anywho, we had opened one bottle and then he got called into work and I grabbed a new bottle for myself. The one he had tingled under my tongue. The one I'm using now does not, or maybe I'm used to it? Or maybe it's not a good bottle? I'll try his today and see if it tingles again and if so, I'll grab another bottle.

Good Morning!! Just checking in....the scales stayed the same for me, but I was expecting that. I'm at the every-other-day loss pattern now like I was in R1.

Just reading through everyone's posts from yesterday. I cannot wait for my coffee with heavy cream in it!! I've been drinking flavored coffee sweetened with stevia, but I miss my cream! And I never used cream in my coffee until P3 in my first round. Actually, I never drank much coffee until I started HCG. I was a HUGE diet coke drinker...rarely drank any water--but always had a diet coke in my hand. Now I always have water in my hand. I think back on the toll that probably took on my body with all of those chemicals from the DC. What was I thinking??

I'm dreaming of P3...next Monday will be my 23rd day on P2. I'm focused on that for now and will take it day by day from then on as to how long I stay on P2 this round. I'll be flying to the east coast on business the 1st week of February, so I'm either going to do a planned interruption or move on into P3 that week. I'm really hoping to get down into the 170's before then.

Have a great day everyone!!

I should have read all the posts before posting. lol

I lost kind of funny on my first round, but it evened out during P3. I also lost a few more inches during P3 even though my weight stabelized. (sp?)

I lost 3 pounds in the last week, but only 1 1/2 pounds last. Who knows, total lost this round is 17 pounds, 23 on the last round.

Morning all!

I had a decent loss on the scale today (-3.8) and I'm feeling a big sigh of relief that I've only got another 2 pounds to get my loading weight off! I can't believe I gained 8 pounds loading! I did eat good though!

I've low-carbed for over 7 years prior to this and I find it difficult to eat the breadstick and the fruit since its been so off limits in my former woe, lol. Even Dh keeps asking over and over if it really is ok to eat the breadstick and fruit. I've found that for DH we need to stick to some greens at one meal/day as he's looking at the volume of food and not the calories. Last night I went to serve him up a bowl of P2 chili and an apple and 1 breadstick and he asked me where the rest of the food was. He loved the ground beef and cabbage so I think I'm going to start serving that every other day (we're cabbage lovers) and perhaps a taco salad or buffalo chicken salad on the other days. I know when I show him the measly bag of shrimp he's allowed to eat he's going to laugh hysterically!

Good to see all the losses today. I'm anxious to see what tomorrow brings in terms of my weightloss. I wanted to badly to be at goal at the end of this round but being realistic I don't see that happening. I've decided to shoot for being at 159 which would be a 20 pound loss while secretly keeping my fingers crossed that I can make it to 155.

YvetteMarie- I'm about 2 hours west of you! I take the South Shore to Chicago with my kids at least 2x a year. I love Chicago!

michlady- Diet Coke used to be my weakness, I used to drink 2-3 large ones from McDonalds/day. I gave it up last year for lent. Now everytime I drink it I get horribly bloated and can't stop burping. I miss it though!

And to all my heavy cream in coffee drinkers (and coconut oil ) I had the most wonderful dream last night that I woke up on the 1st day of p-3. I was 30 pounds lighter and a shirtless hunk (not my dh, haha) served me a huge mug of heavily creamed coffee. Ahhh, didn't want to wake up!

Great job!!

The tingling usually indicates alcohol in the drops. One brand that I used did not have alcohol, two brands did. I prefer the alcohol ones. They seem to work better for me.

Ok, so my body is so confusing. Down 2.8 lbs today from yesterday. Still no TOM (about a week overdue ) and my ankle is still swollen. Might try to find a water pill somewhere to try to get this fluid off my ankle.

Have a great day everyone!!

I'm not positive but I thought that men were allowed more calories??? Something like 800/day instead of 500. I could be wrong but I thought I remembered reading that somewhere. Not only will he lose faster but he'll probably be able to eat more food - MEN My DH just cuts out potato chips and can lose 10 pounds

Nope. They get the same 500 calories like the rest of us women folk!

Today is VLCD10 for me and I am down 19.4 I think so far...mostly water I am confident as I was really puffy when I started.

one way to make the shrimp or seafood look like a larger amount is
1. cook shrimp and place in a large salad
2. make the seafood and tomato soup (see recipe thread)
3. chop shrimp and add to a cabbage 'stirfry'

Oh weight loss for today another .2 lbs so 5.1 in 7 days

Day one is here of VLC......I can do this! My loading looks like only about 2.5 pounds but that doesn't count the 3 pound gain at the buffet the day before I started! It actually is about 5 but I am ready to get this going. Already have the growlies but I can forge through! Chili and chicken is waiting to fill the menu......sounds pretty good

I'm not a huge poster but I will try at least every morning to mark my walk with Hhcg. Looking forward to getting to know you all better and see good losses like I see in here!

This VLCD2 and I'm down 1.4lbs, that takes me right back to my pre-load weight...still above ldw from the previous round...but not worried because it will be smooth sailing by next week.

Could one bottle have alcohol base and the other not?

I am finally on VLCD1. Took forever and several false starts and stops on load days, and still not terribly happy with my load days, But they are gunna have to do.

I am at 171.4 so up exactly 5 pounds from LDW. (I think LD was dec 15)

I am not starting in a good place, physically or mentally but I AM starting (depressed, stressed and sinus infection) byt I think the structuer, lack of carbs and increase in water will help these issues. I really really have to get up and get to the store today, I have grapefruit, apples, beef and cabbage and frozen strawberries but I really need to get some chicken, spinach and other stuff.

It's weird but I always feel better on the hcg! I think having structure will lift you especially once you start dropping the pounds again. Take it day by day - hope you start to feel better

I definitely feel great on the HCG!! I do feel that happy feeling that Dr. S describes in Pounds and Inches. Wish I could take that throughout all the phases of this plan.

Hi everyone,
Great job on the losses!

Peggy, you aren't kidding that HCG drops give you that Happy Feeling! I started drops this morning (Load Day 1) and I am happily cleaning my house like an energizer bunny. I haven't wanted to do anything for weeks! Wow! I'm hoping it works as well on the hunger.

I am actually taking the RX injections, but i have heard people on the homeopathic have had similar results as well. YES, lots of energy...I am up early and can't fall asleep as easily at night, but once asleep....I sleep deeply and better I think! Good luck on your round! This works!
