I can honestly say i don't miss the ritz. It makes a pretty big batch, I set it for 12 on fat secret but really it's a dip so who knows really. How many children do you have? And did you lose all your weight on HCG? Your face looks tiny and thin
I love that name River. He looks like a healthy little guy to me

Hopefully your 5 year old is just going through a phase! You need lots of pix!! lol

I have 2...I have a 5 year old-Garrett and a 21 month-River. Thanks we love that name too lol! My sisters' son's name is Phoenix so we toyed around with River and low/behold lol!
I still have about 10lbs to go but even that's thin for me. I'm only 5'1 but I carry a muscular build (gymnastics) so the weight is distributed right if you know what I mean...Per the stupid air force bmi calc at 125 lbs and 5'1 i'm borderline overweight...go figure.
Thanks! My mom said the same thing about my face, i really do think it's just the camera, I'll put another on and show you it is lol....I wish she had the drive/discipline to do this diet, all her med problems Im sad to say are probably weight induced.

I'm with you, Heather. The thing is, it might be a good idea to play around and figure this out because you'll only be back here again after your next round of P2. At least if you deal with it know, you'll know what works for you and what doesn't for your next round.

I'm trying to convince myself of the same. LOL

HOT DEAL! $10 for $25 @Nuttyguys

This was just passed on to me by a friend... Groupon has a deal. Even though it says can only buy 1, I bought 2, as no way to track. So I've basically paid $20 to buy $50 worth of my baking supplies for the next 6 months. Since I'm single I'll be freezing most of it lol.

$10 for $25 Worth of Nuts, Dried Fruit etc @ Nutty Guys Today only -exp 11:59pm est <- my refer link or PM me
Must use cert December 4 - Jun 5, 2011. Must use $25 in 1 order - excludes shipping & taxes.
Even though it says Raleigh, anyone is free to join. Go to righthand side, under Jewelry Deal, click 2nd box says "Online Deal", signup and enjoy!

I'm so stoked to do my grocery list! Which will hopefully keep me occupied during the extra 7 days of P2 I have to do

.

No actually they aren't. Anyone from any area is able to purchase. I'm in NYC - deal is Raleigh, but they published it for everyone, like the Gap deal.

Click the underlined link I posted, and do directions... For future, you can also add/subscribe to other cities in addition to yours under the acct tab. My fam lives in Toronto, so I subscribe there too for gifts etc.

PS - pm'd you a link to their list that gives all of their daily 'National/ Online Buys' like this, Nutty Guys, one.

Hmmmm, that link will only take me to my Phoenix page. I never get the online deals.

I was able to search Raleigh/Durham and find it that way but, I don't have any idea how to get the online deals???

But, in searching it, I did find it and bought 3 - thank you!!!

It's so weird! When I click the link it goes right there and it did earlier when I ordered. I wonder if it's something in the acct settings? ...Anyway, I'm glad you got it! I'll keep a look out to see if the deal comes up again for anyone who missed it.

I wonder if this coupon will be okay to use on all of their products? I was looking on the Nutty Guys site, and under the large gift basket, it says that is the only thing you can use your Groupon for. Bummer. I want other stuff, not a gift basket.

I bought the coupon and it doesn't say anything about only being used for baskets. It talks about their wide variety of nuts and fruits etc.... I can't see anywhere where there is a limitation on what you can buy.

Yeah, it isn't on the coupon, it's on the Nutty Guy site. Look under the large gift basket. You really have to hunt for it.

No, you definitely can use it for other things... There are no restrictions

As per the actual groupon site:
"for $10, you get $25 worth of nuts, dried fruit, and more from Nutty Guys.
Nutty Guys sports a massive selection of nuts, dried fruit, candied delights, organic goodies, and more. Legume fundamentalists will raise fists in solidarity at the chance to buy both raw peanuts and raw Spanish peanuts (each starting at $3.33/8 oz.), while nut progressives can try punishingly powerful wasabi peanuts ($3.01/8 oz.). Fuel snack times with mango cubes ($3.75) and apple-juice-sweetened blueberries ($6.38/8 oz.), or sweeten a stash with chocolate-covered pretzels ($5.98/1 lb.), butter toffee almonds ($7.48/1 lb.), or cinnamon gummy bears ($3.28/8 oz.)."

And per Nutty site:
And finally, it could be this Groupon offer, $10 for $25 worth of our products is just plain nutty! Use this terrific Groupon offer to see why NuttyGuys.com is #1.

I don't see any restrictions (except that it can't be used until Dec 4th). Groupon will usually always clearly spell out any restrictions prior to purchase on the offer page. Could you imagine 300 people buying it only to discover it could only be used for baskets? EEEK!!

Edit: I looked at the Large crates and baskets and didnt see anything...Maybe it says you can't use it on the large basket?... I'm sure it's fine.

It is actually called the "Groupon Gift Crate". Maybe I am reading it wrong, and it is saying you can buy anything, but this is the ONLY GIFT CRATE you can buy with the Groupon. Here is what it says under the Gift Crate:

We at Nutty Guys are pleased to offer Groupon Customers a really neat gift solution at an extremely nutty price.

The Groupon Coded provided to you after you purchase the "Groupon" will apply to this gift crate only. This crate can be customized to meet your taste buds or appeal to the friends or family that you will be sending it to.

Included in the crate:Ten 3-oz products chosen by you from 27 of our top sellers*, One re-usable wood crate made from solid wood, and Two $10 vouchers to be used on future purchases.

To order this crate, simply adjust any of the ten items included in the crate. Once you have selected your items, simply add it to your cart. Then, checkout as usual. On the final page where you enter your payment information, there is a box to the right that says "Coupon Codes, Groupon Codes". Enter your "Groupon" code and be sure to press apply. You should then see the amount adjust to reflect your new price. Then simply submit the order. *Five products carry a small surcharge due to pricing differentials.

Gosh! I still can't find it - but yes, I think it's probably a special crate for those wanting to buy their regular crate (not baskets). Good catch, but I don't think it affects the rest of the items/purchases... I'll be placing my order over the wkend and let ya know...

Now, what I really want to now is what are you guys ordering? I know blanched Almond flour is a good deal but how much to buy?

.

I think that's just an additional special given to those who purchased groupons. You get a special deal on that crate and two additional $25 for $10 groupons.

Hey Dawn .. I've got a cooking question for you! I eventually want to try out those chocolate coconut protein bars, but don't have powdered erythritol. Can I sub another sweetener 1:1? Also, does the 1/3 c. of coconut oil need to be melted? Or is it 1/3 c. solid?

Thanks again.
