Okay, I ordered a new bottle of spray and will be starting P2 probably Monday. I'm planning a short round in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. My motivation is Daytona Beach on Christmas day!!!! My goal for this round is to reach the 160's.

You shouldn't have any problem getting to the 160's you are very close.

What is your goal weight?

I am 5'3" I would like to be about 125 but will decide when I get closer to that weight.

I am above my LDW from my last round right now I am around 180 and having lots of stress! My sister has an eleven month old and she is 7 months pregnant. She is in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in her lung) and it's very serious. My eating over the weekend was not good. Stress is a killer. As for my ultimate goal, I have no idea!!! I actually look really good at 180 and haven't seen the 160's since I was a teenager. I remember looking very thin at 160 though. I am 5'-7" and have a medium frame I guess. I will take it one day at a time!

Happy Tuesday

I was up so early and slept kinda yucky - I didn't weigh in. No worries. There will be days like that in my life.I am still full from yesterday food and part of that is I ate late. I am all ready working some menus out on ****** for P2!
I think I want to try fish this go around and shrimp. We shall see. I bought extra spicey Mrs Dash for flavor and I am making broth from scratch. I really want to get to goal this year.

Koo,
way to go for your DD! She is really a success story in my book. And thank you for the bd wishes
Are you doing any more rounds this year?

L&F,
I think Peggy is right - so just hang in there. You are doing the program...and I pray for a woosh for you very soon!

Curve,
- I love reading the posts like that. Congrats for sticking this through. Wonderful

is the spray reasonable priced?

The spray is a bit more expensive than the drops I think. It's $77.00 but it lasts me for 2 short rounds. I love it because I am never hungry and I only have to spray 2X per day. I spray right when I wake up and then when I get home from work. I don't have to worry about dosing during the day.

I take b12, a prenatal, potassium and magnesium.

seeing the scale in the morning definitely gets me out of bed as soon as I wake rather than lingering in my cozy comforter.

I do recommend taking Biotin now because I didn't in my first two rounds. After I lost about 40 pounds my hair was falling out. The Biotin stops it. I've read of people losing hair after weight loss.

Yes, that's normal for me on protocol, and I think Dawn is the same way. I'll fall asleep at least an hour earlier, and wake quite often at 5 am. It's very annoying, and stresses my daughter out, she doesn't feel secure falling asleep if I fall asleep. Problem on the weekends only with her.

For joint aches, I only had that the first round. Wondered if it was a Candida affect. I know the joint aches flared really bad and in my shoulder which is not a normal achy place for me...and I gained a pound overnight when I tried the epsom salt / baking soda detox bath. Never had a joint problem in subsequent rounds (thank goodness).

All I can say is that melatonin and benedryl are my friends on P2.

Good morning everyone! It is a cold day here in California and during this diet I have been freezing at some times (mostly my hands) so I welcome the warm days.
My LDW was 135.4 on Sunday. Today I weighed in at 134 which is weird because (TMI) I start my TOM tomorrow and I was really gassy and bloated yesterday lol  and don't know why. Onions probably!
Sounds like most of us are having a rough week (work sucks) and I'm ready for the weekend. I just have to keep saying this too shall pass
Bright side-P3 TOMORROW!!!

Gracie-praying for you and your sister and especially her little one since she probably has no clue where mommy is. I'm sorry to hear that.

I have a problem but the complete opposite. I can't sleep at all during the night and I take melatonin. It worked the first 2 weeks but now it's a mute point I want to go to bed at 9 but I'm up till 11 or 12 watching paint dry. I only notice muscle aches when i work out or walk alot or clean heavily.

I am jumping back into P2 for another round between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have done two 28 day rounds already, and have lost 33 lbs., but I am 4.9 lbs above my LDW, so I decided to get that GONE before Christmas. I had such a slow round the second time, I haven't really focused on a good p3 this time. I start dosing Thansgiving day, and loading Thursday and Friday! I am not looking forward to it, but I am looking forward to losing. I hope round three is better than round two!

Good Luck!! I start again on Christmas. I can't wait to be even 20 lbs lighter than I am right now. I step at a time!!

I lost inches oddly this round. I lost in my legs, knees, hips, bust, and a bit from my waist and upper abdomen. Oh well...who cares? Its coming off! I have lost a bit more in inches during P3 which is so bizarre. I will take it tho!!

Chouter ~ I experience that every P3 and LOVE it!!! I think it's the leftover fat redistributing. I lose mad inches in P3 to the point that my pants fall off

I wanna be on P3 and have MY pants fall off too!!!!

I am SO crabby when I am hungry! I never knew that about myself. Probably because I rarely let myself get truly hungry.

