Marking my spot...hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Today is day 1 for me. I plan on continuing my way of life until I finish up. I didn't go too far off course, but I'm ready to start losing again.

Are you following Protocol exactly? Just wondering since you were concerned about eating the same things for lunch and dinner..

It really should not matter, I have done that lots of times when I had no time to get other foods... it is probably just a natural stand still... no way you can gain on so few cals.. Don't fret... it will go away... only water...

Hey ladies!

Sorry I've been laying a bit low, I'm so busy and I still have another response to make, but wanted to pop in to say hi! Hi MiaSophia! Glad you're here! (We met at another hcg board).

Shooting for a low day today, and hopefully I'll get the scales moving again soon. Back again soon.

Carina

Down another 1.8 pounds this morning...
Went out to lunch (working lunch) and had a Zaxbys grilled house salad...Hope that doesn't cause a gain tom...Wondering if I should avoid eating dinner.
Any suggestions?

Well if you are not hungry, then don't eat dinner. If you ARE.. then eat.. Simple but effective... SOMETIMES... so what is in the salad? I don't know what Zaxbys is... need to google...

Sounds good! I don't see how that can make you gain anything... except maybe water if you aren't used to carbs.. from the veges of course... don't worry though, even if it does cause you to retain water.. it will be GONE soon! .. no doubt.

Hi Everyone-

I started hHCG 11-24-10. I'm glad to find all of you so I have some people to talk to about this.

Here's how it's going so far:

Preload: Didn't know I should have weighed myself, so I don't know.
Postload: 150
R1P2D6: 143

I'm almost following Simeon's protocol:
B: Coffee, water
Lunch: 4 oz meat, 1 1/2 cups veggies, Wasa, greek yogurt
Dinner: See lunch.
Coffee, water and tea during the day.

I don't really like fruit and prefer to keep my protein intake higher, so I eat the yogurt instead. When I count the calories, it seems like I'm hitting about 650 per day.

I'm going out to dinner next week and am not sure how to handle it - my inclination is to order meat and veggies and have one drink and see what happens. Does anyone know what works best? I usually drink something like a martini or a rum and diet coke, so I'm not getting too much sugar there.

I also don't know exactly how I'm going to manage P3. I know I need to up the calories, but I have pretty high cholesterol and am not really comfortable eating as much fat as I see people around the Low Carb Friends boards say they eat. (My cholesterol levels are genetic - lots of very high cholesterol levels and lots of heart disease in my family. I usually do pretty well on the meds and no more than 30% of calories coming from fats.) Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

HI WELCOME!!

I am no expert on cholesterol, but I am pretty sure there is lots of information here on this board about it.. Some say it is not fats that cause the problem but sugars... research is always best.. and you know your own body better than anyone!

You don't have to eat lots of fat in P3. The rules just say you can eat anything except sugar and starches. Eat what you would normally eat on P2, but MORE. Except the starches.

I am sure there are more informed folks here than I am... Marci? Where are you?.... Marci is a wealth of information.

Good luck though, with continued losses!!!

Okay, then I won't worry about it - I"ll just up the amounts and add in a moderate amount of fat.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I am just cruising by to cheer everyone on!

Your enthusiasm is kind of making me twitch to go get my drops. But I am back to Atkins now, and I think it is the best choice since I have been ordered to reduce stress and something about hcg (even rogue style) was stressing me out!

I love reading this thread though. I love the way everyone keeps working to find what is best for them and all the support that is shown for each other.

Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone and whhhheeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww....I have finally completed the task of reading through ALLLLL of Deb's Journal and ALLLLL of these Rogue Non Simeons threads!! I must say, this took at LEAST a week...maybe, I don't know, it's kind of a blur now. However, since I have been following along/lurking since-what?-late August, I feel like I have been here all along. Well, I guess I have, just a little behind the times.

Anywayyyyy, my story: After hopping on the scale after a long time in denial, I was to discover I was at my highest weight.....EVERRRRRRR! Booooo!! I had been researching HCG for over a month - obsessively - and had already bought the HCG and was ready to start. Just to clarify, I was not in so much denial that I did not know I needed to lose weight , I just did not expect to see the numbers I saw on the scale. But I chose to realize that, like it or not, this is where I am and that I cannot go back into the past I can only move forward.

