Stats: 203(c.2003)/170(started HCG)/162/145
WOE: HCG homeopathic drops
Start Date: January 2011
Here are my revised stats:

P2D1 (loading): 169.4
P2D2 (loading): 170.0
P2D3 (VLCD 1): 170.8
P2D4 (VLCD 2): 168.6
P2D5 (VLCD 3): 167.4
P2D6 (VLCD 4): 165.8 *hunger reduced and very energetic!
P2D7 (VLCD 5): 165.2
P2D7 (VLCD 6): 165.8 (+.6 TOM)

I actually gained .6 lb. since yesterday! LOL Oh well, that's what TOM will do for you. I don't care though. I am feeling better than ever in my whole life, TOM or not! I seriously wonder if I actually did starve to death on the 3rd day and have moved on to another plane of existence and just don't realize it yet!

Mini, I hear what you are saying about the lack of food interest. I ate a small cucumber for breakfast as I had some errands to do this morning. Then I came back at noon to have my lunch. I ate the chicken breast but didn't have time to cut up any more veggies and now I realize I completely forgot about the breadstick! That is so weird for me as it's usually my favorite part. I do still get hungry though. I had to go back out to a class for a couple of hours and when I came back at 3 tummy was rumbling. So I ate my apple from lunch. I feel like the amount of food is just right for me. I never feel like OMG I need more to eat.

The thing is, I think you have to get past that awful hunger phase in order to get to this phase and the hunger phase is longer/shorter for some people. Not sure why, though.

Lucky -- that's fantastic, and I can confirm that you aren't dead, unless you can post from the aether! Glad you are feeling so great!

I never had a hungry phase, but it seems that a lot of people do. Great advice about just riding it through.

I get little moments of physically feeling hungry, but I have no desire to do anything about it.... so strange.

Whatever... I'll take it! I think I am going to ride this phase out (with two minor interruptions that I can't avoid, coming up in the next week or so) for 40 days, or until I hit 105 lbs, whichever comes first.

Lucky - you are still doing awesome and you will get that gain right off!

Jenifer - I too get my HCG from the same place, it is pricey and hear it's much cheaper other places. May have to try a different vendor for my drops.

I too feel like I have to shove food down my throat today! Nothing sounds good at all, but it's okay, because I'm not that hungry!

Hi everyone - just popping in. It's been a busy place today and I'm sure I'll miss commenting to someone so I'm sorry in advance!

MooMoo-welcome! Congratulations on the loss. We are about the same - this morning I weighed in and I was down .9 pounds to a total of 8.8.

LowCarbPA I use Mediral and am having success with them.

Jacque and turkeywings (and anyone I missed), good job for being strong in a tough eating situation. I don't know how you did it!

Congratulations to all who had weight loss success. To those who didn't and are having a rough time, hang in there! It is so worth it.

"This is The Time of My Life" was on the radio when I was driving home yesterday (the American Idol winner's song) and I personalized it and it really hit home. There is a line that says something like "standing on the edge getting ready to run" and I FELT THAT! I'm so excited and really belive I can win this war this year.

I post on other HCG threads so you may see parts of this again. Sorry for the repetition.

Whooohooo Gibby! I am so happy for you!

I bounced back up a bit to 116.8.... hmmm..... Only got 3 hours of sleep, though, and it is really cold here, so maybe my poor body is hanging on for dear life to any insulation! I am surprisingly non-plussed by the whole thing...the overall trend is down, and that is what matters.

Wishing you all a good day... will check in later.

That is good that you are getting prepared it makes it alot easier when you have things in order, know what food you are going to make and getting rid of all the temptations.

WOW Mini, that is GREAT!!!

Back up the .2 I lost yesterday. My body really likes 148.

Woke up, ate 1/2 grapefruit and did a 30 minute walk. This is the first time I've exercised in ages and I hope it doesn't harm me from losing weight. I feel like I need to do it though.

Congrats to all.

What are you eating today?

Hi Ladies! May I join you, although I am not technically a newbie? You all seem like a fun, positive group.

History: I lost 37 pounds last year (started in March) on HCG during 4 rounds and I have never been so successful in all my life in losing weight. By not following Protocol and being careless, I gained 11 pounds back over the holidays. I am ready to get back on the wagon and lose the rest of my weight this year, because I know it works! For the first time in my life I KNOW I can and will do it!

I'm on day 2 of loading, so start VLCD tomorrow. I was bad on drinking the water in the past, so I will make that change this time around. Otherwise, I was a strict, by the book Protocol gal.

