When I did my first round I did it by high fatting it and not using any carbs either. It was great!!! I made Linda Sue's casseroles for dinners so that my family would enjoy too! I made her White Castle hamburger pie; I made my low carb chocolate cream cheese concoction and ate 1/2 (WOW!!! That was so good!!); macadamia nuts; I had Bee's egg shake--3 eggs, 3 TBL coconut oil, 3 TBL butter some hot water all mixed together in a blender with some cinnamon added. Talk about being full......I just kind of ate all day long. Get in some avocado, full fat Greek yogurt--that stuff is very very high fat!!!, salads with dressing and cheese. Just think of things you would miss while doing the P2 diet and eat that!!! I also made up some stuff that is off limits on P2 like turkey, pork chops, tunafish with mayo, things like that!!! Happy loading!!!
Oh, I love sugarfreesheilas site. Those recipes are great!! Love her 1 serving pumpkin cheesecake and so does my 4 yr old!!

Sorry to be getting back here so late with my loading recipes. I don't get online during the weekends because DH hates that it takes up my time when I could be spending it with him and the kids. So anyway, here is the "Chocolate Cream Cheese" I made and ate 1/2 of the recipe. My DH and kids gladly ate the rest of it!!
Chocolate Cream Cheese 1/2 cup macadamia nuts 1 pint whipping cream 6 unsweetened bakers chocolate squares 1 tsp vanilla extract 16 oz cream cheese Splenda to taste (I use 1/2 cup for a dark chocolate taste, you may need more) I put the cream and cream cheese in a pot on the stove top and heat. Then I add in the chocolate squares and the vanilla and Splenda. Wisk all together to combine. Then add the nuts last. I have also used pecans because they are DH's favorite nut and I have done no nuts because that is the kids' favorite. But I can also do 1/2 plain and 1/2 nuts of choice!! When it is all incorporated, pour into a 8X8 pan and refrigerate. It can be frozen, and heats up nicely. When I first started to make this, I ate it cold straight from the fridge, but I have found most recently that I prefer this slightly warmed up in the microwave. I hope you enjoy this as much as I have!!! |

I have found a few other recipes I have loaded with. here is a great soup recipe--it is my DD's favorite!! She is 9 years old and very, very picky! But anything with cheese she is all over.
Betty's Broccoli cheese soup 1 bag frozen chopped broccoli 2 cups heavy cream 1 stick of butter salt and pepper to taste 4oz shredded cheddar Combine the cream and butter, warm on the stove in a pot until melted. Add in the seasonings. Add broccoli, frozen is fine. Warm on low to medium, adding cheese to thicken. Soup will thicken during heating. |

And another recipe I found, but did not use during loading. I think this would be great to get in some fat!!
Ketosis Balls 1 pkg cream cheese 1 stick butter 1/2 cup Splenda 4-6 oz nuts Combine cream cheese and butter and then mix in Splenda. Put in freezer. Chop nuts and put in bowl. When mix is slightly frozen, scoop out a ball and roll in nuts to coat. refrigerate or freeze. Notes: You can add a tad of vanilla extract and/or some cocoa powder if you like. You can also omit the sweetener and add in peanut butter. |

thank you dawn!
It's 4:16pm here and I've not eaten a whole lot. I just can't seem to cram any more in. I've had the cheeseburger quiche for bfast, a serving of macnuts for lunch and about 2 pc bacon. Is this enough for this late in the afternoon? looking at others load menus, it's not enough but I feel like I'm going to be sick, eating all this grease/fat. ![]() |

i ate a bowl of broccoli cheese soup and it was SO good, but I coul donly eat about 3/4 of it and I was totally stuffed. I'm a bit worried that my stomach has stretched so much that I can't load correctly. I really feel like I'm about to
I wonder if there isn't a bit of my tummy bug I had thursday lingering around, causing me to feel bloated and so full. I hope this doesn't cause me to fail. I'm sure trying! so if I dont load correctly, I'll just be hungry the first couple of days? I rally need to go back and read through the protocol again about loading...going now. it's alrady 6:51pm, I'm not going to be awake much longer, I need to get some food in. |

I bet you'll be OK. The high fat loading has always been so effective for me. I eat till full, not bloated. With carbs I can eat so much more...just can't with fat, and it's worked ok for me. Good luck with your round!

paula- that was my theory, kinda. I was watching youtube videos of girls loading days and one girl had sausage and eggs with cheese etc and then had EIGHT crispy creme donuts. yikes! I figure my fat content might be as high as some of theirs minus the carbs and sugar.
I just love the support here and dont know what id do w/o it! <3 you all! this is so exciting! can't wait to start losing! |
