Don't be nervous - you'll be fine. Very important though to not eat sugar and starch. That's the kiss of death. There are lots of sugar-free and LC options though. After P2 eating, P3 is like HEAVEN!!!

but I am down a pound today.
Total of 12.8 pounds.

I've had a similar weight thing - I got into a new decade and here I sit for 4 days. I've been eating clean (except for cream in my am coffee) so I'm just going to wait it out, except for tomorrow, of course. Maybe that will jump start it. I'm planning on eating normal T'giving. Since my Mom was widowed and now retired she doesn't cook much - tomorrow she will, and I'm jumping on that!.

I'm still at over half lb a day average loss this round (17 days in) and I'll take it.

I'm a little nervous about starting my new job on Monday. I was shown around the company but missed the breakroom so I don't know exactly what is available. I'll probably just bring some celery and fruit that first day. What do others do for work lunch?

Have a great day everyone!
Remember INCHES!!!!! When I work in an office I would take fruit, grilled chicken, frozen asparagus (comes in a microwaveable bag) and my melba toast - it was easy peasy.

Phew! I am in my window still. Today is a high fat, low carb day. I am loving the coconut oil in my coffee.

Congrats to Lost for finishing those long hours of intership!

Just a quick drive by to say good morning and check in. We are smoking the turkey today since we have to bring it over to moms tomorrow so i best get busy.

Keep up the great work ladies.

Works for ME!! In fact, I was surprised when I went to the rest room here at work and realized I had put on a pair of Levi's (women's) that I would not have gone out in public in a few weeks ago.

By the time I got home, I was starving. so I think hhcg is out of my system.

I made Cleo's cauliflower pizza but went light on the cheese. I am ok with that

Right now I am making Linda sues stuffed bell peppers for the week to munch on. So darn good! I get my veggies and protein.

Mindful,
hope you had a wonderful BD!! We have 3 November babies in our family and always celebrate on Thanksgiving. I like it

Happy belated bday, Stevie Renee.

Can you please share the recipes you mentioned? I need some new foods.

Also happy belated bday to Stacey too!!

I'm happy to say I'm at a new HCG low, just by a little, but still, it is a new low I haven't seen in approx 2yrs, maybe more.

Today I weighed in at 211.5, so I am hopeful that even though I'm a slow loser and the holidays are here, that I can still get under 200 by NYE, even if it is just by a fraction of a pound.

Off to read the rest of the thread...

Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

I just want to say hi to the group. I have done HCG in the past. I used to post on the old 2008 HCG thread. My little short background is that I started the protocol back in November of 2008. My highest weight was around 225. I did a couple of rounds and I am now currently around 147-150. I have maintained for over a year at this weight.
I started a new round. I am on load day 2 with VLC starting tomorrow. I hope to reach the 130s by the end of December.

I look forward to talking with all of you!

Way to go on the new low! And thanks for the BD wishes

here are a few recipes I mentioned...

cauli pizza...yum.

Your Lighter Side...: I Can't Believe it's Cauliflower Pizza Crust!

Here is the stuffed peppers...so good...consider doubling your recipe. I don't use the Worcester sauce however.

First day of VLC and oops...I went over 500 based on ******. I guess I over did the vegatables. I need to mix up the protein too. Since this was my first day, I did the easy thing, I repeated the protein both lunch and dinner.
Today I consumed 7oz chicken breast, 4oz cucumber, 4oz steamed cabbage and one lemon plus 128oz water (before bedtime). No fruit or starch.

I am up .2 this morning but checked my measurements have lost another 6.25 inches.

Yesterday I was starving all day, I bumped up my drops to 9 drops 3X a day I was doing 8 drops 3X per day.

I ate both my apples yesterday and had one of my melba toast plus P2 chili for both my meals as I was rushed yesterday and didn't have time to make anything else.

The weather here is really cold it is -25 to -30 for the last few days so I think that is why I have been hungrier it takes more energy to stay warm. If it stays cold I think I will up my protein so that I am not starving.

and THAT was over 500? I wonder how Simeon did it to get 2 fruits and 2 grissini added to that and still make it under 500 cal? I can't imagine he dropped people to less than a half cup of veggies per meal!! A Half cup of peeled raw cucumbers is only 8 calories!

I must be going waaay over. I don't measure veggies but I am pretty sure I have about at least 1/2 cup of cabbage (that would be, for me, 1/10 of a head of cabbage so about 12 calories) after it has been cooked down, and I had a full can of spinach and my premesured (100g before cooking weight) chicken for lunch yesterday. and I always eat at least one fruit, some days two!

This is why I don't use ******, I am already too obsessed with what I can have, I refuse to eat less veggies!

I am down 1.4 today so a total of 14.2.

Now, chances are if I stay protocol today I will se the 160s tomorrw. But if I have dinner with my family I could stay the same or even see a gain.
Sigh
I still can not decide.

and THAT was over 500?

Congrats on the loss.

Ah ha, the key is to stay away from ******. Even if I was over for the calories, I am down 4lbs this morning..

Today I consumed 7oz chicken breast, 4oz cucumber, 4oz steamed cabbage and one lemon plus 128oz water (before bedtime). No fruit or starch.
****** tells me that is only 359 cals - assuming you ate the lemon too, not just the juice. Did you count the chicken breast as skin on? Sometimes ****** assumes you leave the skin on and cook it in fat. There is a boneless, skinless, chicken breast weight raw option and that chicken breast should only be 246 cals for the whole 7 oz. Cabbage=28 cals for 4 oz., cukes = 68 cals for 4 oz.

Me: Well, I've proven a point to myself. It isn't what you eat the day before that affects the scale - look at what you ate 2 days ago. I know people have posted this again and again, but it is so easy to eat something, see a gain the next day, and blame it on what you ate the day before. My experiment: I made some cream cheese bacon dip to take to my Mom's and I tested it yesterday. I tested it on 6 crackers worth for pete's sake! I was down today, but I bet it will show up on the scale tomorrow!

Today is a mini-load, and then I hit it again tomorrow. Have a great day!

And I was going to complain about the 1 degree (without the wind) today!!! Do whatever you need to do to remain healthy in that frigid air!!!!
