For the record, Im 28 years old 5'8", and i can say that I dont remember being this "small" at least within the last 6 years. I've been heavy since I was a kid, even though I was always active, all the fast food and junk food I ate just added on to my body. My heaviest was probably 360 .. after two kids, wearing a size 28! well i still tried to fit tightly into a 26 (= Now I am in a 22! it doest sound that great compared to those down to a size 10, but its great for me! You can really see a difference in my face, I will post some photos to show the difference soon.

I probably could be losing more, but I am not sticking close to protcol. I have oatmeal for lunch (sometimes with a piece of toast) and then i have a protein (usually chicken or ground beef) and veggie (usually tomato) for dinner, once in a while i have cottage cheese. I drink at least the 64 oz of water a day, and usually plain ice tea for dinner. And sometimes I have a hot chocolate at work because I am soooo cold all the time! I take my drop 12x3 a day and a multi vitamin in the morning.

As long as I try to keep to that, I lose, at least for right now!

Have a good night!
Doing wonderfully!!!
I guess we all could lose more if we stuck closer to protocol, but its good that even if you can't stick to it (it's really hard for me) we can at least find a way to lose weight with the drops instead of throwing in the towel!! KUTGW!!!!!

Then I had my dinner, late, around 7 pm - after I scooped it out of the skillet and onto the plate, I noticed how heavy this stuff was - for a 400-450 calorie meal of eggs and veg, it weighed about 3 lbs! That had me wondering, how was I going to be in the 140s today.

Did that funny thing and weighed myself after dinner to see how much I'd gained, yep, up 3 lbs. Then being silly, and a bit worried, I monitored it to watch it go back down 1 pound then another half pound over the next couple of hours. But stressed I was about hitting this decade in the morning so I took some Senna tea.

Now I confess, my bowels are empty - and I weighed in at 148.5 this morning! I totally didn't need the senna tea, I would probably have come in at 149.5 anyways... it's just funny how 3 lbs of food is vaporized overnight.

Back in a bit with more personals
I can SO relate!! But congrats on getting into a new decade!!

I have to say I am really disappointed as today is end of my first week on the HHCG. So did two loading days and one full week of VLCD which never go more than 800 calories per day. Total loss was only 3.5 pounds and most likely it was all water. I'm not throwing in the towel yet but I have been following the eating plan I used to lose 100 lbs 6 years ago. Apparently that isn't working. So now will continue to eat that way but removing the sad .5 cup of carb you are allowed per day. I'm worried about the working out as I walk one hour a day and lift weights 2-3 days per week. I am a personal trainer so it's in my blood. Can't just stop working out. My education and training tells me I really need that carb for energy but will eat more veggies with a higher carb content and see what happens. UGH!! Our bodies are such science experiments. Why can't they come all the same? LOL LOL

It seems like what I am reading on here is that most of you follow more of a low carb/no carb plan like Atkins?

I enjoy reading everyone's trials and tribulations as it makes me feel better. Have a great Friday!!

Jackie
I know, it's hard when others sometimes seem to lose so effortlessly. Lately I'm trying to keep it al in perspective better. Overall, I'm still losing better than I did on Atkins, even in the beginning my "golden" time. So, I'm trying to stay the course and wait it out. My body has to start hitting the stored fat for energy soon!!

I have a very similar background. I was a 24/26 when I started, and I'm only 5'6". I originally just wanted to be under 200# and to shop in "regular" stores. Now I'm getting greedy . It's definitely a different experience being slimmer. I am still adjusting and I've been a 14 or below for 7 years now. People do treat you differently and I carry myself differently. It's all an odd adjustment. Enjoy it though!!

Nice loss for the week!! Enjoy your weekend!!

Deb-miss you, hope you're feeling better .

I'm still 155.6lbs. Been here all week. Definitely a stall. Regardless of my cals, 500 or up to 1000 one day I'm at the same spot. Kinda' bummed, but gonna' tough it out a bit longer. How long can my body survive on so few calories? It's gotta' tap into that stored fat soon, right? I feel fine

Keep the melting ladies!! Great work and very inspiring!!

You will DEFINITELY bust through this. This is where perserverence and dedication to cause come in, right? You are doing great and pretty soon you will be back in here and we will all be celebrating ANOTHER new low. Just keep doing what you are doing....the body MUST follow!

WOW! trying to catch up on everyone! So many "losers" yesterday and today. I wish I was one of them, but once again, no change. Trying not to get discouraged. Trying a steak day tonight to get things moving...

Great new avatar-obraxton

Asking Santa for more drops for Christmas (and some serious releasing) Beginning to doubt that I'll make 175 for Christmas, but at least I am smaller than I was a month ago!!!

I still cant believe the amount of weight that has been lost on hhcg. Everyone here is so VERY inspirational...