Good luck to everyone. You all are doing great.

Wow, down 1.8 from yesterday. Goodbye TOM weight plus some more. Good riddance! Still feeling fine today, although earlier my legs felt kind of weird, like they were halfway asleep, kind of weak. I ate lunch and took my vitamins and it seems to be subsiding. Still feeling great psychologically. It's snowing here so I am just kind of kicking back and taking the day off.

Welcome aboard, Mauigal! Glad to have you, and great job getting back on track.

Lucky -- fabulous loss for the day! You are rockin' right along.

Great job, everone! This is a bit of a rollercoaster ride, I must say... but we are all doing a great job by not giving up! You guys are the best

Welcome, welcome Mauigal..the more the merrier...

Awesome job Lucky..

sorry to drop in late but had family over for a BBQ and my hubby made RIBS! Ugh..but he grilled my chicken breast over mesquite chips and it was nummmy..

Here's my stats that I should've posted this morning:

P2 Day 1 (load) 191.4
P2 Day 2 (load) 188.6 P2 Day 3 (VLCday1) 187.4
P2 Day 4 (VLCday2) 186.2
P2 Day 5 (VLCday3) 184.6
P2 Day 6 (VLCday4) 184.0
p2 Day 7 (VLCday5) 182.6
p2 Day 8 (VLC day 6) 182.4

That's only a .2 loss, but a loss is a loss, right? Ate really clean today and now just enjoying some tea because I've already had dinner...may go to bed early so I don't have any temptations later!

Hi everyone I am new to this site. I have been interested in the HCG diet for a while now & finally got up the courage to make an appointment with a doctor. I have an appointment on Tuesday. I have been hesitant about making the appointment because it's expensive and I want to make sure it will work. I have been reading all the posts and am very encouraged about it. I have a few questions if you don't mind. Is it hard to get started since you are only eating 500 cals a day? Are you hungry all the time? How much did you lose in the first week?

Thank you,
Lisa

Welcome Mauigal and Lisa!

Good job on the losses you guys! I had my first day of not being real hungry, too. I had to remind myself to eat lunch. Very weird!

Lisa, I've been doing this since last Sunday (the 500 a day calorie part) and yes, the first week is alittle challenging, but I can tell you it's worth it to push through and stay faithful to the plan. I'm assuming you are going to take injections since you have an "appointment", but I could be wrong. I am doing sublingual drops and they are working great for me!

You do not have to go through a doctor for the drops, just google. WAY WAY cheaper! I think the injections can even be bought online. Of course if you feel you need to see a doctor, please do so.

If you choose the drops, you start the drops and do 2 days of loading then 21 days of 500 calories with the drops. The drops keep your hunger away for the most part.

You really need to read the study Pounds and Inches done by Dr. Simeons to fully understand how this all works. If you believe it and understand it, try it.

I had my first truly hard day today.. was hungry and freezing! (It is actually quite cold here... 30 degrees right now, and we don't have heat!) But I couldn't get warm even in a warmed up building.

I think I am actually not eating enough... I rarely reach my 500 calories... so today I ate two reasonably good sized servings of protein (nothing else, though) and that really, really helped. I feel much better. We will see what the scale says after a good night's sleep.

Today is my first VLCD. I gained 2 pounds loading. Day 2 of loading was hard. I wasn't hungry, so I made myself eat a lot of walnuts, and had small fatty meals. Took triple flax oil during loading since I won't be using it for a while.

R1D2 146.5

Good luck on your losing, 2 pounds isn't alot for loading so it should go fast, my 1st round I gained almost 5 pounds but lost most of it the 1st vlcd, my
2nd round I gain .4 but I was about 4 pounds above my ldw and it took me almost a week to lose that.

Morning all.... Not usually a big fan of Mondays, but was looking forward to stepping on scale this morning..here's my progress:

P2 Day 1 (load) 191.4
P2 Day 2 (load) 188.6 P2 Day 3 (VLCday1) 187.4

Hey everyone!
Today is VLCD5 and I've lost 7.4lbs since VLCD1. I felt great yesterday but today I could hardly drag myself out of the bed. And I even got to sleep in since we have a snow day today (yay!) I'm so tired and fuzzy-headed. I don't exactly have a headache but it feels like its on the verge of one. I just feel out of sorts, so to speak. I'm excited about the losses though. I'll be more excited to be down 15+ pounds as that will be territory I haven't seen in a couple of years I think I've lost the same 10 pounds 4 times!

Happy Monday everyone!
