I don't know how to do multiple quotes so:

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL YOU LOSERS!!!!!!!

For all of you struggling - hang in there! I'm claiming 2011 as my year so let's do this.

All you stuggling with illness - please get well fast!

I can join you - thanks for supporting me during my hungry day yesterday - that was a tough one. I broke down and had some lettuce with lemon juice and it satisfied me - it also helped me in the bathroom, if you know what I mean

So, today is day 8 since I started Hcg last Friday (my 1st load day) and I have lost 7.8 pounds. Pretty excited!

I have learned a lot from all of you and so appreciate it! Thank you.

Must get to work - TTYL

Ok, so I just checked and my latte that I've been having everyday isn't non-fat (even though I order it that way apparently my local McDonalds doesn't carry the non-fat version ) so that will be leaving my menu now. Going to have to find another warm morning drink alternative. I don't really have time to make tea in the mornings so I guess I'll just have to do without.

Here we go.....again....

Good Morning!! Recorded a 1.6 lb loss this morning...LOVING the scales this week!! But yesterday was very hard!! Must have been due to TOM--but I was starving all day. Usually hot tea takes away my hunger, but even that didn't dent it yesterday. Fortunately feeling much better today.

Now in virgin weight territory + it's FRIDAY....could the day get any better??

I have, but very slowly. I might add it back in on P3, but I'd like to get another 8 lbs behind me before I move on. I just have to buckle down and I tend to be a very impatient person

The way this has gone for me:

Started 12/4/10 at: 185
Loaded for 2 days, so up to: 187
12/17/10 Got down to: 176
Went off plan on 12/17-12/26: up to 179
Straightened out, got back down to: 173
Off plan over New Years: back up to 178
Just now today I'm back down to: 173

So if I stop goofing off and just do it I know the weight will come off. But this whole week was re-losing what I'd already worked on the week before New Years. My body shape has changed so I'm not discouraged. Just getting impatient. I'll get there.

How are you feeling today?? I had the same problem yesterday myself...and it was Day 5 for me also. Feeling much better today. I hadn't heard before that day 5 was typically tough for others...glad to know that now.

since you have started today go ahead and load but
starve a fever and feed a cold or is it feed a fever and starve a cold??
ANYWAY I would start the 500 tomarrow and drink lots of chicken broth
w/ spices and Louisana hot sauce (noodle-less chicken noodle soup) for the cold (could also put your veggies in there
STLL waiting for my drops to come in since I ordered them before I knew there were pellets I'll take them maybe do pellets next round

I had steak and asparagus for supper last night my steak was more then the 100g. I am going to have asparagus again for supper today to see if that is what is helping, earlier in the week I had chicken with asparagus and lost 1.4 pounds so I am thinking it is the asparagus.

I'm down .8 from yesterday so I'm happy about that. I cheated with two coffees yesterday instead of one. I've been losing even with my daily coffee, but I might give it up to see if I lose faster. I'm going to see how today goes and decide from there.

Have a great day everybody!!
another good loss for you. If you are losing with having the coffee I would keep the coffee if that is what is helping you stay full and functional during the day.

Thanks. I'm debating. I'm going to give it up over the weekend and see how I do. The weekends are really difficult for me because I'm home all day around all my kids and the food. At work either I have it with me or I don't. Plus we are supposed to get snow Sunday and I know I'm going to want some warm cozy comfort food. If I tell myself I have to stay strict on plan to know what affects me and what doesn't then I'm more likely to do it right.

The next two days will be my coffee free days. That will tell me what I need to know I think.

Weekends are usually harder for me as well, being at work is so much easier because I only have P2 food so no temptations but at home I just keep busy so that I am not thinking about food.

Good luck on giving up your coffee for the weekend hopefully you will get the releases that you want.

Amy~I steamed it in the microwave and topped it with some garlic pepper and a bit of salt sub for potassium boost.

I am still learning not to overcook it but so far it still comes out soggy. I cook my in a large frying pan filled with water, when the water boils I cook it for 3 mins. then I put sea salt on it.

Cindy--the asparagus is a diuretic so that is why it is so helpful!! Have it everyday if you like!!

I am not a huge fan, but it is so good while on the plan. It is a diuretic therefore can shed some real good water weight. I boil it in a pan on the stovetop and boil it for about 5 mins or so. I do the whole bunch that way and then have the leftovers for the next several days.

I was cooking my in a frying pan because the spears wouldn't fit in the pan.

Glad has some really handy microwave steaming bags. Directions on how to steam stuff is right on each bag. I found a box right by the glad zippy bags.

Had a hard day yesterday, but made it through without cheating. Okay... technically I cheated as I had 6 (yes 6) pieces of gum. But, it got me through. So glad I didn't cheat... was down 1.6 this morning. Woohoo! That's down a total of 3.6 lbs from my preload weight. Much better than last round.

Okay... as for asparagus. It's so expensive, so I don't usually buy it. But, I did buy some canned asparagus at Sams awhile back. Is that as good for you? Should I try it tonight? I'm having fish, so my veggie is not incorporated into my meal. Was going to have cucumbers, but maybe I should try asparagus. Maybe nuke it and put some seasoning on it? I'm open to suggestions. TIA!

Cindy---I cut my asparagus into 3rds otherwise mine won't fit in the pan either!! But frying is just as good. You have reaped the benefits--anyway to get it in!! Btw, I learned that tip in bootcamp. Most of the other foods on plan are diuretics as well.

Debby, I think the canned is why I don't particularly like asparagus It was not something I grew up on. But I have learned to like it. I would certainly try the canned for sure!! I have not had the canned before but when I make mine, I sprinkle sea salt (I put that on everything per doctor's orders!!) and then have put Molly McButter on it as well. Mighty tasty that way to me!!