Julie, how long have you been doing hhcg?

I have eczema too..I use Vaseline baby oil gel with cocoa butter and blistex ointment...I use a cream for eczema on my elbows. For moisturizer I use Neutrogenia oil free (Walmart has a store brand also for sensitive skin that works well) And not to mention to stuff I have to use on my hair...It doesn't hurt me so...I guess see what happens for you

I have inherited dry skin...my skin is chronically dry because it doesn't metabolize the proteins at the right rate which makes it thin and unable to retain moisture well. So I went protocol by the book, and there simply wasn't a mineral oil based lotion that would keep my skin from flaking and itching. Yes, started getting eczema patches too.

I finally 'risked' using my good stuff I think on round 3...and absolutely no difference, I lost just as well. So now I use my gloppy lip glosses, thick lotions, lanolin on my feet, etc. YMMV.

I wanted also to mention that after I began supplementing with biotin, I noticed my heel cracks improved a bit. Might be coincidence, but I thought I'd mention it since you suffer also. I've had heel cracks and battled them since I was 18.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is well. My baby has been sick for a few days so I have been out of sorts. Not actively trying to lose right now. Just keeping cals down and protein up to keep me from gaining at the moment. I replace 1 to 2 meals a day with a protein shake. I would like to begin exercising again on Monday. Have a nice evening! We can do this with the support that we glean from our friends here. I find that when I neglect to post, my days are hectic because I am not accountable. I have also stopped putting things into ******. I need to start again. Thanks for all of your support. I will be accountable everyday even though I am not trying to actively lose. Will check in tomorrow.

Oh, I joined the gym last week and despite being on protocol for 10 days at that time, I had a wonderful time on the treadmill and so much energy. I did 30 minutes of walking and some small weights and I felt very good!

As I told you in my journal Jen, you have your hands full right now and hope your sweet baby is better! When your mind is ready to roll again, then you will!.. I'm right there with you!

I'm sensitive to the mineral oil and on the first "round" when I did it by the book, I skipped the lotion. I live in AZ, a DESERT!! and was a dry flaky mess. One of my favorite parts of going "rogue" is lotioning myself silly !

Good for you!! That's what I need to do. I tried my Zumba class back on strict protocol and nearly passed out. I haven't worked out since. I did bounce on the kids trampoline the other day and realized how out of shape I've become. Only took a few months!! I am re-joining my gym soon and need to at least get out and walk. The weather here is beautiful, I have NO excuses!!

I posted my before hcg and during/afters on a different thread. I thought I'd post them here too. I needed to *see* the change.
Before and During/Afters - HCG, post #94 if you're interested .

I'm up a bit today, but I had about 1100cals yesteray. All LC, all on plan, but still no loss and a bit of a gain. The scientist in me just doesn't understand how a body can stay the same weight, and even gain, when on so few calories for a whole week!! I'm not mad so much as just baffled! But, back down to 600 cals tomorrow and through the end of this week as I promised myself I would try to break through this stall and not move on to P3 as I usually do. I'll see if a 2 week stall happens or if I will work through it like everyone else manages to do .

Wow JULIE!! fantastic pics!! you look thinner, younger and HAPPIER!!!!!

Congrats! On your stall only eating 1100 cals or so... good grief.. the science really does not support that happening... maybe you are one who needs more cals to kick off a loss.. but that would mean taking a couple of weeks experimenting and not sure you want to do that now... In any case.. I feel your frustration, because it makes NO SENSE!...

Keep up your great work though, you look WONDERFUL!!

Down .2 today. Hoped for more, but had a cheat and I am SOOO mad but more determined now then ever to realize these drops are too darn expensive and I want this too bad to make such poor choices. I had been good up until then.

Hey everyone and welcome to all the new people that joined the forum since my last post around Thanksgiving.

The holidays this year have been really tough emotionally and I managed to I reverted back to my old habits eating sweets and staying in the house. I also strained my Achilles tendon running on the treadmill two weeks ago and haven't been able to exercise at my normal level. Needless-to-say, the weight is coming back with a vengeance.

Yesterday after consuming two muffins, a kit-kat and some cookies , all before 8 am , I forced myself out of bed, went to a Weight Watchers meeting and I rejoined.

WHEW, it's nice to be able to get that out . . . I was feeling a little embarrassed to post since I not only fell off the wagon, it ran me over repeatedly .

My new experiment will be WW and HCG. I will be on vacation the last two weeks of this month so my plan is to keep up with my workouts, paint my kitchen and read at least two books. Anything to keep from becoming lost in the emotions of not having my Dad and from gaining weight.

Miss you all and can't wait to catch up on all of your posts!

Netrition (the company who sponsors LCF) sells them. Here's the link to their HCG products:

Netrition.com Search

Hope that helps.
