Sooooo instead of having a hard attack from the freaking out I was doing over p3 I got back on p2 after 13 days. I also had a hard time trying to stabalize at a weight I didn't want to be kwim?! Even 2lbs above that drove me nuts! Maybe that's why I gained was worrying all the time about gaining but I couldn't stop it!
I do the protocol while i'm on p2 but I didn't follow protocol for waiting time so....I think I'm half rogue I'm switzerland!!
Now it is day 4 on vlcd r2p2 and I'm crazy (seriously) afraid of p3 again...like deathly afraid. Like I'm good for the rest of my life afraid lol! I don't know what to do or how to do it to not gain weight. I don't know what to eat, what not to eat, how little to eat, how much to eat....
Anyways I just wanted to say that ya'll are such a happy optimistic bunch for pessimistic people like me to listen to, ya'll are great
Low carb friends and the hcg group is all great and I love getting on here it's addicting!!
Anyways...hello!
Heather, this might help you with P3. I've recopied an old post and added the stuff in parentheses.

I am doing this through my doctor. He adds many of his own extra rules and restrictions - I joke that he doesn't think it's hard enough!

Anyway, these are his instructions.

P3 Day 1 750 Calories (I added bacon and eggs for Bfast, rest of day 2 P2 meals)
P3 Day 2 1000 Calories (Kept the Bfast, added fat to one meal, last meal P2)
P3 Day 3 1250 Calories (Added fat to the third meal)
P3 Day 4 1500 Calories (Same as third day, just more of everything)

After that, I ate what I wanted - no sugar or starch, probably around 2,000 calories.

Also, he uses the 3 days WITHOUT hCG method of determining when P3 starts.

You'll have to try again - without stress and fear would be best!

Good Morning everyone!
Thanks, Julie, for your response. You answered my question perfectly!
I am down .6 this morning and couldn't be happier...(well I could BUT I'll take any downward movement!)

I have found that if I increase my fat just a small bit, I feel full longer and the scale still moves (Im going for slower losses and more satisfying meals...)

anyone else found that to be true?

COLD here in the south....19 degrees as I got in my car to come to work with a high of 39! I don't know how people in the north do it! You are some BRAVE FOLKS!

Good morning all!

I have been so good since my recent slip-up on Friday and I'm happy to report that I am back to my lowest weight since I started, I'm VLCDR1D34, and I'm 172.6 lbs. My previous lowest was 172.8 and I am totally claiming that .2 !!!

What happens once I go beyond the 40 days.....do I start posting my results as R2 and start the day count again?

I have a mini-goal in sight....I can't wait to be 165, not only will I finally have a healthy BMI, but I will weigh the same as my BF!!!

Good luck today, everyone---do your best!

Ok. Round one do-over, VLCD1. I started hhcg early November had good results the first week and then just plain fell off the wagon. So, I loaded the past 2 days and am now on the first low cal day again. I did keep the 7 or so pounds off that I lost in November while eating fairly normal so I really believe that the hhcg diet does something I would not have been able to do on my own.
So, here I am again, hoping for self control and motivation. If I can't get the motivation and encouragement from this board, then I won't get it anywhere. I have never seen such a supportive group on any forum!

I found that the days I ate more fat, then was afraid to weigh myself the next day, I usually ended up losing more than normal! Congrats on the .6, that's a nice loss!

I'm still here and rooting everyone on though! So excited to see everyone's progress!

Sorry for your rough week. Take that well deserved break! You really are amazing!

What kind of fat are you eating? I do the coconut oil and mct oil and a cap or two of fish oil but beyond that, I am leery of eating fat. But I may step out and see what happens!

I have so many parties, weekends away, and holidays, that I know it won't be til next year, but thanks to hhcg, I feel confident that whatever stalls happen, self-induced or not, I can get there. My ultimate goal is 140--which seems like a dream, but having lost 10 lbs in 20 days with two major stalls thrown in there, makes me feel like anything is possible!

My gratitude to all of you--

Thanks so much for the response, Salaunsox! It is encouraging that you kept the 7 pound loss! HCG does do something to the body...
According to your stats, we are about the same and I look forward to working with you on this journey. I would LOVE to see the 170's by Christmas. What a great gift to ourselves!

oh you guys are the best! Congrats to all our losers and tweakers--I myself am down another .5 to 168.5--yay!

I have added coconut oil to my coffee in the morning and not only is it making me feel better about not losing all my hair, it is totally helping with my satiety during the day. I am far less hungry during my "hungry hours" and I feel like it is an awesome complement to hhcg. I have to tell you that I used CO all the time when doing atkins, and it never gave me any appetite suppression whatsoever, so this is a lovely bonus.