I might have eaten a little more at lunch than I should have. It is very hard to measure out 5 portions of hamburger and cabbage. Unless it really really affects my results I am not going to worry much about it. I am NOT cooking 5 separate batches!

Don't worry about it unless the scale is up tomorrow. I ate the P2 Chili for a lot of my meals - sometimes 2x per day. I LOVE the stuff I will let you in on a few things that helped me lose.

1) grapefruit for breakfast
2) not eating from dinner til lunch the next day
3) Hot tea (Vanilla Caramel is my favorite!!!)
4) If I was hungry I would add a little more protein
5) I never counted my veggies - just added in til I was satisfied
6) I pretty much always ate the fruit and melba toast
7) I tried not to STRESS about it and let the POUNDS and INCHES fall off!
8) I never exercised even once during P2
9) cinnamon seemed to help me lose???
10) I HATE APPLE DAYS and would never do one again! It made my tummy hurt I prefer the Modified Steak Day.

Also, it gets easier once your into your third week because you see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Once I knew I was past my 21 days I WANTED to keep going - it's kind of like a mind game!!!

Sorry for the book! LOL

that is great advice! Thank you!

I really like my grapefruit. but I am not a big tea drinker. LOTS of coffee, but not so much on the tea. The beef broth is probably going to be a staple once a day. For <10 cal it is worth it's weight! (1tsp of better than bullion beef is 10 cal, I usually use less than a tsp in a big mug of water)

I never count veggies either. The ones that we are allowed are so very low calories it would be hard to over eat on them.

DH has some cinnamon supps for diabetes I will try taking them!

NOT exercising is NOT a problem
chasing the baby is plenty of a work out for me right now!

Oh, how old is your baby? I have an 18 month old daughter Chasing her kicks my butt

I make a P2 soup that's really good. I take one can of low-sodium chicken broth (Swanson) and add in my chicken, cabbage, and spices. Bring it to a boil for about 20 minutes then throw my melba on top. Very tasty and filling. I didn't use the cinnamon supps - I would usually put cinnamon and stevia on my apples. I don't see why the supps wouldn't work the same though - worth a try!

Did everyone use only stevia as a sweetener while on P2? It was drilled into me that was the ONLY sweetener I could use so I had to give up splenda. I tried to love stevia, but I just don't. It's way too bitter for me. Because of that, I gave up coffee because let's face it ... a tablespoon of nonfat milk and stevia does not make a good cup of coffee.

SO ..... can we use different sweeteners on P3? I don't know why I'm so nervous about this. I'm going to a Post Thanksgiving party on Saturday which will be my official first day of P3 and I'm so nervous.

I will eat a good breakfast and a turkey burger for lunch before I go, but there will be so many temptations there. I may bring pork rinds and guacamole just so I have something to munch on besides celery and ranch. LOL

Oh yeah, I have to wear a bathing suit from Dec. 25th - Jan. 5th!!!

I would LOVE to lose 15 pounds by Christmas - I just need to behave myself over Thanksgiving and not gain like 10 pounds!!!

SO ..... can we use different sweeteners on P3? I don't know why I'm so nervous about this. I'm going to a Post Thanksgiving party on Saturday which will be my official first day of P3 and I'm so nervous.

I will eat a good breakfast and a turkey burger for lunch before I go, but there will be so many temptations there. I may bring pork rinds and guacamole just so I have something to munch on besides celery and ranch. LOL
I used splenda constantly in P3 - I like it better. I used different ones in P2 though - SweetnLow, Splenda, basically whatever I had. On my apples I would use Stevia OR Splenda with cinnamon. Splenda didn't cause me any problems

Why don't you make some sugar-free dishes to take with you? There's a pumpkin cheesecake bake and a sausage "dressing" that are both phenomenal!! Nobody will even know they are sugar-free or starch free. Also, mashed cauliflower with HWC, sour cream, cheese, salt -n-pepper is WONDERFUL. I made all of this last year and everyone was eating MY food!!!

That sounds really good! I have a little shaker thing with splenda and cinnamon in it.

She is my grandbaby (yes I had a baby at 10 then my DD had one at 11, So I am only 21 ) she is 14 months. sweet sweet sweet, and ornery as all get out! She will do something she shouldn't while smiling and saying No No....

I keep her most days because DD2 is in nursing school and works full time. She only spends the night on rare occasions (Like 2x ever) so I have my evenings to relax and recharge. Thank heavens!

My Erin does the same thing!!! She is obsessed with the freezer - it's on the bottom. I will find her walking around with frozen burgers, corn dogs, french fries!!! Drives me crazy She is always turning the television off while I'm watching something and she'll say "NO!" and then go ahead and do it She's also in love with Justin Beiber and his "Baby" song.

Here's her pic and yes she's a RED HEAD!!!!
