Great! Love the Omaha plan

Princess-What is your meal plan? While taking the hcg you should definitely be losing something more than 2 lbs. Can you post a sample menu. As we're all rogues, there isn't a plan to follow per se, but maybe we can make some suggestions to help get that scale moving!! bc/ I feel your pain though!

Chantel/Stevie- Thanks!! You're so sweet!! Feeling good!! Are you in maintenance mode or cycling back again? You're so skinny already!! I know you're shooting for a new low number . Can't wait to hear how maintenance goes for you! You've done so well maintaining your BIG loss for so long, I hope the hcg really does reset your hypothalmus and it's easy. I'm hoping to stay in the mid 150's through the holidays and then lose 10 more in Jan. We'll see. I never thought I'd see the 150's again, let alone dream about the 140's!! Simply amazing!! Thanks for the pop-in. Been missing you!!

I'm curious...did you stay on the drops 30 days? 40 days?

I will freak if I can lost 30 lbs this round! Basically will be at goal with only one round. Woohoo!

KUTGW Ladies!!
This is just a sample menu from yesterday:

B - most mornings coffee with HWC
L - 3 scrambled eggs, hwc, 2 breakfast sausage links
D - Baked chicken breast (with skin), cauliflower with shredded cheese & sour cream
S - cashews

Basically that is my menu. My lunch is usually something like scrambled eggs or some sort of protein with a fat. Dinner is always protein mixed with a veggie and some form of fat. Snacks may or may not happen but when they do they are not a lot of food.

Thank you for your warm welcome and kind words. I am so very thankful that you so bravely journaled your experiences and then created a place for all of us to come together. So, no, no, no....I bow to YOU!!

Thanks! I think we're pretty similar. I'm around the same weight and am shooting for about 10-15 lbs more to lose. I was stuck at the low 180s for the past year while following LC. I am so thankful I've found hHCG and am losing again. I hope you find success in it too. I did a clean Simeon's round, by the book, during Sept. and went from 187 (post load) down to 165. I was thrilled!! Then I decided to go rogue and have added back fats and higher levels of protein, upped the calories most days to about 700-800, and cylce back and forth. I took a LC higher calorie break back in October for a week or so, and just took 10 days off and ate pretty freely during that break. I've found, for me, that I lose better if I take "breaks" like this and then buckle back down to lower calorie again.

I have found that to lose, I need to follow the calorie suggestions of Dr. Simeons, but I don't follow his meal plan. I usually eat LC, so I too have cream in my coffee and focus on protein and healthy fats. I keep my calories under 800 most days. That's how I got the scale moving.

Have you entered your foods in ****** or some similar program? Do you know what your calories look like in a typical day? I actually weigh my food now to get an idea of how many calories I eat in a day. ****** is a pain, but helpful. I don't want to offend you, but could it be a simple portion/calorie issue? Since you're so close to goal, just following a LC eating plan with hHCG may not be enough to get the scale moving. Lowering the calories while doing LC and hHCG really works, and the hHCG plus ketosis keeps the hunger at bay. It's great!

I HTH. I know the frustration of not losing and feeling like you're trying everything. I hope thing start moving for you soon! Sorry if I'm being too presumptuous in giving advice. I just want everyone to enjoy the losing part too!!

Helllloooooooo up there. I lived in Cedar Park and then Leander for many years. Lived the NW Austin scene for quite some time (and still do). Now, I am totally digging South Austin! Austin is just such a great city!

Hello Ladies!

I just love reading everyone's info.. so inspiring! I am just trying to get rid of a measly 2 pounds before I leave on tuesday for Las Vegas.. Just want to see 153.4, then see if I can maintain while I am there, then kick it back up to lose the rest once I'm back home ! I'm a workin' on it!

I am VLCD today. I had liquids until lunch, then 2 eggs cooked in coconut oil. Then indulged a little on sugar-free (sweetened with erythiol and ogliofructose), chocolate.. no sugar and good fats in it, but something about it bothered my stomach! It was high in fiber because of the ogliofructose, so maybe that is it.. Anyway, I had too much, probably 250 cals worth and some unsweetened almond milk. Then had some fiber ( a psyllium blend with other good fibers in it) Then the plan was to have a green smoothie with just cucumber, spinach and kale, and some turkey kielbasa and cabbage I made in the slow cooker. But my stomach is bloated and I'm not hungry yet. Since this way of eating has made me cut back on fiber, I'm thinking maybe I had too much all at once!

Should I just skip it? Or do I need to get the protein in.. hmmm.. what do you think?

Yes I will definitely share any info I get from the conference

Thanks Julie. I do not think that you were being presumptuous. To be honest with you no I don't think that I have a portion control issue at all with food. If a want some sugar free chocolate I will tell myself that I can have no more than three and that is it. Thanksgiving for example, I had this plate full of low carb food and began to eat. I ended up not being able to eat most of what was on my plate and stopped. An example of our dinner tonight was pizza and wings. I ate the toppings of cheese and pepperoni off the pizza and three wings and then I was full and done.

