.6 loss in 5 days, nothing in the past 3 days

Sigh....so, I'm a bit frustrated. In the past 5 days, I've only lost .6lbs and I haven't lost anything in the last 3 days.

I'm feeling frustrated.

I was combining veggies - small portions of two allowed veggies but, still combining. So, I've stopped doing that.

I do eat some spices which I know have calories but, I don't eat the grissini and if I have fruit, it's only one piece a day.

I'm exercising but, very moderately. Walking for no more than 30 minutes at a very moderate pace.

I had one day where I didn't get enough water in but, I've more than made up for that on the other days.

A typical day for me would be chili for lunch made with super lean beef and tomatoes or cabbage, a bit of chicken stock, a bit of chopped onion and some cumin, just a touch of garlic salt and some chili powder.

Dinner is typically a burger made from 99% fat free ground turkey breast with mustard and a sliced cucumber.

I'm super frustrated!!! I only have 7 days left until my LDW and I really wanted to loose at lease 5 more lbs.

Here are my weigh ins:
Preload weight 164
Post load/VLCD1 weight 165
VLCD2 163.4
VLCD3 162
VLCD4 161.2
VLCD5 159.4 - 1.8
VLCD6 159.2 - .2
VLCD7 157.8 - 1.4
VLCD8 skipped weighing
VLCD9 156.4 -1.4
VLCD10 155 -1.4
VLCD 11 155
VLCD 12 154.4 -.6
VLCD13 154.4 -0
VLCD 14 154.4
Total so far: -10.6

Any thoughts would be so appreciated.

I will tell you what worked for me. Its weird, but our numbers look alike when I started. How tall are you?

I gave up chicken, apples and too much water - I drank a lot of water during the day but just enough for thirst after 5:00/6:00 because I felt water loaded. I also just ate a handful or two of veggies (When I ate veggies)

Consider giving up that turkey, red meat for a couple of days and of course mixing of the veggies.(which you said you did)

Are you taking magnesium capsules? If Bernice is not stopping by, this could be holding you back also.

I also walk every day and if you walk also, that is not the culprit.

I think I read that American red meat is more caloric or something like that and we need to cut that out of we stall.

Hope you can get it going to get those 5 off!

Another thing..I did a mini steak day - I cooked a 6 ounce filet and nibbled on it all day with only water. I would consider that also.

I was not hungry thanks to Hhcg.

Thanks for your thoughts! I do take magnesium every day. Bernice isn't due for another week and a half. I'm 5'7".

So, if I give up chicken, turkey and red meat, what would I eat? Only fish?

I know American red meat is more caloric but, the one I get has only 5% fat and the turkey is 99% fat free but, I'm certainly willing to give it up. I just don't know what I'd eat if I don't eat ground beef, turkey or chicken.

Sigh....this is frustrating.

I do know that inches mean more but, I'm not really losing inches this week either. ugg...

Stevie Renee, thanks for the info on too much water. I seem to be guilty of that also. I will now try to follow your advice and cut back on the H2o

Bernice is ummmmm..potty/BM! ! LMAO! Aunt Flo and Tom are due next week. hehahah
Lean steak, shrimp, white fish, egg/3 whites.
Let us know what ya try. PS: I am 5'6.5" - very close to you.

Piratewoman,
see how it goes. I know when I cut it off, I not only sleep better, the scale moves more. Because otherwise,I was sloshing a lot of liquids at night. If I weigh at night (sometimes I do) I can be up 5 to 7 pounds! That was telling me how much water I was sucking in late in the afternoon.

YMMV..your mileage may vary ladies

LOL, Bernice is code for bowel movement, so I hope you'll see her before a week and a half from now.

My opinion is you're experiencing the typical 2nd week blues/slower losses. Hang in there.

Stalls are normal, and aren't necessarily due to faulty dieting. Just a thought for you!

I've had a 5 day standstill or two in every round. It always whooshes away one day and begins moving again.

FYI, I used ground turkey my first round and didn't seem to have any problems with it. I do like turkey a lot more than chicken.

Also keep in mind your results are excellent! You have almost lost more in two weeks than I did in my last 21 day round. You are rocking this!

WFMama, I totally feel your frustration! If it makes you feel any better I've only lost 0.4 in the last 5 days...I only eat fish (tilapia) and chicken, do not mix veggies, take magnesium. I did do a 5 day course of antibiotics (amoxicillin) for a tooth infection and reintroduced cabbage -which I suspect could be a part of my stall...I really have no idea...I'm going to finally go rogue and try cauliflower, see if that works and add some beef 3 days a week. If I don't have significant loses this week I'm going to look into adding a handful of cashews or 6 macadamias next week...
Could you maybe change your end date? I've read that you should aim your last round to be at least 30 days as it may help you stabilize better in P3...

Turkey is not on Simeon's food list. I eat/ate on P2 chicken, fish and shrimp as well as lamb and sometime beef. I switched out my proteins for every meal--at least I tried to!! There are other things on the list to eat!!

If you have truly stalled for 5 days why not do an apple day? They worked for me!!! I really did enjoy them too.

I NOW believe that one of my problems was drinking water later in the evening. It appears that egg drop soup could be a problem as well. Recently I started using the low sodium broth in my soups, I love soup. I also had to cut out the late night apple. These are some of the things I've learned about myself.

Ok, no change again today. I'm so frustrated!!!!

I ate chicken and lettuce for lunch, shrimp and cabbage for dinner.

I didn't eat the apples or grissini. And, I drank a moderate amount of water.

Is it time for an apple day?

No need to torture yourself any longer. I think you should do an apple day. That is what I would do!!

I'm doing it. Just at my first apple. So basically, I eat like 5 apples today and one tomorrow? And then do I go back to my regular meals for lunch and dinner?

That is right!! Just don't forget, an apple day means NO water!!! I think on my apple days I got at most 16 oz. Just enough to wet the back of the throat. Good luck!!!

WFMama, the stall broke today - yaaayyy! I wish I could tell ya what broke it, but am still clueless. Only difference is I had a 1/2 cup mashed cauliflower last night (too soon to tell effects), a Bernice (but the ones before didn't help??), and I think the antibiotics may finally be out of my system -who knows lol...But, yes, I think you should do an apple day -at this point it can't hurt. Good Luck!!
