I had another good loss. stepped on the scale 2x to be sure~down 1.2 for a total of 11 pounds in the past week. Not too shabby! I seem to lose better when I have ground beef and cabbage and skip the evening fruit. Dropping the evening fruit seems good, but I don't want to go too far under 500 calories since I don't eat the wheat allowed on the plan.
DH said I look thinner.
Still having some joint pain and stiffness and muscle fatigue. I am going to start gentle stretching today. see if that helps. I am taking my vitamins and supps.
Jabbok how many days is that? what day are you on?

Ok today is one of those days when I think about an interruption on Tday and then going longer on P2 after my break day. I can go to the 6th and still have my 3 weeks till P4 and christmas. Starting another round on New Years only gives me a week in P4 though. I know a lot of you guys skip P4 altogether.
I might change my mind 16 more times between now and Tday LOL.

So, Anyone else on alcohol free drops? I am thinking of looking for the ones with alcohol for the next round, Just for the preservative factor.

Molly, I have bought one bottle of alcohol free and IMO, they didn't work as well as the drops with the alcohol. I was having wicked cravings and while I wasn't exactly hungry, I caved anyway.

Week 2 this round was a toughie. I barely lost anything, although my -1.2 yesterday and my -0.8 today have put me into a new decade. But I feel thinner! I'm the lowest weight I've been in 4 years, and when I've gotten this low in the past it has been via some pretty intensive exercise (such as 20-30 miles per day biking). I still have a ways to go, but I am really happy.

The only downer is that I went and bought 4 bras earlier this year that are nicer than the plain old Target bras I usually buy, and now they are definitely getting too big. The cups are gaping at the top. Oh well, I had plenty to spare.

I went through my closet this weekend and placed my larger clothes in bags to be donated. I am determined to keep the weight off this time. Even if I am emotionally attached to something, out it goes.

I start a new job next week and I was looking forward to finally being able to dress like an adult, but the place is very casual. It's a lab, but I guess I will still be able to dress the way I normally do - thrift store student style.

I might as well confess as long as Molly did - I am planning on eating normal Thanksgiving foods for just that one meal. I've had good luck having a splurge meal once in awhile. It is good for me mentally. I know I can jump right back on protocol the next day and I usually show a good loss after splurging.

Have a great day everyone!

Molly I am on day 8 of vlcd since the interruption so I have lost 4.2 pounds in a week so it is average for a woman.

I like having the hamburger and cabbage I find it very filling. Lately I have been eating the P2 chili with either hambuger or chicken plus I have been eating the melba toast with it. I used to eat 2 apples a day one in the afternoon and one in the evening but I usually am too full to eat it the one in the evening.

I use the fusion drops which are alcohol free, which ones are you using?

Way to go on the loss you have a really good week.

I am worried that the alcohol free drops are not working as well and that is where some of my hunger is coming from. That bothers me because it means it may not be moving fat around, releasing it, and I am just losing because of the vlcd. That would suck, and really be an issue with stabilizing.

I bought Green Web because those are the first ones that popped up when I googled and had mostly 5 star ratings.

I'm down another 1.4 lbs...I was glad to see it after yesterday's no change. 162.4 & feeling great! I had lettuce 2x yesterday and I have heard of some having trouble with it so I was glad it didn't affect my loss

*** How many of you ever done an interruption? I'm on R1P2D21 and I am toying with the idea of P3 on Thanksgiving.

Stevie Renee~If I was going to do p3 for 1 meal on Thanksgiving would I still dose or not?

Maybe I'm overthinking this whole Thanksgiving Day eating thing???? It's driving me crazy!!!

I am using Green Web & I will order them again for my next round too! Very pleased with them.

Hello, I have been lurking for a few weeks but I wanted to say hello and join the conversation. I am a first time hHcg user, R1P2D19 and I've already lost close to 18 lbs. I love this diet! I have tried so many different things but this one makes you look and feel great in no time. This website is a great place for support. I am also planning on enjoying my Thanksgiving dinner, I've been so good with following the protocol that I can reward myself and take the slight gain.

to me! I turned 47 today.

So were were you 11/22/1963? I was at the hospital being born!

Yes, that is the day JFK was assassignated. (s?)

I wanted to weigh 147 for my 47th bd because I like numbers I guess.
Thanks to HCG I weigh 142 on my 147th bd! Yeah!

My DH brought me a bottle of merlot, a big bar of Godiva dark chocolate (have to put that away!) and a gift card at a spa.

Today is my kast day VLC so I will be uber careful because come tomorrow, I am making Cleo's cauliflower pizza! lol

Kathy,
thats a hard question to answer because you have those extra calories coming via the drops. I know the rogue thread they seem to do all right - Can you eat just low carb and not carby stuff?

Well off to walk and see Harry Potter.

Have a good one...check back soon.

Okay good morning everyone! Need to know if this is in my head so please enlighten!!
Today is day 2 inbetween p2 and p3...dr simeons says it takes 72 hours till you start p3....why do i feel like i'm already starving! This has to be in my head right?! My stomach growled all day yesterday and I drank a lot of water/coffee to stop the rumbles!
TOM is scheduled (per my pillpack) on wednesday...maybe thats the reason im extra hungry?! I didn't cheat at all during the 40 days of vlcd...yesterday i had a pork rind, 4 almonds, and a bite of my husbands horseradish cheddar slice...WTH?!!
I didn't gain but dang! It's gotta be because i'm that close to p3 right and cant wait?!
Anyone else go through this on those 3 days or am I crazy?!

Actually I have been wondering about how quickly we metabolise the homeopathic drops as opposed to the haf life if the Rx injections. Since we take homeo drops several times a day, and the previous day's dose has direct impact on the next day rather than 2 days or 3 days later I am starting to think that the drops clear out of our system way earlier than the Rx injections.
This is just me musing, and by no means set in stone, but I doubt very much that I will do 2 or 3 days of VLCD after I stop the drops. Maybe a day.

Stevie Renee~ You look great and congrats on 142!
Thanks for answering my question & if I do decide to eat a "regular" meal....it would be low carb. I think if I decide to do anything it will be to eat some green beans w/bacon....I don't want to mess up my progress.

I have been wanting to get my eyebrows done & I need to dye my hair.....hopefully looking good and feeling good will be all I need

Kathy worse comes to worse and it's just one meal and low carb...me myself and i would just plan on an apple day the following day if a gain came ya know?

This is just me musing, and by no means set in stone, but I doubt very much that I will do 2 or 3 days of VLCD after I stop the drops. Maybe a day.
I did 2 days of vlcd without the drops and wasn't hungry at all, I thought for sure that I would be but wasn't.

For the drops it is 48 hours vlcd and the injections is 72 hours.