I have put my calories into ****** many times before and usually they are around 1200. The last time I put it into ****** my calories were 1070 with 59% fat, 32% protein & 9% carb.

I decided to do the Biggest Loser Bootcamp and Jillian Michael's 30 day shred this week to see if it will shake some things up. If I can get into size 8 pants sometime soon then I will call goal and continue to work on toning up.

Princess,

I can tell you that cheese and nuts stall me and some others. Maybe cut those out, go with lower calorie protein choices and some favorite veggies.

I love reading this thread though. I love the way everyone keeps working to find what is best for them and all the support that is shown for each other.

Good luck everyone!
Hey Joyful!

HCG stressed me out too! I know what you mean. Finally I had to take it easy, reduce my weekly weight loss goals, and try to figure out how to make it work for me with less stress. So far, the calorie cycling has been helping because I don't have to be perfect each day And then, trying to approach it from a place of an opportunity to spend a couple months focusing on healing my body, detoxing the fat, rebuilding and eating simply.

Guys, I'm just catching up with reading the thread and wanted to give a quick update for where I'm at now:

Today was a super low day, and a fast from breakfast, with the exception of a bit of coconut oil and a splash of dari-free milk. Finally - the raging appetite and hunger has subsided - it was tough keeping it only to a high day yesterday as well as the day before. TOM came way early, so I'm thinking I have been having a hormone problem, and my dosage of hhcg was too high for my second week. My second week, I lost all the benefits of appetite control and lack of hunger that I had experienced my first week. I'm off the drops for 24 hours right now, and will probably wait until tomorrow night to start up again - kind of following the Simeon's protocol for what to do with TOM there - because finally my appetite actually feels perfect right now, despite having been off the drops.

When I go back on, I'm going to have to play with my dosage, and likely will have to go lower. Perhaps it works with female cycles, and I'd need to increase it around mid-cycle. I just know now that whenever I have a lack of appetite control while on the drops - something is going on with my hormones, and probably my hcg dosage needs to be played with. I know that I shouldn't feel a lot of hunger or cravings while on hhcg.

I'm going to continue catching up now

Almost everytime I first start VLCDs, I get stomach bloating/gurgling I think from Candida. But I noticed you are using coconut oil which tends to help with die off. Those sugar alcohols can be killer too. Hope your tummy feels better soon. Warm broth usually helps mine.

Yes, on low carb 1200 calories a day I would generally lose 2-4 pounds a month. That just didn't work for me anymore...such a struggle for such poor results. I hope you find something to work for you. I haven't tried the drops with low carb because I'm afraid my body would not do much...cause it hadn't for 3 years for me.

Wow, what a great attitude. I think I need to read your words every day!

Well, we had a great dinner last night, found someone for DD to hang with so it was just me & DH. I made pretty good lowcarb choices. DH thoughtfully devoured both dinner rolls quickly so I wouldn't suffer staring at them.

I'm not pleased with the weight loss this week this is my fifth day in a row at 154. Things have got to pick up next week!

Happy Saturday!

Ok...my first week back on plan wasn't too bad. I lost 2 days worth of losses because of my attack of the rice krispies but overall it was pretty good. I started post Thanksgiving at 219.8 and this morning I was at 213.4...I'll take it!

I'm hoping next week I'll finally get back to my ldw and move onto some new territory. I feel good that I actually stayed on program...I get so down on myself sometimes that I can't do it....I can...I've proven to myself that I CAN and I WILL!

Have a great day!

I miss you to! I didn't do the latest challenge in the challenge groups because I have so much going on. Itis funny how we can dream of a new low, it seems possible with hcg. Right now I am cycling, holding a new low right now. My DH would like me to just stay where I am but I explained I would like to get to 135 and anticipate a 5 pound leap! I do not know if 2 pounds is a reality. Time will tell. I have been dabbling a bit on the dark side and adding more protein, salsa and cottage cheese. Will see how that goes. Very happy for your progress!!

Glad you had a good time last night!! A date? I've heard those are fun! Sorry the scale isn't moving this week for you!! I know how frustrating that is. I'll be there again soon. You're getting closer to goal, and I know you're not a fast loser normally anyway, but I too would love to see the numbers dropping quickly!! You're still doing amazing!! !! and this time of year to be losing, or even maintaining is great!!

Colleen-good perspective on your week. Even with a sugary cheat you lost well!! New week and you'll be losing even better I'm sure!! KUTGW!!

Lostfox-that's interesting about the hormones and hunger. I've been really fortunate that since I've gone rogue, and cut out all the fruit and toasts I haven't had much hunger at all. I was STARVING the first 9 days of strict protocol when I first started and was miserable!! Hope it's better for you this week.

