Anyone feel strange or jittery when starting HCG diet?

Hi. My sisters and mom have had success on the HCG diet doing it at home on their own with the drops. I decided to try it and my sister gave me a bottle of drops. Today is my first load day and I feel odd. At first, I felt silly and energized. Now I feel jittery and weird. I tend to be a person who gets anxious easily when I'm concerned about something (like I got about how I was feeling) so now I'm not certain what the HCG is doing to me and what I'm doing to myself. My sister said she never felt jittery. I had coffee this morning like I always do, but make it was bad to have it after taking HCG this morning? I'm also not hungry at all and I having a hard time making myself eat. Anyone experienced something similar?

I felt the same way on the load day-was supposed to eat, but ironically, did not feel liek eating. I still feel kinda jittery in the mornings (on day 4) but evenings are much better.

I feel a tad jittery sometimes but then I eat something and it goes away. It's sort of important to load though, from what I hear you can become miserable through your first few days of VLCD if you don't load.

I never felt jittery during the load days, but it DID seem difficult to eat all that I was supposed to. I began my VLCD right after Christmas when I was home on break (I'm a teacher). I found that it was really important that I break up my fruit and melba/breadstick servings through out the day so that I was eating about every two-three hours. As long as I ate regularly, I was golden. No cravings, no cheating, nothing. I also found that it helped to have de-caffeinated hot tea at night. The Celestial Seasonings Cinnamon Apple seemed to really curb my appetite and desire for something sweet. But again, one of the things that amazed me the most about hcg was that I was absolutely able to resist all temptations--wine, chocolate, pasta, and bread--even while fixing those things for my family. I had NO CRAVINGS after the first four days. Good luck!

I did not feel that way when I first started, but there were two separate occasions where I became extremely weak and light headed. Both times had to be corrected by eating off protocol foods. I think that it was low blood sugar or something.

I thought it wasn't recommended to start the HCG until the night of your second load day? The only time I did I couldn't eat my load foods, it was an appetite suppressant. The first few days/week are a detox, the whole diet is a type of cleanse so if you have never done a detox diet or a cleanse you have a lifetime of preservatives, artificial flavorings et al built up and there are sometimes side effects like the jitters, or nausea, or night sweats to name a few. I'm no expert, maybe someone else will weigh in. However 99% seem to agree that after a few days you will feel energised, no physical cravings or hunger and no weakness cuz the body is burning fat like a mofo. And the scale moves fast, unlike 99% of other diets I've tried. Stick with it. If you have no fat to burn then you will be "doing something bad to yourself" otherwise it's just cold feet! No exceptions IMO.

i was wired for a few days when i first started, I couldn't sleep at night. Not sure if it was an anxiety thing about starting something new. I start loading again today so we shall see if it happens again this round.

You take the hhcg on the 2 loading days so it gets into your system.