So forward I marched, with HCG (RX) under the tongue! I began my load days on November 13th but did not gain or lose anything during those two days so I just called my start on November 15th.

My stats: Start: 248.2
Today VLCD 18: 231.4

Total loss thus far: 16.8#

I did strict, by the book for about the first 10 days but I was so hungry. I would make it through most of the day doing fine, then after dinner....it was torture. It was like a massive case of poision ivy just irritating me alll night long. So because I was so hungry, it would be all I could think about - food, food, food, food. Grrrrrrrr!!!!

I, too, was skeered to death to deviate from the protocol. In fact, I was just waiting to gain weight from just thinking about it.....NONSTOP.....every night!!!!! Seriously, it was ridiculous. I may be fat, but I have NEVER obbsessed about food like I did when I was on strict protocol. Add to that being tired and weak and dizzy...ugh!

So we just happened to be moving one day, and the weakness, dizziness and cramping became so severe from the exertion that I deviated from protocol by adding a little protein, mixing vegs and adding a little fat. I have never looked back. I was so happy to discover fellow rogues. So, I have found my home, if you'll have me! You are all so honest and kind and encouraging and inspiring. Feels like we are all trying to achieve the same goal and we can truly be ourselves in here without feeling like we are doing something wrong because we are listening to our bodies and doing what works for our individual needs. That is a true blessing and something I know I need, as I am sure many people who are trying to lose weight need. We are so often our own worst critics and we beat ourselves up enough. No outside intervention required!!!

I very much look forward to being here with all of you fine ladies!! So nice to have met you all!!

WELCOME!!!! Very happy to have you... you are a REAL TROUPER to have read all of that!... I bow to you....

You are doing FANTASTIC!! I think you know how I felt also, if you read my journal, and alot of what you found out about being strict is what I experienced too... I just physically could not do it any longer.. At least we have found a place to congregate and talk about what works for us!!

Looking forward to all your contributions here, you sound very much like us and will fit right in with our sillyness.... LOVE IT!!!.. please post often!!

Good morning everyone,

Just a quick hi before I'm off to work. I am back down to 214 so it took me a cpl of days to lose what I put on with my one night of looniness...why does it come on fast but doesn't go off as fast... quite annoying...but anyway...I have ww tomorrow so I would like to be down from the last time I went 2 weeks ago.

Have a great day....I'll be back later to read!

Good morning everyone!

This is such a happy, positive community and I love how we all have so much in common. Sometimes when I'm reading people's posts, it sounds exactly like me talking! I'm still a lurker but I wanted to mark my spot and ask a few questions. I'm finally down below my pre-Thanksgiving weight and I've learned the hard way that alcohol REALLY sets me back, almost 4 days (only 2 screwdrivers!). I'm nervous as we are going to a Las Vegas Night party this weekend and then my company holiday party is right around the corner. I am really going to try and resist, it is not worth it!

So, I'm VLCDR1D30 and I'm down a little more than 22 lbs. I am planning on going the full 40 days, I just love the diet, I feel so energized, happy and skinny. I don't mind the food at all, it's so easy when you are restricted, otherwise I go out of control. I know that some of you have gone past the 40 days, I just ordered new drops and I want to just keep it going until I reach my goal. What are your thoughts?

Have a great day!

Suzanne

Good morning everyone! Already having a rough day at work, so I am taking a break (8:50 am here...so sad I need a break already) and I decided to come see how my new friends are doing! Sounds like you are doing great!
Dessa's post about us all being LOSERS may me smile and so did reading about how everyone else is doing well learning how their bodies adjust on HCG!
I am happy to report that after my lunch at Zaxby's and fried ranch chicken wings for supper, I am down .6 of a pound. Going to be a bit more careful today because the scale may reflect my higher calorie day yesterday, tomorrow when I get on it. I dont know yet. I am still really new to this.

Here's saying THANKS for cheering me up...now...back to work! Happy releasing everyone!
