I agree with the cucumbers. They look pitiful. I do have radishes and those even lost the appeal because it is cold vegetables.

Making a chicken and then the broth with loads of celery gives me some hot veggies.

How is everyone managing their water intake when it is cold out? I am drinking hot tea and large mugs.lol

Don't worry hon. Just stick to the list and don't forget the recipe sticky we have at the top of the forum. Take one meal at a time. You are going to love the weight loss Sun!

I keep 4 bottles of water on my desk and work on them all day long. I know I have to get my water in at work because sometimes I won't drink anything at all once I get home.

The chicken soup sounds really good, too. I might have to pick up some celery. I can eat it that way but raw just skeeves me out I've eaten the P2 chili for a couple of days now. It's a great cold weather food and a lot easier to fix than I thought.

Thanks for the encouragement. It means a lot to have the support here. I am very happy about the weight loss so far and I know I can keep doing this.

I fill up 2 bottles and drink one fill it up again then drink the other one this way they are at room tempature which is easier to get down when it is really cold out.

Good to know. I looked at the menu and they have a grilled mahi mahi sandwich too. I'm gonna get that and a side of veggies. I can easily not eat the bun

I think the water is one of the hardest things for me. I drink coffee up until one or so, then get busy and forget about it till 4 or 5 and then try to get it all down between 4-8 so I am not up peeing all night.

Molly,
so true. We need each other. Who else can understand the awesomeness of releasing a .5 pound or why we act stingy with 100 grams of steak! LMAO!

Thanks Stevie and Molly...it was horrible, I did not prepare myself enough I guess. He had an undescended testicle that we could not find. They went in yesterday to a)find and pin down or get rid of or b)not find anything at all.

They did find one but it was severely underdeveloped so they had to take it out because it would cause cancer in the future. He threw up in the car from the morphine during wall to wall traffic in Oakland and they gave him an epidural type in his back so he couldn't walk and was really upset because he didn't understand what was going on and kept trying to walk and falling over and he couldn't bend at the waist.

Today it's like it never happened! He is his old self running around and jumping and the nurses said to try to keep him as calm as possible yeahhhh right He has two incisions one in his belly button and one on the lower right of his pelvis. The doctor had only wanted one but they had to go in to remove it. I'm trying to keep him calm so he doesn't bust anything open but I'm sure he'll know when to and when not to since he's doing stuff anyway (which the nurses told me he would lol) Thanks for the thoughts!

Okay so I was down 1.2 after yesterday which was a nice suprise considering my day

Today
B coffee 3 cups lol
L chicken grissini coated w/sweet onions
D steak and tomato I think

I have bunko tonight...who doest eat and drink at bunko?! CRAP

I am glad he is doing so well tody! I am sure yesterday was scary for him, not understanding why his body was not doing what he wanted it to do and feeling sick from the meds.

Great loss!

Good morning everybody...so I drank wine (and some jello shots) at bunko and snacked on the meat tray...I didn't do too bad last night but because of the alcohol I chose not to see the scale this morning lol...I will see tomorrow Disney-yea it was scary but he's tons better, he was 22 months exactly the day he has surgery.

Breakfast-coffee
lunch-grissini chicken w/onions
dinner-?? cottage cheese or steak with tomato or salad

apples-i think that these are bad for me too because i'm losing better without them in my diet but i can't stand the texture of grapefruit/oranges and strawberries are now null/void...dern

I have bunko tonight and it's our annual Christmas party one. We do a dirty Santa ornament exchange and we all bring finger foods to eat. The ladies think I'm doing basic low carb because I don't care to explain to these ladies what I'm doing or defend this diet all night long. I think I'm going to take a simple shrimp tray and veggie tray so at least I know I'll have something I can eat. Try to stay on plan as much as possible. They always have unsweet tea, but those yummy margaritas will be taunting me all night long...ugh!!

Hope your son is doing better. I'm nervous about possibly having the same surgery for my son. He will be 3 on Friday and he's had one testicle that they haven't been able to find on the last couple of check ups. I don't go looking for it myself so I don't know if it's still hidden or not.

Anyway, my menu today is:

B: coffee w/hnh vanilla stevia
L: tilapia fillet w/lettuce, melba (had no idea what to pair with tilapia )
S: 1/2 grapefruit
D: shrimp, cucumbers (or celery), melba
S: orange probably

Got my 4 bottles of water standing by and ready to go.

I tried steamed radishes. I quartered them, put them in shallow dish and nooked for 10 minutes. Then added pepper and a smidge of sour cream (I know. Shhhh)

I can see this with cheese tasting like mash potatoes.

My cod came out great!

I ground up a half a melba toast, coated the fish in a smidge of egg white and cooked it on a hot pan. It was like a fish stick and delish. I am making fish again tonight and maybe all week! lol
