Hello everyone, what an inspiring group you all are!

I had a wonderful weekend, we went out to dinner Friday night and I admit that I did eat a few things off protocol, including a delicious slice of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting which made me GAIN 2 lbs! We had another event Saturday night (Las Vegas night fundraiser, lots of beautiful desserts and drinks) but this time I managed to stay away from those items and I've now lost one of the lbs I put on, on Friday.

I am still very proud of myself, tho because for the first time, I did not drink Friday PM or at the Vegas event--I had diet cokes and coffee both nights. I gain really bad with alcohol and I've already promised myself that I am not going to drink at my Christmas party this weekend.

Today's weight- 173.2 and I REALLY want to see those 60's---I'm so close!!!! I know I can do it!

Have a wonderful day, everyone. It's a new week and a fresh start!

Yeah, and the stinking bum made snickerdoodles with sprinkles!!!! I took six of them and put them into a baggie and buried them in the freezer for my 'Christmas break'. Hehehe.

I hear ya. I think I've stalled again on this "cycle" . Always a week into it for me, at least I'm consisitent ! I will see what the next few days bring, but I think my body is looking for a longer break. I hope I can still whittle away a few more lbs. I'm hoping it won't be super hard to lose 10 more lbs. I'm not asking for much . Were you VLC over the weekend?

I have so many parties, weekends away, and holidays, that I know it won't be til next year, but thanks to hhcg, I feel confident that whatever stalls happen, self-induced or not, I can get there. My ultimate goal is 140--which seems like a dream, but having lost 10 lbs in 20 days with two major stalls thrown in there, makes me feel like anything is possible!

My gratitude to all of you--
Congrats on the new decade!

You all are amazing and doing SO terrific! It's inspiring and encouraging! Always better to take a journey with FRIENDS!
Hang tough. you'll be melting and feeling better soon!

Deb-You're a rockstar. We all agree . I think it's great you're resting. If this stall continues I will be joining you. No sense eat VLC and not having a loss. I'll give it a few more days, hopefully to get back to my beloved 155 , then probably move on for maitenance. I was hoping to stay in "loss mode" longer this time, but am a repeat second week staller apparently. Well, I'm not giving up yet.

Have a great week guys!

I caved with apple pie ala mode and put on those same 2 pounds! I know they will come off, but darn- 2 pounds?! I want to get into the 150's and not be in the "overweight" BMI any longer. WE CAN DO IT! we can each get into a new decade. (we just gotta quit with one bite over the whole piece LOL)

I'm still here and rooting everyone on though! So excited to see everyone's progress!
Deb, to have a bad week and be able to maintain your weightloss after the incredible losses you have been having over the last half of this year is simply ANOTHER testament that you REALLY have found what works for you. You have discovered how to work together with your body for maximum results. Nothing to sneeze at and EVERYTHING worth celebrating! So do a happy dance and have a great week doin' whatevah your body wants you to do!!

I had one bite of my daughter's cake and was totally going to stop there but I could not resist, I had to get my own slice-- the frosting was amazing.....sigh.....how can a slice of cake that weighs so little, make me gain so much?

I am also an 'overweight' BMI, but I will be in the 'healthy' range once I hit 165. (I'm 5'9). I know, we can do it!!

I'm enjoying my lunch:

My version of chicken chili.... a can of Ro-tel (anyone else use this?), diced chicken and spices, along with spring mix salad with lemon juice, salt and pepper, yum!

Good late morning everyone!

From what I am reading, it looks like everyone scored a pretty successful weekend which is AWESOME!!

Mzmelissa - rooting you on as you start vlcd tday! Let the losses begin!! Woot Woot!

Marci - Sorry you are feeling in the dumpster today. Hopefully knowing it is just temporary and will soon pass will get you through! Way to put those Snickerdoodles away for later when you CHOOSE to have them and it is in your plan...rather than eating them because they are there taunting you. Snickerdoodles are one of my faves too!

Colleen - If eating one day off plan helps you keep your head in the game....than go for it!!

Paula and Julie - you two are amazing and you both look FANTASTIC!! I know how the scale still has a hold on us even when we are having great success and stalls are stalls no matter where you are, so I know they can be hard to take...but you have the right attitude and approach and I KNOW you will have continued success. One day at a time girls...and don't forget to celebrate and enjoy your current success!

IslandDiva - congrats for the victory of NOT drinking at a social event!! That is a major achievement.

Petchie - love your attitude!! You CAN do this!! Woot Woot!

nitenurse - I think it is great how you are always listeneing to what your body wants! Good luck in your next step!

asia12mb - so nice to have you here and waiting that extra day sounds like the smartest approach!!

torister - LOVE how this plan lets you keep reshaping even while maintaining between rounds! Isn't that the BEST???

chantyl03 - good to see you and food today sounds good!

