I also just wasn't getting enough calories my first round, and find I feel better with a minimum of 500+ per day. Keep in mind I'm a very small woman...some may need more!

As for stabilization (regarding some previous threads)...all I can say is that even with my non traditional round...I stabilized faster. I think perhaps because the weekend high calorie days prevented my metabolism from going too low. Perhaps I stabilized at day 7 as opposed to day 10...a bit faster and I was pleased. Stabilizing is essential on any plan, and if you don't plan on maintaining...well, you simply won't.

Although I haven't done calorie cycling like many of the ladies here...my version is different... I think it does great things to keep the body guessing and prevent fat gain.

Allright, good night ladies!

Thanks for that. Good info.

YAY!! Glad to have you back!

The scale finally moved for me today. Only .5lb, but I will take after 3 days of no movement. I really want to be 145 by Sunday and I think I can do that. I was really hungry today and had more calories than I wanted and it paid off. I think I do need to eat more calories especially b/c of all the exercising that I am doing.

Life goes back to normal with homeschooling and preschool and all the activities that go along with them. I am glad to be back on a routine. Am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

Can't wait to hear how everyone is doing today. Have a great day!

Scale movement downward is great no matter the number! Experiencing some now with TOM lurking around the corner. Former homeschooler here too! Good success to you and your family the coming New Year.

WOE: VSG 75 lbs. down and expecting baby 6/2013! :)
Small world.... I use to homeschool my older children. I have great respect and admiration for homeschoolers because I know first hand how difficult it can be.

So....I released 2.6 lbs my first day and it wasn't even as low cal as I had planned! Going to do better today though, (got rid of that last pesky bag of sweets, lol).

I am so ready to feel thinner again, been feeling yucky since I've gained some this past month.

Small world. Congrats on releasing 2.6 lbs, that is fantastic! Tellme how do you like the spray and how often do you use it? My hubby would like to give hHCG a go and I think he may benefit from the spray instead of the drops depending on the dosing. Yes, those sweets NEED to go.

Girl, I know how you feel. I have been dealing with TOM and it sucks!! I didn't like that it started my first week of hhcg, but am hoping to pick up speed as it starts to leave. You will get through it, but it still stinks!

Great release! It is so nice to feel thinnner again and you will be there before you know it.

So nice to see other homeschooling families. I only have one to school right now, but next year it will be two. It does have it's challenges, but God has blessed me with a great little girl who is eager to learn and very bright.

Was able to squeeze in a quick workout while the kids were upstairs playing. Nice to get that out of the way first thing.

Hope it moves soon! TOM is a nasty bugger...that's all I have to say. Even when he's not around he loves to bloat me up at odd times! Sometimes after he leaves the house I bloat.

Wow that's a great first day release!

Well I was always puzzled at people who lost after their loading days...and here I am..lost .8 after my so called loading day. It was only 1500 calories, so it's pretty understandable! I really was genuinely too full to eat more. Didn't help that I was up at 4am that day...that might have made me feel a bit nauseaus. Then I had rumbly tummy and made a coconut oil treat as a snack and I definitely needed it. Wanted to be "clean" as I start the round.

Think it's time to defrost another turkey...that will make some great 'p2' food for me.

WOE: HHCG Rogue Style....
Start Date: restart: 7/13/2009
Droy...My 1st round was by the book, and then the next round was rogue and I had similar losses with both rounds, this new round is also rogue, juicing and lowcarb, so far so good. I think the things that work are whole foods, extra protein and some fat, if your hopping on the rogue train try adding in extra protein see how that goes, add a little fat or dressing and see how your body reacts to it, I bet it will love you for it.

minimonkey...I also stabilized well in P3 and in P4 I was able to eat anything I wanted even though I had some slipups with adding sugars into my P3 people say you wont stablize if you do that, I found that to be untrue for me.

This is day3 for me and down 1.6 today which makes a total of 6.2lbs I didnt load but did eat a proper dinner with all the trimming both days and had a drink. Trying to beat a cold and sore throat right now, it is wearing me down thats for sure.

Thanks for this thread!

I restarted on 1/1, but didn't have a good day. Jan 2 & 3 were much better, and I am down 2.8 lbs since 1/1.

I am glad to get the ball rolling again--I stumbled, fell, and stayed down for a while--since Thanksgiving. But now I am ready and very excited for this new year!

Wishing us all great success!

Hey Maggie, I am experiencing that release now, and it is wonderful--so yes, hang in there! I got TOM a two days early too, and I was up about 2 lbs of water weight--sucks, sucks, sucks! But it does go--thank God!

I also dose through TOM, and I may gain a few pounds of water weight and lose it, but I do not stop taking my hHCG. I agree with another poster--I would not want to try TOM without hHCG on VLCD. Yikes!

Aaaahhh...I knew this would happen!! So many posts, not enough time!Seriously I love it, but I get so caught up reading that I don't save enough time to post. So I'll just say that VLCD1 is off to a good start (it's only 7:20 am) I've made my big batch of vegie/turkey soup for graze on for the day and planned a spaghetti dinner (using miracle noodles), finishing my coffee w/ hnh. Little disappointed with my start weight but what was I to expect loading for 3 weeks!!

Happy Tuesday, all!

ok! Thanks! I am on the protocol/rogue fence. Although this round has been WAY less strict. R1 the only deviation I had was my 1/2 protein shake, no melbas at all, and a little lip gloss and lotion. This round....yesterday was the only day I didn't have any additional bites of everything. So far this round I am losing slower but I also have less to lose. So far 7 lbs and 4.25 inches GONE. SOOOO close to being back in my 140's and I am thrilled to see 150....4 lbs to get to my LIW

Down 2.2 from yesterday. Didn't stick 100% to plan, but not anything way off base. My shrimp wasn't thawed and didn't have the chicken breast cooked, so subbed thigh meat. I doubt it will kill me. LOL I also had 5 green beans but I cut back on my celery.

Today I will focus on water. I don't think I drank enough yesterday.

Ok, gotta' make this quick. Had a nice personalized reply, that got lost!!

Congrats losers!! You're doing great!!

Hang in there those working through TOM. Usually he leaves w/ some water weight, so try to look ahead !

I'm doing well. Still enjoying my P3ish life. Had a great date dinner w/ dh. yummy!! Gonna' do a low day today and tomorrow, and depending on how I feel, I plan to pack my protein shakes for our trip to the snow Thurs-Fri. We'll see. I would love to get the scale moving back down again, but not unhappy where I am either. A good place to be.

I'll bbl, hopefully to individualize .
