stabilized at higher weight

Ok so I know technically were supposed to stabilize within the 2# weight limit, however my body is not so "technical." I stabilized at about 6# from LDW. So I'm wondering if anyone else stabilized at a weight higher than 2#?

I am pretty sure there were other people who stabilized higher then the 2 pounds, someone posted here that they had problems staying in the 2 pound window and figured their body just wanted to be at a higher weight to stabilize.

OH, yes!! My LDW is 117.8 but this P4 I have been going back and forth between 120 and 122. So there are those that stabilize higher than that 2 lb window. Count me as one!!!

I have done 3 rounds thus far and have stabilized exactly 5 lbs above LDW each P3. I was so frustrated at first but have just come to realize I can count on my body to do the same thing every time.

I just wanted to know if I was alone.

I responded to a similar thread about going "crazy" trying to stabilize at that weight. It would be nice to stabilize there, but I don't want to miss out on life and constantly worry about results the next morning.

How long are we supposed to stabilize for before doing another round? Does P3 count as stabilization or are we talking about beyond P3?

During P3, you stay within your "window" (+2lbs/-2lbs from your LDW), correcting your weight if you go above or below those points. At some point during this phase, you should find a weight where your body just seems to either stay put or return to easily. IMO, you should stay in P3 until that happens and move to P4 after.

Jeez, I just reread your question and realized I didn't answer it. I don't know that there is a time period. IMO (again), I think you just know when you are stable. Your eating doesn't cause big swings in your weight, etc. The real test is P4, when you eat something like pizza and the next day, no change.

R1: I stabilized right at LDW. No correction days. Easy peasy!
R2: Not so much! I too stabilized 6lbs over LDW, due to medication I was taking.

Both times I was super stable. Fingers crossed for my R3. Final round!

P3 is part of the stabilization process, if you weight doesn't fluctuate randomly then you can go to P4, and continue the same process. The time period in which stabilization occurs varies though. Minimum 3 weeks per phase, but I've had to wait longer between each phase. Don't want to blow my hard work.

Well here's hopping I have a reverse effect with my rounds. Either way as long as the inches stay off I'm ok with it.

Good luck on your final round.