Ok, so for me... I had a migraine yesterday... and still have remnants hanging on today which is definitely slowing me down during this fast paced, always busy season!!

But still, weightloss is chugging along. .4 down Saturday, 1.5 down yesterday and .5 down today. I am thrilled to see the scale moving down. I am thirilled to see a new decade. Total loss since 11/15 is 19.2#. I'll take it.

As for my eats...I try my best to record everything the best I can in ************. I try to keep my calories mixed up and to not exceed 1200 calories, with an allowance of one day per week. (This was yesterday and I came in around 1500). I have been eating low carb with a lot of high fat (cheese, cream, oil, butter).

Hope everyone has a great week!!!

Hey guys,

Great new weekly thread already! I still need to be catching up on last week! I know I wanted to reply to a couple of you, I think, who had commented on the female hormonal connection with taking hcg - I appreciated the responses, and still want to go back and find them and reply to them properly. I guess our female hormones can be exacerbated because when we burn off fat, we also release extra estrogen that was stored into the fat cells - so that kind of puts us temporarily into a possible situation of estrogen dominance. I know fiber is helpful for releasing excess estrogen, and I'll be looking into it a little more to see if anything else is simple and helpful. But for me right now, my solution has been, to go off the drops for a couple of days from the start of TOM, and when I started back up again, it was only at 30/day which is working well. I plan to increase probably for about 10 days of mid-cycle, and decrease again a week prior to TOM. Hopefully that will help with the raving hormones next time!

I'm on a simple, JUDDD style up day/down day cycle which is working well. I was happy to see the scale move in a downward direction finally today - down 1 lb from my 1 week stall - to 153.

Deb - I had no idea you were having a rough week! I can totally relate and sympathize. Great plan to maintain for a while - and enjoy the holidays! The awesome thing I found for myself last week and that you found out months ago - was that even if we are maintaining or overeating while on hcg, the damage is minimal as compared to if we weren't on hcg!

Selahgal - welcome to your new round! And isn't it awesome when you totally lose your appetite for something like sugar after overdoing it? That's kind of what helps me right now in a way, with the up/down cycle. Not that I plan to eat sugar every up day, but that eating somewhat normally one day gives me a lot of strength for a VLCD day.

I've been doing some light exercise on my VLCD days, and I think it's really helping, because I do it late at night, many hours after I've stopped eating, and it's a low day, so I might easily be tapping into my fat stores. I've been jumping on a mini-trampoline - rebounding - which is also really, really helpful for detox and healing.

Marking my spot.....Starting fresh this morning...trying to get into the 170's (179) in 2 weeks......It's doable if I don't sabotage myself. I'm eating clean today then maybe an eggfast tomorrow just to shake things up.
Everyone is doing great so keep up the good work.

Thanks!! and you're so right, I need to slow down and appreciate where I am!! I really never thought I'd see 155 and to think I'm being so greedy to want to lose even more!!? Hope your headache is better today. I never get headaches at all, and had a real doozy yesterday. Great job on your loss. You're averaging close to 1 lb a day and at higher cal levels. Way to go!! You've def. found what works for you!!

Deb-hope this is a better week for you!! Less stress, and I'll bet you'll even lose a bit while not trying. I think our bodies *know* when we're trying .

Lostfox- I think I'll try some bouncing myself. We just got our kids a new trampoline for Christmas and they would love to have me join them. Hmm, need to add some exercise in anyway. Thanks for the idea!

Just had my leftover steak for lunch. The hungries are subsiding. I'm gonna' be running tonight, so probably just a protein shake for dinner. Hope to get the scale moving again tomorrow .

Hey Julie - glad you'll be bouncing too - big trampolines are soooo fun! And it's such a gentle exercise too. I bet the kids will be very, very happy!

Hope you get the scale movin tomorrow too! You're doing great, so even if the scale takes a minute to budge on the path downwards of the last 10 lbs, I bet you're still losing inches and reshaping. I guess we're around the same weight right now... my mini-goal is to reach 142 in 4 weeks, with an average of 3 lb/week. Hope that works - as long as I am not derailed again, but even if I did ultimately lose one week out of every 4, all it does is set me back with a one week delay and a 2 lb weight regain... Even if that did happen, at least I should be strongly mid 140s by month's end. Here's to journeying downwards with you all

Good evening everyone. So many great things happening here! So excited for everyone. My downward trend stopped this morning. I remained the same. I am being a bit more strict with myself today to see if I have been taking in too many calories which I suspect is the problem. Oh well, holding the same weight beats going up any day!

Quick question...are any of you doing high fat/low cal/low carbs while in phase 2 or low fat/low carbs?

Stay warm everyone!

