P2 menu - December

Tomorrow:
decaf w/half/half, vanilla Stevia
2 liters of water
100 g of steak with tomatoes
shrimp cooked in Mrs Dash with cucumbers
tea

I need to start posting. I would like to get to goal for Christmas. After all these days, I went off plan and I sure do not want to start that pattern! I need to behave.

I believe this will help a lot Stevie!! Once I ate a bit off plan on P2 I started to think "gee, I didn't gain and then it became a downward spiral." Keep posting and I hope you behave today!! Boy it sure is cold here and will be all week. I have to up my tea so that I don't get in too much coffee!

Thanks Dawn. I also joined BC last night. Just to be accountable. I hate to get slack with such a short run to the finish line! lol

lol, that may be a job hazard for you!

My head is in the game.

Can the rest of us in P2 post here as well? I didn't see another P2 thread anywhere and I'd love to join to make sure I'm doing this right.

For me today it is:

B: coffee w/toffee stevia
L: Chicken/apple brazed in lemon juice over lettuce w/melba
D: browned lean ground beef w/cabbage, melba
S: 1/2 grapefruit

I also found some caffeine free chai spice tea that tastes like apple cider when I add my vanilla stevia drops. I plan on sipping on that when I start to get hungry.

Oh, I am so glad!!! I get to check in on those doing all phases so you can see my posts in P4 and I can sneak glances at yours!! You will love the BC--I do!! Accountability is the only reason why I joined.

Job hazard is correct!!! James and I kept drinking coffee last night just to keep our hands warm. We are not used to this cold snap--we have it bad too. I made eldest DS change into jeans when he came down for breakfast in shorts this morning. I was all "I am NOT driving you to school if you wear shorts. And since you are up too late for walking you can go in late and explain why!!" Needless to say, he changed to jeans--and shivered in the car on the way!!! LOL.

Question for a newbie:

It says to pick a vegetable, but it doesn't give an amount. I've practically used half a head of iceburg lettuce today for my lunchtime salad and I need to make sure I'm not overdoing it.

What are your general portion sizes regarding veggies?

OH, another one  (sorry, there will probably be a million before it's all said and done :blush
What do you use to "sautee" your food? I'm a true southerner and it wasn't cooked properly unless it's slathered in butter both while cooking and after. How do I go from using butter (and/or oil) in the skillet when I want to sautee things?

I've read 2 cups per meal for the veggies. I just used almost 1/2 a head of cabbage for lunch. Lol

I just use butter flavor cooking spray to sauté. A little garlic and hot sauce and it has a nice flavor

What is BC?

I mostly used water to saute in. But have used chicken or beef broth on one or two occasions.

BC is BootCamp on another forum we are in. It is a paid subscription and you get feedback about your menus. And I am sorry but we are not allowed to mention the name of the site because it is against TOS here.

I don't add anything to the pan that I am using to cook in, I sear my steak for 2 mins. per side and then toss it in the oven on a non stick pan. When I cook hamburger there is a bit of grease from the hamburger so I don't need to add anything.

For veggie portions I just eat what I need to, I don't measure.

I am joining BC, too. I am afraid this round is going the way of round two, with tiny or no losses. Something is not right.

I saute in water and Mrs Dash often.

I am going to try it with cod soon. We just rcvd some fresh cod right out of our local waters.

Chouter,
I think I recall the join button was in the middle of the page, but lower down the page. And it was a big text to find! lol

Veggies.....if I eat raw veggies like radishes, I eat a large handful. If I eat cabbage, shredded, well hard to say cuz I bulk cut and shred it best I can. I would think that my veggies look on average 1 to 2 cups.

I miss strawberries. I know Molly buys frozen but it is just not the same. Those babies were a life line. I did pick u a lot of red ruby grapefruit and that will be fine.

No apples for me. They stall me big time.

And oh no! I went to Sprouts and they ran out of gingerbread spice tea. so bummed! Next season I will buy it all. hehehehe

Okay, I found it. I just can't see it when I use Firefox, I had to open it in another browser. I don't have a PayPal account, so that will have to wait until DH gets home.

I think I need to update my Firefox browser, but yeah, Ima gonna let DH handle this one. I am Chouter there, but I have never posted. It is a little overwhelming to find my way around. I've been here for so long.

Dawn, what happens if I sign up and then decide I don't want BC anymore? I can't find any info about how to get them to stop charging my credit card.

From what I can tell, they don't charge your card. You decide how many months you want and push the money via Pay pal through your cc or bank
Prepay in method. If there is a different way, I did not see it.

I would sign up for a month and see how you like it.I signed up for more because I have a big trip coming up in March for 10 days. I really want to be off HCG and properly stabilized. Hope it works out! lol

The site is way different getting around. LCF is the easiest to navigate.

You can just contact Biz and let her know you don't want it anymore. You are not locked into it forever!! I got out and then got back in. PayPal and Biz will help you out!

Oh, and I got back in so I could get through the holidays unscathed. So far so good!! She was running a special for us to get through the holidays. I am sure in Jan she will offer another special for those in bc already.

Okay, good to know. I will get DH to sign me up later tonight. I work from 2-7, so after that. Got all my Christmas decorations done today, so pretty!

Dawn, I just finished my egg drop soup! It really hit the spot. I added a bit of garlic and onion powder, but no more salt at all! 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg. It was NUMMY!

I SO miss strawberries. They still have them at Sams and they look beautiful, but they are $8 for 2 lbs, so it's a once a week treat for us. (since everybody has to have some) I so glad I can do apples.

I was gonna ask where you find gingerbread spice tea. Don't have a Sprouts, though.
