Just venting. I will eat lunch at 1 as scheduled, hate to make broth just to het me through 45 minutes. I think I ate less than ususal yesterday, that may have something to do with it.
I chew Trident w/Xylitol if I'm hungry with no problems. I bought the orangy citrus kind and the watermelon. It's less than 5 calories per piece and yesterday I had two pieces. I had a nice loss this morning too so don't think it affects me. Gives me something to do with my mouth for a while

No worries! I know what you mean about that dang scale. Before HCG, it was a real drag watching the same few pounds come and go.

I wish I could chew gum. I miss it, but I have a nerve issue in my face and chewing gum triggers a terrible flare.

It is a great suggestion though!

Sometimes the protocol spoils us and -0.5# seems small!!! It's okay, think back to LC and how happy you would've been with 1/2 pound in a DAY!!!

Oh my, that sucks! Maybe a sugar-free hard candy or something? I'm sure if you look in the sugar-free section you can find something that's low calorie. I think Life-Savers may make a sugar-free version.

I've been sporadically lurking during my second round. P3 started for me on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, but I went crazy and didn't stick to no sugar/no starch, so I gained a lot back over the course of 4 days visiting with family and friends. Since I was well over the 2 pound range when I got back to plan, I didn't do a steak day as the protocol says that strict dieting is necessary if you don't do the steak day on the day you experience the gain. I've been eating less of P3 foods to get the weight back down, and I'm nearly within range, but I'm curious as to what I should have been doing. Should I have done a series of steak days to get back in range? What does strict dieting mean if we miss our opportunity for a steak day? Thanks.

Thank you very much Stevie! I absolutely love it now! Growing up, I really wanted the name Jessica (Child of the 80's/I know a ton of Jessica's!), but now i'm very happy with it! My mother was a smart lady! LOL!

I started my loading days on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. My "loading days" aren't to out of the norm for me, because I have a pretty bad diet. I simply love to eat! Don't know why, but I was feeling that my day started to revolve around when/what I would eat next.

As far as hunger goes, I do get hungry! But it's not that "I'm gonna die if I don't get something to eat" type of hunger. I get hungry around meal times, I eat the small portion, but i'm full as if I ate a large portion. THAT is what I am liking about the program. I have to admit to myself that I have a problem with over eating and really need to get control of it. In college, this never seemed to be a problem, but two kids later (and lack of excersice) really makes a difference!

Well, I just wanted to give my two cents on the protocol and where it is taking me. I'm really excited to see my outcome! Best of luck to everyone!
That is me in a nutshell!!!

On my second round 4th day and already down almost 8 lbs!! Love it! I am only 2.8 lbs from last round's LDW. Can't wait to see what next week brings!!

B-Apple
L-Chick Breast, Pickles, Melba
S-Chick Breast, cucmbers, melba
tea & water
Snack-Strawberries

I know totally boring day, but I am stuck at my offcie until 6 waiting for parents to pick up their Girl Scout fundraising orders. I didn't have the groceries of the time to prepare anything fancy. With all this talk of grapefruit I will be heading to the grocery store to get some during DD dance class later.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I did 36 days, a short 12 day P3 and jumped back onto P2. I do the drops. This is my version if cycling. So yeah, jump back in. If you waited 14 days, it is recommended you load - but 12 days, you are good to go.

My two cents Heather

I really messed up w/my first round...I didnt have a scale yet and bought individually wrapped chicken breasts....Suppose to weigh in at 112g's WRONG...I was having to much then....
The grapefruit I find that I like that way better than the apple....

I try to weight everything before cooking. Last night the family was having Hamburger Helper and the meat was frozen so I weighed it after. I couldn't do this without a scale. I am really bad with portion control.

I need my scale too.
I have found, for me, that for chicken 100g raw usually =70g cooked so I generally go with that.
And I measure out about 9 of my (fairly small) precooked/shell-off deveined shrimp per serving. That is about 80g.
Beef is harder because I mix the cabbage with it all in one skillet so I know that 1 pound of very lean ground beef plus half a head of cabbage=5 servings. So far that has worked for me. If I hit a stall or gain I will have to readjust things a bit.

After my first round tom came and I didn't stabalize, we discussed it on here and I counted it as an interuption because it was less than 14 days. Jumped back on p2 and when I finished no where around my cycle I did stabalize.
Good luck.

Its hereeeeeee!!!!!
I got the hcg, homeopathic B-12, and the stevia vinegarette.

they added a snicker with a label that said happy gorging and a fortune cookie that said Simmeon says: follow protocol, get skinny.

That is so cute, I think I love them....

I have pre-cooked shrimp I just weigh it at 100g's
Beef and cabbage sound good....Do you add any broth or just let it cook down like that?????
TY for the tip w/the half lb of beef and cabbage....I gotta give that a try.
I have been eating the p2chili, and just chicken w/of course spinach...
W/the shrimp I like to dice up celery real small and add a dab of franks hot sauce...Kinda like a shrimp cocktail.

the shrimp coctail Idea is great~ I am not all that fond of shrimp so choking down the 9 pieces is plenty usually!

Beef and cabbage: I just brown the ground beef, add about 4oz of water and 1/2 tsp (ish) of better than bullion and the rough chopped cabbage and let the water cook away. LOTS of salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.
