Load Day #1.. and ?'s

Hi ! After about a week and a half of Induction I decided to try HCG... I was at the local health food store yesterday and low and behold they had HCG drops.... I had read some of your posts and thought that I'd give it a try
The drops that I bought are e-HCG AnuMed-Intl.

I am sure that I will have alot of questions along the way..... right now I am wondering about "beauty products". What shampoo, conditioner, lotions- both face and body do you use ????? Also, what make-up and lip products ? I must say good bye to my beloved Burt's Bees for now..... is there any "tingly" lip product out there without oil ?

Thank you for all of your help and expertise

-Mo

MO,
Hi Mo, I bought mine at a healthfood store also and got the same brand!! And a book came with it called, "e-HCG the Special Diet" . So reading the book it says the 3 phases in the E-HCG dieting process:
1) 2 days gorging on food
2) The Actual 500 Very Low Calorie Diet
3) The Maintenance Phase whent he Diet is over
So, now my question is this: it shows the exerpt from Dr. Simeons' Manuscripts, "pounds and inches" showing the original 500 VLCD, then the maintain Phase II? Then there are the suggested meals in the back of the book labeled VCLD and LCD! Are these meals for phase II or what? I am having trouble understanding this. and today is my first day on the 500 cal diet! Am pretty hungry right now, not starved though which is good~!!
It was all jsut a little bit confusing to me that is all and was hoping you or someone could help!

grandma-- there are different plans out there.
Most of the lingo you'll find on this forum are from Simeons Protocol or closely related ways.

WHAT WE CALL P2
2 days loading--eat all you want, emphasize fats and proteins. Take your hcg.
Then you do about 3 to 6 weeks of VLCD (very low calorie diet, 500 calories a day, consisting of 2 meals of protein/veggie/starch/fruit)
Then you stop taking drops and eat the same way for 2 days for homeopathic hcg or 3 days for the prescription kind.

WHAT WE CALL P3 comes next.
You eat low calories (LCD) (1500 or so, no starch. no sugar) for 3 weeks without taking hcg.

Then you either do it all over again or start maintaining while adding starch and sugar back into your diet. Maintaining with all types of foods is what we call P4. Or we just call it DONE. lol

P1 is what some people do from another guy's idea of hcg. It's a cleansing/detox stage. YOu won't see many posts about that here.

Emel;
Thanks, but what I am trying to find out is about the suggested meals on page 9 of that booklet. they look wonderful, I just didn't know if I was allowed to be eating them right now! I had my first 500 cal meal today for lunch! 4oz boiled chicken, 1 tomatoe and 1 handful of strawberries and 1 melba toast. Now the meals in this book look a lot better than what I had for lunch is why I am asking when I can eat them? LOL Will be a lot more satisfying!

hHCG is homeopathic HCG. ( The first h stands for homeopathic)
THere's also prescription HCG which is not homeopathic and requires a prescription.

E-hcg is homeopathic. That being said, it doesn't matter much what kind it is. The difference is that your product came with a different meal plan and recipe book than mine did.

Since you had 4 oz chicken, you're on a different plan than I'm on. I get 3.5 oz.
I've seen some plans that allow a little more protein and more options for vegetables and fruits. I don't know much about those plans.
All I can suggest is that you use only the recipes that abide by the rules of your plan. If a recipe calls for a food not included on your plan, or if it calls for an allowed food in a higher quantity than your plan allows, it is intended for a later phase. For example, my plan says I cannot have two different vegetables in the same meal, so I cannot use a recipe that tells me to cook spinach and asparagus together. I'm allowed 1 tbl milk a day, so I can't use a recipe that calls for adding 2 Tbl of cream.
As I said, there are several diet plans out there, so I'm not sure what your book says.

Thanks a lot!!!And it sounds like the only difference in our plans is the amouint of protein! Everything else you mentioned is same for me! so then I gues for the first 21 or so days I will be eating my chicken, beef, and fish( 100grams)4oz, only one type of veggie and one fruit with lunch and dinner. Alos can notmix the veggies either. So, I guess these wonderful meal suggestiuons in the back of the book that say VLCD and LCD on them are in the next phase of the diet. Thank you very much Emel! You helped me out a lot!!
