Merry Christmas! I am down .7 this morning to 149. My daughter arrived last night to a surprise party of all her friends. I made tons of snacks, and boy, it was hard to stay out of them. But I did, and it paid off. Whew! I treated myself to some cream in my coffee this Christmas morning, a gift to myself. I'd like not to gain today, but I'm not gonna freak out if I do. Have a great day, everyone!

Merry Christmas!!! I was definitely on the naughty list last night. Doing a steak day today, as I was a little freaked out by the scale this a.m. Our Christmas was the 23rd and 24th because my husband is on duty today. Back to reality for me. Let's just say...I discovered pecan brittle. It followed me everywhere I went. I loved it. It loved me back. A little too much. So I ended it. LOL...feeling a bit hungry...lonely...and staying away from the kitchen today.

Merry Christmas!

1st day of loading, and I am tired of eating.

I will try to remember this feeling next week.

I can't wait to get back to phase 2. I'm already burned out on food.

P3 for me has been mentally exhausting, and frustrating. I can't wait until I am back on P2 as well. I know I have to learn to deal with "real food" situations...such as evil pecan brittle...but I'm not sure I was ready???

Seriously thinking of shelling out the $100 it would cost to order and fed-ex drops from Netrition to Canada. I want to get back on the losing train.

Merry Christmas everyone. AMAP, LOL about the pecan brittle. I tell you there was a sweet potatoe pie that was calling my name. I literally felt depressed because I knew that if I put just a piece on my tongue I would be 10 pounds outside of my window. Oh, the smells in the kitchen and my mother cooked the meal!!! Well, it was a stressful Christmas which did not help my blood sugar (Type 1 diabetic) but I resisted all sugars. Ate turkey and veggies. Thank God today still in my window. I am so happy. I am too greedy to do a steak day.

I think I will go back on P2 a week after I go back to Kuwait and that will be 5weeks instead of the 6. Hopefully, this will not be a problem. At least by time I am back on the plane I will be in P4 mode and I can then eat some carbs. The HCG is a great benefit to assisting with my diabetes.

Enjoy the holiday everyone. It's only once a year and if the diabetes weren't complicating the issue I think me and that sweet potatoe pie would have been best buddies last night. Whatever needs to be fixed can be fixed during the year so, dont worry about what you ate yesterday as long as it was not damaging to your health. That's the reality of life. It's short so enjoy. Be safe, happy and healthy.

Have a great remainder of the holidays.

im disapointed. today is my second vlcd. woke up and weighed this morning and I'm teh same as I was yday. exactly the same. I was hoping that after a full day of eating 500 cals, I'd AT LEAST lose the 4.5 I gained while loading.
expecting tom (have been forever now, hcg is keeping it at bay?) and I need Bernice to visit. so.....

i'm frustrated. I was really excited to weigh in today and realy disapointed.

Well, the holiday came and went, and not a single thing off protocol went in my mouth, with the exception of cream in my 3 cups of coffee. For lunch, I ate plain shrimp, and for dinner, I ate asparagus, and all the grilled beef tenderloin I could put in my mouth. I'm guessing I ate 8-10 oz, maybe more. It was so very delish. And still, I was down .6 this morning. I couldn't believe it. I felt sure I would put on a pound or two. Maybe there will be a 2nd-day bounce, we'll see. But for now, my loss over Christmas Eve day and Christmas day total 1.3 lbs. I'll take it!!

To those struggling, hang in there. It will happen if you eat clean. Lots of things, like TOM and no Bernice can wreak havoc on the scale, just give it time. Don't give up.

Have a great day, everyone.

I was pleased to be able to wear my size 4's have been working so hard to fit in.

Looking forward to increasing my exercise this week and getting back to cycle off the last few pounds.

Aww, thanks Chouder. I am sure I am up right now but its not fat gain. My calories were not out there by any means.

Keep plugging along!

Good morning all!

Looking good Stevie!

Today is a shake day for me, I'm up about 3lbs from LDW. I did not eat sugar or starches, but I did eat too much of everything else.

I'm cool with the shake day, as I am burned out on food and cooking for the week. :P

TMB, what is "shake day" and does it do the same thing as steak day?

Yes...I eat a primarily vegetarian diet. I ate fish during P2...but steak is out of my comfort zone.

Stevie

I must say you look marvelous darling!!! Those are some fab boots and love the size 4 jeans. You are doing so well and I look forward to your posts. Good going girl!!

Toomuch, I will join you in your steak day. Know you are not alone! For me today is a ground beef day, because I have already eaten my steaks last time!!! But I have a tomato as well. So far so good, 2 cups of coffee down and in about an hour I will start my hamburger patties!!! I ate so way off plan that I totally expected this and am A-OK with this. Just expected to be eating my steak day dinner in the mountains by now. The entire state of NC is under state of emergency and since it doesn't even snow here at home, I cannot drive in snow!! And they are calling for blizzard conditions today and tomorrow. So it looks like our holiday plans are off by about 2 days. Which is good since my eldest DS cannot even stand up right now. He is sick with a fever and sore throat so he can get better at home before we leave. My youngest is also not doing well....coughing too much. At least the kids got to play in the snow today!! That was/is the whole purpose for going to the mountains, to see snow. I ended up going to the after Christmas sale at Wal-Mart and got some great Christmas deals. Yeah us!!! Now I have to get out to the Publix to see if they have any great baking deals (sugar free chocolate chips come to mind!!). I love the holidays!!!!

Cottage cheese, fish, shrimp or 1 egg/3 egg whites.

Dawn, glad to know I'm not alone. So far, I've only had coffee today. I'll be having my first shake in a few minutes.

Thanks for the nice words. So those Ugg boots to forever to find my size and the color is hard to find also. And I think I told you guys I bought those jeans for $5.00, brand new Levis. Dontcha love a good bargain?

For those of us who ate off plan, today is a new day!

I am not doing a real steak day but low carb. Tomorrow I probably do a steak day.

I just came back from my moms where the counter is plagued with sweets...and phew, was not tempted. Came home and had a piece of ribeye and avocado. Now to work on my water. Tomorrows weigh is probably going eye popping!
