Hi Ladies,
I am starting today and want to join you. I did my first hhcg round in August and lost 17 lbs. I did not do well on P3 & P4, mostly because I just didn't do what I was suppossed to do. I tried to start another round in October and for some reason just could not do it. I was starving all the time. Plus I wasn't posting here - being part of this group really helps me stay on plan. I ordered a new brand of drops (was using a spray) and hoping that will help with the hunger. I really need to lose about 30 - 40 lbs at this point. I'm 5'1" and should really weigh about 115 but I have never in my adult life been able to maintain that weight. I would be very happy to get to 125 in 2 rounds, a weight I was able to maintain for years. So anyway, I am back, I see some familiar faces and lots of new ones. Looking forward to losing again!!! |

Back with a quick question.
I've started using a prescribed progesterone cream - any experienced hcger's know if I should stop that during my P2? |

Exactly - my progesterone levels are zero, which makes me estrogen dominant which is not a good thing for me. So the cream is providing what my body is not making naturally. Thank you for the input - I'm going to continue using it through P2. |

Good morning, I'm down another 1lb today. This is VLCD 4 for me. 3lbs down from my post load weight...2.2 down from pre-load weight. I'm trying to get excited, but I can't until I get out of this set point range.
Congratulations on the losses everyone! |

I do have some veggie ground meat replacement, but I haven't eaten it since I started. If my losses are good in a week or so, I might try making the P2 chili with it and just analyze the nutrition content for the day so it's on par with protocol. I've been eating 1 apple and 1/2 grapefruit daily. Veggie is mostly cabbage or cucumber. Lots of tea and black coffee...and water with lemon. |

I wanted to share something that worked great for my on my 1st P2:
zest, pulp & juice of 1 lemon stevia to sweeten some type of citrus flavored seltzer, maybe 4 oz. ice blend until ice is crushed, then freeze. It makes quite a bit and really helped me in the evenings when I was looking for "something" Last edited by MellaBella; 12-01-2010 at 10:19 AM.. |

Hello ladies.
I haven't been here in a week. I've been trying unsuccessfully to get back onto HCG for a couple of days, but didn't do well and am finding and hoping for more commitment from myself today. I haven't gotten on the scale since Thanksgiving. I didn't want to risk being distracted by a few pounds back on the scale. Stevie - that tea sounds yummy! Welcome MellaBella!! Congrats to all those that are dropping!! |

I took my burger/cabbage portion and added some beef broth to it and also my Wasa Cracker -- OMG YUM! I couldn't eat all of it, it was so filling.
I'm glad I enjoyed it, because I was sitting beside my DH and watching him eat chicken n waffles, mashed potatoes and lima beans. ![]() |

So far so good with these new drops I am using; I ate my first meal at 4:30, and not because I was hungry but because I thought I should
I was very hungry last round so I'm hoping to do better with these drops.I had a salad of romaine, a big tomato and lean ground beef sauteed with some chili powder, cumin & ground chipolte. Then I doused the whole thing with some hot sauce. It was very good. For dinner I'm going to try Gracie's cottage cheese, tomato, melba toast recipe with some swiss chard. And if I need it I will have some lemon ice. What a difference it's making for me posting to this thread. I think that was the missing piece when I tried to restart in October and just couldn't get it together. |

Sorry for the late posting. Down .25 this morning. At least the weight is still sliding to the left (doctor's). Yesterday's menu consisted of 12 oz cabbage, 3.5 oz beef (96/4), 3.5 oz shrimp, one lemon and an apple. I was hungry last night and did not sleep well.
Today's menu has been apple, orange, lemon, 16 oz cabbage, can low sod. beef broth, 3.2 oz cooked and drained (96/4) ground beef. Put all ingredients in a pot (except the fruit lol) added sea salt, cayenne pepper, onion salt, and two cans of water. Ate it for both lunch and dinner. Apple mid morning and orange mid afternoon. The lemon I use for my gallon of water each day. I hope to see a better drop in the morning.

Today was really hard, I forgot my drops at home so didn't get my mid day dose. I was starving and exhausted. I'm so glad to be home and fed. I also haven't had enough water but I'm having about 16 oz right now and then I will have a huge pot of tea.
