Hello everyone! I'm considering moving from Atkins to HCG. What brand of HCG drops do you use and where do you get them? And which homeopathic drops would you recommend and where do you buy them.

Thanks!

Got down below 200lbs yesterday and then didn't lose an ounce today! I am thinking that TOM had decided to show up early even though I am on BC. Shouldn't start until next Wednesday.

Will be on HCG until 1/13 then first day of P3 will be Monday 1/17. (I am doing injections) I have a very aggressive schedule planned. I will do 3 weeks of P3 and just over 3 weeks of P4 before starting my next round March 5th. Then it will be the same schedule again, 23 days of P2, 3 weeks of P3 and the 3 weeks of P4 and I start over again. I will probably take a longer break then, simply because I will be heading into summer and vacation time!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Howdy Lindy! been missing you!! don't forget to check in with Bob and Chelangal and all of us
sounds like you are doing good this round i would LOVE to be so close to ONDERLAND!!

There is a thread on brands...so many to chose. OR you could buy them here at Netrition. I see they have a good discount going.

We are not allowed to say where we purchase drops.

Hello all! I am into NEW NUMBERS this morning.... well, this afternoon- LOL. I slept in big time today, my sleep this last week has been awful so I didn't even weigh myself till after noon. I know that means tomorrow I may not lose anything or even a slight gain, but still... I am down now 2 pounds today and 1.6 of that is NEW territory. This is now day 7 of VLCD for me.

Just checking in. You guys have been busy! I've read all of the posts and I know I'll miss someone - so I'm sorry!

Cjoy - Great job!

All of you who have lost weight and there are plenty of you -

I dropped .9 pounds this morning for total of 8.8 (I mis-spoke on another thread and said 9.8 - I'll take that as prophetically speaking to myself).

The George Foreman is heating up and I'm having steak with tomatoes for dinner.

It's been a little over a week so I know better what to get at the grocery store; chicken broth, more seasonings, etc.

I'll check in later - once again - good job to everyone!

Hello everyone, just checking in to say I'm finally home in Vancouver. I did my best to eat P3 style while I was away and I did have one off-plan meal (Chinese dinner with extended family).I have not weighed in yet, I'll do that tomorrow. If I'm over I'll do a shake day tomorrow.

I'm waiting for my new pellets to arrive, according to my tracking number they are in Canadian customs. I hope they get through soon so I can get back to P2 next week.

I've got to go back and read about how everyone is doing!

Quick question. I realize that only light exercise (walking, yoga, etc) is recommended. Have anyone lifter weights while doing phase 2? I don't see where weights would really burn a lot more calories than say walking on a treadmill. Just wanted to see what everyone wasa doing. I have exercised 6 days a week most of my adult life and really do not want to get out of the habit. Mindi

Ive been lifting the whole time. It's been ok but I'm wondering if it's why I'm so burnt out now. its got nothing to do with the calories burned, it's simony that you can't workout as well eating so little. Plus, water retention from weight training masks losses on the scale.

I think the only reason weight lifting isn't recommended is because it temporarily "tears down" muscle fibers and the VLCD doesn't contain enough protein to rebuilt. Also may result in muscles holding water.

I went out today and bought Gary Taubes "Why We Get Fat, And What To Do About It". Laying in bed reading after a wonderful night out with DH. Went out to dinner and then saw "True Grit". Lots o' fun!

Good morning!!

Only down .2 today. I know it must be because of water weight gain... I ate 100% OP and drank all my water, but my body is just hanging on to it Hopefully after TOM arrives I will see a nice drop, trying not to throw in the towel or do anything rash!!!

Great losses everyone, have a wonderful day!

Down 1! Thank You! Maybe this means I'm over my mini-stall.

I did make sure I had my lemon juice and orange yesterday, I don't know if it helped, but I'm going to do it again today..... i can almost see the '70's from here.

Is it an easier read then GCBD? We want to see True Grit. I recorded the old one last night on tv.

Hey, if I dont get to goal in 2 weeks, I may join you for a new round Feb 20th. I have a big trip coming in March I want to be ready for.

136.5 this AM (LDW was 136! yeah) and TOM still hanging around. I just dont know if I can get to 130 in 2 weeks. Sounds unrealistic.

I am ready for a longer P3 at this stage of the game.

Off to church...chat at ya all later.

Hi Ladies!

I'm on day 2 of loading, so start VLCD tomorrow. I was bad on drinking the water in my past 4 rounds, so I will make that change this time around. Otherwise, I am a strict, by the book Protocol gal.

I lost 37 pounds last year (started in March) on HCG during 4 rounds and I have never been so successful in all my life in losing weight. By not following Protocol and being careless, I gained 11 pounds back over the holidays. I am ready to get back on the wagon and lose the rest of my weight this year, because I know it works! For the first time in my life I KNOW I can and will do it!

Looking forward to sharing with everyone.

Yes, MUCH easier read than GCBC. It's basically that for the lay person. Still heavily vested in research, but written in a way that we can all understand. Really quite fascinating, and it makes me mad how mislead we all are by the powers that be who put out all that erroneous information.

I am up 1 lbs after two days, including my big night out last night. So today I am just taking it easy, not overdoing anything. I am going to try my best to stay in my window, or at least close to it. I am learning a lot from Taubes on things I should be doing. Atkins never gave amounts of how much cream and cheese to have, but Taubes does. This is not a diet book at all, but in the appendix, he does list some guidelines. And he does say use cream, not half and half. YAY!

Good review. Makes me mad and also how the mainstream pipeline still relies on low fat.

The latest Atkins book does give amounts for cheese, cream. I like the new book.

1 pound is great

Okay, weighed in for the first time since Wednesday. I was still 185. The scale here is not the same scale I was using and it's one of those older dial scales. I'm going to have to get a more advanced one for P2.
