I am no hypo expert but I do recall one of the posters did very well adding macadamia nuts. I know for me, apples not only stalled me but I felt jittery from the sugar. Another thing is, this diet is not easy. The first week is the biggest challenge. But it does get better. In the beginning, I gave up all caffeine and had to nap when I could. I look back and realize I gave myself a double wammy! lol

We want you to be successful also.

edited to add...I did read you are on antibiotics, correct? Or did I goof.
Good advice Stevie, protein will help with the hunger and sustain her longer. Especially since she is hypoglycemic. More protein will sustain her.

Thank you. I'm not hungry physical, just want to eat

If you eat the apples with the protein you won't get the sugar spike. I bed you are feeling like you are because without the fruit and bread you are getting WaY to little food.

Ahhh...it looks like my return to P2 is going to be delayed no matter what because I have to do some travel during the first 2 weeks of January.

I'm going to do a little experiment. I still have about 5 days worth of drops from my first bottle. I'm going to call the past week an interruption and just jump back in to P2 eating until the drops are gone.

Do you think that could be detrimental? Since I won't be able to do another full round until mid-January, I'd like to drop another 3-5lbs. I wouldn't load...just straight to P2.

well, with the mixed suggestions (which is to be expected ) I'm not really sure what I'll do tomorrow. My original hcg plans were to try it for a while protocol and go a bit rogue if I started not feeling well.

maybe
lunch (beef), half the apple and eat the grissini

if i get hungry i'll eat 50g meat and 1/4 apple (this is what i did today- seemed to help)

dinner(not beef), no grissini - when i eat foods lower in protein, I'll eat a higher serving...

IF I lose less than half a lb a day on this diet, after say... 2 weeks? I'm going back to induction like I was. I was losing faster doing that, even after 9 weeks... no sense in doing hcg if I can lose more doing induction kwim?
but I feel (knock on wood) like I'm going to have a whoosh tomorrow. we shall see

ty for the suggestions and support.

Awesome!!! I really like their clothes. I saw some very cute sweaters there recently. Congrats!! I love my skinny jeans with boots. My DD likes them with flats.lol

Woohoo!

Amy,
lol, yes, a lot of different replies. You go with what makes you sleep at night.

TMB,
yes, you could consider it an interruption. With a mini goal of 3-5 pounds, hard to say what will happen but your body could surprise you. Enjoy your travels!

Hi Disney
how many days left for you for P2?

I ate about 1800 calories today people! High fat, low carb. Wowza!

My first go I did 36 days. It is doable

If you get to goal before that, did your trainer mention upping your calories but finishing the round?

If I hit goal before I'm going to stop the drops the day after I hit and do the 2 days without, then I will go to P3 and stay there for a long while probably. She'll start adding grains slowly around my workouts, which wil also be increased in intensity.

Realistically I'm thinking 2 more weeks of p2. I have nothing planned so no off days at all coming up. 2.5 pounds a week is all I need, and that's pretty much what I've been losing

Most people lose 3-5 lbs. I lost a fraction of that. And it's at the beginning. When I slow down and stall I'm afraid I'll be right back to losing 4 lbs/month like every other diet I've tried.

How much did you put on loading? A lot of people also put on more than 2 pounds. I put on over 5. You should be at your pre load weight within 2-3 days. Don't start stressing just yet! My losses have been a ton slower than a lot of people but I'm shrinking none the less. You will lose weight eaten 500 calories a day, it is pure science there. If you don't you need to go see an doctor

I gained 1.2 loading.

Last year I was on a physician supervised 1,000 calorie diet for 3 months and worked out 2 hrs/day with a personal trainer doing Crossfit. I lost 10 lbs.

My physician said I must not be working out and my personal trainer said I must not be dieting. But I was! I never cheated once!

I just don't understand.

You barely gained while loading. Peole who lose 3-4 pounds are those that gained it loading. You are almost below your pre load weight!!!

1000 calories and 2 hour workouts is starvation! I'm not surprised you didn't lose doing that. Most people wouldn't because your body can't support that few calories and that much energy expenditure. That's why HCG is different.

Congrats, that's awesome!

Well P2-Day 3, released another 2 pounds. I do have a touch of the HcG flu though. I really hoped it wouldn't happen again since this is my second round. I just have to get through this week and I know I'll feel better. Went to bed at 7:30, lol.

Have a great day everyone

That's what I did after my week of "indescretions" as I'm calling it Went almost a full week completely gonzo with food. Started right back on plan Monday and I'm now back down below where I was the Friday before my free for all.

I didn't lose much after my load days either. Don't get discouraged. A loss is a loss. Get excited about that!! This plan does work. Hang in there, check in here and listen to the very knowledgable ladies. Post menu's, get support and let yourself be supported by the folks here. WE can do this and doing this together is much easier than trying to fight it alone

Ok, so I'm down below my lowest weight since starting this diet. Even after my week of pigging out. I was 176.0 the Friday before my wild week. I'm now weighing in at 175.2

I'm so excited/surprised/shocked that I'm back on track that easily. That tells me that something is for sure changing with my metabolism and this isn't just a quick fix diet. Crossing my fingers that this really does change things for good!!

Hi everyone - may I join in?

I just received my drops and info and am reading all of the information. I am going to load on Saturday and Sunday and then bite the bullet on Monday.

I don't understand all of the lingo yet; P1, P2, P3, etc. I don't know what consitutes cheap vs expensive drops, but I'm here to learn

Thanks in advance for all of your support. I have a HUGE amount of weight to lose and am hoping this will get me going.

I took my drops this morning. Doing a very brief P2 to finish off the bottle. Should be interesting.

hang in there You WILL lose - and you DID! You didn't gain a lot loading so you can't expect the giant losses on day 1 that the people who gain a ton loading lose. I only lost 1.2 last night as well. Poop!

I'm not even 4'11 so yeah, I'm little but I still have a ton of "fat" to lose. My goal is 100-102.

I had so much fun shopping for clothes yesterday, I totally forgot about buying food! I ended up with nothing in the house I could eat! For lunch I had chicken broth with fire-roasted tomatoes - which was filling - but had no protein. For dinner, I ended up eating a pork chop with mushrooms, which were salty. So I am up 1.5 today. I'm not going to freak out, because I can feel the water gain. Strict P2 today. I had groceries delivered and they are sitting out on my front porch in our little dusting of snow! I am off work today, so I will be cooking up some P2 foods for the week. Not gonna run out again!
