Steak day question....

If I am starting R2 on Friday, is a steak day a waste of time. I am MISERABLE today/hungry. I have been eating anything and everything for the last month (I know it's totally my fault) and am at 155 this morning. (was 146 LIW). Have gained 5 of it this week alone.

I HATE coffee with JUST cream BTW so that will not help. I wish I could sleep the day away but I have to work. Going to the Great Wolf Lodge tomorrow so I can't do a steak day another day since R2 starts on Friday.

What are you all Christmas Shopping today??? I have an emergency! lol

Also I am having TOM cramps today too. I have no idea when or if it will come since I have a Mirena but it sure feels like it's knocking on my door.

Well I am not shopping, but not on strict Protocol either... If it were me though, I'd eat a clean day of protein and veges... going all day with no food when you are starving is not a good idea...

Steak days are fine, but I would make a huge steak and eat it throughout the day. I don't think his idea was to be hungry all day. Most folks who do steak days are already not that hungry.

Eat protein though, it is important! Just my opinion of course...

I am thinking the same thing, just wanted someone else to suggest it. I am starting round 2 in a matter of days so it seems silly to be starving all day and suffering. Maybe I will eat p2 style today so I don't pass out. lol Thank you for responding :P

Yeah, what she says!!! There are other correction days to do if you cannot go without food for the entire day. I just did a Greek yogurt day, and there is the shake day, and the egg day, the nut day.......I could go on. But you are starting a new round. I would just hold off until your next round, why beat yourself up now?????

Maybe I should just do p2 today and then have my last horrah at the Great Wolf Lodge tomorrow and suffer with the few extra (10) pounds on r2. I just hate that I am SOOOO far over LIW

I second Deb...a big steak, with butter. lol - nibble at it all day when you are hungry and get your water in.

No shopping, cleaning! ugh
