Exercise and hhcg
So, I'm still researching some of the finer points about this regimen, while I'm awaiting my pellets to arrive.
My question is - do/did any of you exercise while doing the hhcg? I know Simeons said to not start (if you don't already), and if you already do, that it's fine to continue. I'm just curious to see what others were doing, and if they've found it to be a hindrance or a help. FWIW, I'm not planning on stopping my workouts, since I need to rehab a bad knee and shoulder. But it would be nice to know what to expect. I realize all of this is a YMMV issue, but any anecdotal evidence is helpful, particularly when it comes to a "oh, thank the gods i'm not alone" sort of deal. thanks gang!

It seems to be very YMMV. Speaking for myself, I am a veteran exerciser and have pushed myself in the gym for years, but decided to take a break while on HHCG P2 (the 500 calorie phase). I made that decision chiefly because in the past when I have exercised while dieting it interfered with my losses and made me hungrier. Now that I am halfway into P2 I can't imagine being able to do anything strenuous at all on this part of the plan. I like to clean my house and it feels good to get out and about doing errands and such, but whenever I exert myself beyond normal everyday activities, I get tired quickly.
There are others, however, who seem to be running and exerting themselves with weight training, etc. I am not sure if they are only doing the 500 calories, though. They may be eating a bit more. You will get many differing opinions on this, I'm sure! Best of luck to you! |
