Happy new year ladies! Let's do this thing!
I'm on VLCD day 3, and already 1 lb below my pre-load weight. AND my TOM just started, so I must say I am quite pleased with that! |

Well I decided to go ahead and keep loading until our vacation ended. (4 day load). After the 10lb gain on day one of loading, I was afraid to jump on the scale. Figured I better today since VLCD was supposed to start. The scale was 125.6!! Still up from preload/pre-holiday weight but after the crap I ate while on vacation this was a pleasant surprise.
I am finding after day 1, I am not really hungry...but do get the munchies. I started with the injection of 150 and am wondering if I should up it for tomorrow?

Awesome, Celtic! I hope someone who knows more will answer your injection question, but so glad you are on board with us!
So your goal size is Zero? (based on your sig, stats, etc.?) Mine is too. I was a zero the last time I was at 110 -- funny how bodies are.. you are a lot taller than I am but we were in the same size at pretty similar weights. |

![]() Luckily its been cold so no one has noticed too much. Or they have been smart enough to not say anything. I have one pair of 2's that I kept for those bloated TOM days. That is ALL I have been wearing the past few weeks. It is time to get this extra weight off. This support board is the best. |

Celtic -- That's where the height difference comes in.... I don't think I could get my 0s on if I tried! I do have some 1s that are very tight. I am wearing 3s and 5s comfortably.
I kept my old clothes, at least my favorites, so I do have something to wear anyways. Lets get those zeros fitting well again! |

Just finishing up R4 VLCD1... it went really well! Probably one of the easiest vlcds I've had so far. I'm just hoping it will pay off on the scale.

VLCD 2 for me, and going well. I suppose it helps that I've been really
since Friday and don't want to look at much food. The cough medicine I have to take has some sort of sugar in it ... hoping it won't stall me out too much. Wishing you all a healthy, happy and lighter 2011!! |

Man I'm on day 2 of loading and just thoroughly grossed out! Today I will be preparing all of my VLC food. I'm getting nervous. My worst fear is my coffee in the mornings...I've never had coffee without my cream and splenda!
I'm at 191.4 today and can't even believe it! I thought I was so overweight when I was 165..that's nothing compared to this! I am 39 and had a hysterectomy on Oct 1, 2010 and have gained 15 pounds since then! Crazy! So ready to fit into my clothes again!

Today is loading day 2 for me. Yesterday was rough as I had a horrific hangover from drinking too much wine on NYE. Why do I do this to myself??? I tried to eat as much as possible but only managed to eat a bowl of cheese grits for bfast, a fast food burger/fries for lunch and some homemade bread with butter for dinner.
Today I feel a LOT better! I really have a lot of energy all of a sudden. Not sure whether it's just a rebound effect from feeling so low yesterday or the HCG. But whatever, I'll take it! I had a humongous bfast of the fattiest scrambled eggs in history and a big piece of homemade bread toast. I don't know what I will do for lunch but planning on making meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner tonight. Hopefully that will suffice! Stats so far: P2D1 (loading): 169.4 P2D2 (loading): 170.0 |

I am so ready to start tomorrow! LuckyD, I was the same way with my coffee ..... I tried to drink it black, but it was a no-go for me so I just gave it up. What's funny is that when I started P3, I didn't even have it right away.

TooMuchBooty -- Yay Capricorns! Happy birthday in advance....
I am down 1.4 lbs from yesterday!!!!!!! I still can't believe this is happening, but boy do I love it. This plan is a total miracle. I'm finding it really easy, too -- minimal hunger, no cravings, lots of energy... my body just loves this. I can't wait to see all of us succeed... what a great plan, and a great little support group! |

Didn't quite make it on the 1st due to feeling yucky from a cold. Still have the cold, but feeling better today so decided to start. It's been a bit tough trying to get food in since I have 2 sick kids, but here's what I've done so far...
2 servings cheesecake, 2 cups coconut hot cocoa (each has 1 TBSP coconut oil & 1 TBSP cream), nutcracker snickers, 1/4 recipe of Linda Sue's JUST LIKE STUFFED BAKED POTATOES. Boy are they yummy! Will probably have more coconut hot cocoa. Tonight I'm planning cheesy nachos w/salsa and guacamole (unfortunately we're out of sour cream )... and who knows what else. Trying not to have much sugar since I'm sick and it depresses the immune system. Also, trying to load lower carb this time. Too bad I hadn't made SF cheesecake. Oh, well. It was quick to grab this morning. Looks like you all are doing really well. Congrats to all you losers! ETA: Oh, forgot to mention that my starting weight is 172.4 (my LDW from round 1) ![]()

R4VLCD2 - lost 2.2 this morning. I'm trying to stick closer to protocol this time, including fasting until lunch (before I was eating a small breakfast), and making sure I stay at or under 500 calories. Ready to have this weight off! At the end of R3, I had 20 lbs to goal and at the beginning of R4 I was at 28 lbs to goal... depressing. Hopefully I'll do better this time! |

SomewhatD: 2.2 lbs is a great loss! You can totally do this... and honestly, I think we should all get some amnesty for holiday gains. It is so hard to eat sensibly during the holidays.
I am SO GLAD that I am a black coffee gal! I feel for everyone who is struggling with that... I need my coffee in the morning, and I just happen to prefer it black. Have you folks tried tea, maybe? |

I'm going to fess up, I used 2 tbsp of half and half in my coffee daily...I just couldn't hack it without it. I still had very good losses. It's absolutely not on protocol so don't get mad at me if it doesn't work for you.

So do I. Only I probably use more than that, and I have 2-3 large cups per day. I don't think I could do this protocol without it, and besides, it keeps me full.

Day 2 on VLC and the scale was down another 1.2 pounds. The problem is I am VERY hungry today. I am hoping I can make it, but may need to adjust my dose.

Whoohoo for the loss, Celtic! I hope one of the experts comes in and addresses the dose issue -- I think I am one of the lucky ones who happens to do well at my starting dose. Not everyone does, it seems.
So exciting to watch this... what a great way to start the new year. |

What matters is what we are doing now, and that is getting on track. By next holiday season, hopefully we will be at goal, properly stabilized, and able to enjoy the holidays without guilt!
Somewhat: On this plan, 28 lbs really isn't that much to lose. Bet it will make a heck of a difference when its gone, too! |

Starting VLC today with DH! This is good and bad because the man is obsessed with accuracy and the scale.
Need to keep focused on myself these next 21 days and make myself know that I am worth the extra time and energy it takes to do this diet. I know it works. Just gotta stick with it. I have absolutely nothing going on these next 21 days except kid stuff. I will not go to the Girl Scout cookie outing. I know I just can't handle it. FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS! What is everyone eating today? |