I also keep thinking about how much I like eating P2 style as a daily habit (not that I don't miss P3 style eating and treats)--and I can see a future where P2 is kind of the "core" of my eating, with added fats being a kind of bonus one meal a day or something--does that make sense? I don't actually like eating much fat--it activates my appetite in much the same way as carbs do. I know most people at LCF have the opposite experience and what I am saying is a kind of heresy--but I think I am in the small camp that feel better and function better with lower fat AND lower carbs.

OK--sorry to ramble. I appreciate everyone's thoughts about what we are doing here--

Yeah!!!!!

I lost my 2 pounds of apple pie AND an additional 0.4 which I am totally claiming as well.

My goal this round is 155 vs your 165 (I am 2 inches shorter LOL). So you have 7 pounds to go and I have 9. WE CAN DO THIS!

Right now I am R2D12 and an even 164. My lowest on R1 (pre cruise and pre thanksgiving) was 162, so I am STILL not in virgin territory, but I can get there.

no this is great because I think what i need is it dumbed down for me ikwim?! I need to still follow a schedule if that makes sense. I'll just have to trade out eggs (allergic) for, oh i don't know full fat cottage cheese maybe? This is great I'm gonna go with this because it does really make sense...i had a hard time jumping in calories too.
so just to re-iterate (sp?) the 1st day of p3 is the first day without the drops (according to your doctor) so that's the first day you up the calories?

At least you maintained it, and have now reset your body. I'm sure you'll lose well this round. Glad to have you back on board.

Paula-glad your weekend "experiment" is still on. I think you'll do fine. It'll probably help you break your stall. At least I hope it does!! I'm thinking that's what I'll probably do this coming weekend. We'll see. Getting close to the 140's!! Woo-hoo!!

Still kinda' stalled here too. 155.6 this morning, so 5 days around the same weight. I'm gonna' tough it out a while longer, through this whole week and see what Friday brings. If I'm still at this weight, I'll probably go up to P3 for the weekend and then lower again on Monday. We'll see. May just stay at P3 through Christmas. Woudl love to be in low 150's though. C'mon body, let more of me go !

Bye, bye apple pie and carrot cake----we are doing it! I will claim any little fraction of a lb that brings me closer to my goal. You are so close to your virgin weight, only two lbs to go.

Where did you go on your cruise? I live in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and from my office I can see the cruise ship dock. It's always nice when the Disney ships sound the passenger horn.... 'When you wish upon a star'

I was actually ON the Disney ship! One the the "drawbacks" of my job is I "have" to inspect Disney Travel Products. I get summoned so to speak to head to Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Cruise and Adventures by Disney. It is a tough job, but someone MUST do it! I will be on the new Disney Dream christening cruise in January, and is what I want to be 155 (at the most) for.

My sister and friends think it is great because I drag them along. Hubby used to come with me, but he got Disney'd out, so he passes most of the time. In May I will be doing the Adventures by Disney to the Grand Canyon, and that one he will come with me (is on his bucket list).

Gee, wish I knew you were there when I was there! Would have popped in. We just meander around the ports anymore, no set excursions. Some ports we do not even get off the ship anymore and call it a spa day.

This is great I'm gonna go with this because it does really make sense...i had a hard time jumping in calories too.
so just to re-iterate (sp?) the 1st day of p3 is the first day without the drops (according to your doctor) so that's the first day you up the calories?
Nope, sorry for the confusion.

Three whole days w/o hCG. Those days are considered P2. Then P3 Day 1 at 750 calories. At least that is what my doc says.
(Some peeps go with 72 hours from last injection which is usually one day shorter.)

IMO, the breakfast could be any protein, but for me, I would definitely want a protein.

Hope I'm helping. I realize it's not very roguey to share "rules".

Ok, so how did you get that job? Talk about a dream job!! SOOO jealous!! I'm sure you'll hit your goal in time. And you'll look and feel fabulous while cruising around!! You're right, btw, I do need to take some time to celebrate this weight too. I just want a bit of cushion for the inevitable little gain I'll have on Christmas eve/day. I truly didn't think I'd see 155 again, ever and am not sure it's really sinking in. I'm always in such a hurry to do more! Thanks!

Deb-you're pretty darned close to that 170's yourself. Once you're back to losing from your break you'll be there in no time. I was thinking about you and how wise you are to take a break and allow your body to adjust to the new "you". Like I said above, I'm always in such a rush that I don't take that needed break sometimes, or only do it for a day or so then back to "work". I'm so close to getting to my "new" final goal I dont' want to be sidetracked. But I often wonder if I'm harming myself eating so little for too long? I hope not and that I stabilize well, eventually .