Thanks!! So, you're gonna' plug away all through Dec. and shoot for the 140's. You've got a good perspective on it. I'll be watching to see how you're doing. I'd like to plug away too, but my stalls kill me! I tend to lose a lot the first week I'm on "plan", then nothing the next week or so. I guess it does average out to about 2.5/week, but I tend to gain in there too, so my net loss is much lower, maybe 1lb a week. But, down is still better than up!

Quick question...are any of you doing high fat/low cal/low carbs while in phase 2 or low fat/low carbs?

Stay warm everyone!

I hear ya'. I'm stuck a bit now too. Expected, but still disappointing! I do kinda' high fat/low cal/low carbs. I don't try to add fat in, but I don't avoid it either. I have eggs, cheese, some butter to cook with, cream (in my coffee ), etc. I try to stick to about 600-700cals most "losing" days, but allow myself up to 800 too. Weekends can be around 1000 cals since we eat out sometimes, and I have a hard time even getting a bunless burger an staying under that. I'm not eating many veggies. Taking a multi vit. and mag/potassium. HTH!

Just made some chicken for the next few days lunch/dinners. Had a protein shake for dinner. So I should do well on the scale tomorrow. If I don't I'll know it's a real stall, and not sodium, bernice, or eating out related. It's fun being my own science experiment

Hello everybody I've been a lurker for a week or so...ya'll are so supportive of each other!!
I accidentally, I think went rogue lol! I did a 40 day vlcd on rx drops and got onto p3...I could not stabalize if you'd a had a gun to my head. I tried everything!
Sooooo instead of having a hard attack from the freaking out I was doing over p3 I got back on p2 after 13 days. I also had a hard time trying to stabalize at a weight I didn't want to be kwim?! Even 2lbs above that drove me nuts! Maybe that's why I gained was worrying all the time about gaining but I couldn't stop it!
I do the protocol while i'm on p2 but I didn't follow protocol for waiting time so....I think I'm half rogue I'm switzerland!!
Now it is day 4 on vlcd r2p2 and I'm crazy (seriously) afraid of p3 again...like deathly afraid. Like I'm good for the rest of my life afraid lol! I don't know what to do or how to do it to not gain weight. I don't know what to eat, what not to eat, how little to eat, how much to eat....
Anyways I just wanted to say that ya'll are such a happy optimistic bunch for pessimistic people like me to listen to, ya'll are great
Low carb friends and the hcg group is all great and I love getting on here it's addicting!!
Anyways...hello!

Hi Heather, welcome to our Rogue Gang!! I stabilized on my first two P3's and only did them for about 2-3 weeks. I don't think I ate much more than I did on P2 tho and that was probably why I was 'stable'. Later P3s were horrid and this last P3/4 which went from Nov. 4 to Dec. 4, I put on SIX POUNDS! Wasn't going to do R6P2 until January but figured if I waited till then I'd gain back even more! NOT GOOD. It also worries me about when I DO reach goal and go into P3 again ... what THEN???

I re-read some articles I'd gotten when I began hHCG and one said the P3 must be THREE FULL WEEKS MINIMUM and NO SUGAR/STARCHES at all. THAT is what resets the hypothalamus [I am NOT spelling THAT again! HA] I'll try to find the article again and share that part. It REALLY jumped out at me cause I don't think I ever REALLY did my P3s that way.

Round 6 P2 is until goal, which may mean six months or more....but I don't care I'm doing it and I'm going to do a REAL P3 this time because I sure don't want to be gaining and losing and gaining and losing all the time!!

P.S. I lived in Vacaville for two years once upon a time when DH was stationed at Travis AFB. Great place!!!

thanks for the feedback...p3 just freaks me out!
What a small world! I've been stationed at Travis for 6 months, I'm a Training Leader here and my husband is in the air pax squadron. We love the area but this base is heavily downloaded with deployments, my hubby will leave in July for 179 days but due to my special duty at least we know I can't go over for 4 years which lets the babes get a little older before I have to deploy.

Actually I was P3 Friday-Sunday. Decided since I was having the supper Friday night to start P3 early. Hopefully we'll both move into new #s soon!

Rotel is to die for, love it! I have also learned to *really* love my spice cans since this WOE started. I'm totally addicted to onion powder on my proteins.

Wow, those are fantastic results for your calorie cycling plan!

Glad you're out of your stall, and I second the trampoline. I haven't used mine lately, but it's really fun exercise. I bounce until I'm winded, listen to music till I recover and bounce some more. Hopefully the neighbors don't watch.

I think stabilization is the hardest part. And it seems like the longer round you do, the harder it is. I agree on the 2 pounds...that's 20% of my usual loss, and I don't like to be at the top of my window so it makes me mad!

Well, back to 154.6 and this will be VLCD 7. 1 pound drop from my weekend weight. This will be my sixth day weighing in the 154s...hoping it will be my last and I'll get into virgin weight again!

Waving hello to everyone I missed!