Princess-hope that plan works well for you. Once I hit my goal weight and move off the VLC diet I will add more exercise back in. I tried my Zumba class one time, on 600cals, and nearly passed out. Not worth it. I'm just eating enough protein to maintain my muscle mass and then will tone it all back up when I lose this last 10 lbs. At least that's the plan . Wish you much success!!

Miasophia - you had sugar alcohols and added fiber in? I'd be so bloated and in the bathroom all day!! Oh the stomach pain!! I can't do sugar alcohols at all anymore. Which stinks, b/c all the commercially available SF desserts, that taste so good, contain them. I did a buffet in Vegas and indulged in some delcious SF desserts. I nearly died about an hour later!! Hope you feel better today!

Dessa-You'll be in the 150's soon enough! Is today weigh day for you? Hope you show a big loss this week!!

Well, I am happy to report that I am at my goal of 155 this morning!! Woo-hoo!! This is my all time low weight as an adult. I hit it for a week or 2 back at the end of 2006. I wasn't doing it in a healthy way at that time, and wasn't able to maintain that weight (obviously). But, this time around, I am really feeling good. I am even going to shoot for a decade lower as my final goal. For now though, I'm so happy to see 155 on the scale !!!!! I plan to stick to the VLC portion of my plan until I stall out (likely next week sometime). Usually around this point I start losing about 0.2lb a day, until it stops all together or climbs up a bit. That'll be ok. I never thought I'd be here again and am just so thrilled!! I will try to take updated pics today. I don't see the loss in the mirror, but am hoping the pictures will help. The clothes tell the story for me, but I just don't see it yet.

Have a great weekend!!

Julie! Goal!! Congratulations! You are where I wish to be--so awesome--

released another .5 lbs this morning to 170--aching to see those 160's again! soon--although I am going to an event tonight and may have a martini!!!!! So--I am sure alcohol, even carb-free alcohol, doesn't have a great impact on this woe--we shall see!

Yesterday, I would have sold my first born for a piece of cake! I was carb craving sooooo bad. I held out though and ate 2 stalks of celery.

Released 1.2 overnight! Cravings seem to be gone as well.

I did find Bonomo's turkish taffy for sale on Vermont Country Stores website! I think that everyone over the age of 50 is getting their favorite flavor for Christmas. Nothing like smacking a bar of turkish taffy like you did when you were 7!

weirder and weirder and weirder.

Today I'm 10 pounds down from my weigh in Tuesday. I am now totally convinced those scales are posessed!

I have been without diet soda 2 days! Headache from hell, but I remember my Atkins days, diet soda or Kool-aid would stop my loss in its tracks. I only ate one meal yesterday, but it was a botana lunch at work and I ate a good amount. Fajitas, chicken, sausage, avocado, cheese....alll sooooo goooodddd!!!

Stocked up on Lipton tea bags, bought more ACV (seems to help me with water bloat) and hanging in tough....

Down .4 today. Not disappointed because since I've started this, I have had some loss everyday. Can't say that before I started taking the drops. I have also noticed that when I eat, I get full much sooner than I did before.

Proud moment for me yesterday...watched hubby eat fried ice cream for dessert and I didn't have any. Thought for a minute I wanted some, but then remembered how much faster I am losing this time and didn't want to ruin it for just a dessert.

Great releasing everyone! Julie, I can't wait to see numbers like yours!!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!

Thanks guys!! I'm really excited to be at this goal weight!! I am still in a bit of shock that I made it back here. I only reached it briefly 4 years ago, and couldnt' make it stick. I bounced up 10 lbs that next year when my dad died, then 15 in 2009 when I turned 40. Then up and down 5lbs all this year. I was beginning to accept that I would be stuck there. It wasnt' bad, I'd maintained most of my big loss from 7 years ago, and was a nice "normal" size. But I still wantedt o be thinner. I'm so happy I gave HCG a try. I was a huge skeptic at first, but if it works for me, it'll work for anyone!!

Dh took us to a fabulous little Mexican place for dinner tonight. I couldn't find something safe for my plan, and I'm trying really hard to keep the calories low and stick to "my plan", especially if the scale will keep moving. Had I been stalled for a week I would have indulged . So, I walked down the strip mall and got a cheeseburger. Probably more calories than I would have had at home, but clean, LC, and plan friendly ! So, I wanted to share that little victory!!

And, I just finished dipping my cake balls in chocolate. They look and smell delicious, but I don't even want to try one!! Very cool!!

So, just wanted to share my proud strength at resisting (I Mexican and chocolate!) We can do this guys!! Even at Christmas!!

Petchie-great job!! Nice loss!!

Quoizoid-not sure about that scale, but 10lbs is great!! WTG!!

KUTGW!! You're all losing well!!
