I know right!!! I have 2 daughters (7 & 18 months) and I'll be darned if I will ever let them have a cell phone Kids are allowed to do a lot more today than I ever was! We are pretty strict parents but there are a lot of parents today that just don't care what their kids are doing. It's amazing sometimes!!!

I sure can't wait to be in P3 the last few days have been really hard, my hunger has really increased!!! I wonder if any immunity has set in or if the drops have started to expire ... either way I'll be okay for one more day .. and tonight!!!

BTW.. my first challenge of P3 will be a girls get away for 3 days next week ..eek!!! Surely I can do no carb, right?!?!?! I hate to throw wine into the mix so early in P3 .. anyother suggestions??? Wine loves to bring her friend water ... that never wants to leave!!!!

Hope you are all doing well!!!!
I've drank Michelob Ultra in all of my P3's with no problems. Just make sure you don't EAT any sugar or starch and you will be fine. The wine has sugar though so I'm not sure? Maybe someone else will chime in.

Nausea is a symptom of dehydration - are you drinking enough water? Also, are you taking potassium?

Attached to where I am doing my Internship, there is a clothing closet (A second hand store). Yesterday, during my break, I went in there and got 6 or 7 pairs of jeans, in an assortment of sizes...all of the way down to size 10. Most things there are weighed, and they charge 50 cents/pound. I, only, spent $5 and some change. I was excited about this, and can't wait to wash them up, and see what the lowest size is, that I have to squeeze, uncomfortably, in to. Then, I will have "goal" pants. Anyways...I thought that this was a good idea. Once I am down, under size 10, I figure that I will deserve to purchase "new" jeans.

Look at you go!!! You are following protocol to a "T" and rocking it!!!! That's a great idea to buy all those sizes - I wish I had a store like that here.

I do activate the drops. And I've experimented with going lower on dosage and higher, to see if either made a difference. I did a skip day because I'd read that if you feel better skipping the drops, your dose was too high, and if you feel more hungry, your dose was too low. I felt marginally better on the skip day, so the next day I went with a low dose all day and that didn't help at all. I then went back up to the recommended dose (10 drops 3x day) and no help. This morning I tried just 5 drops and no difference. This is the history:

load days: 10 drops 3x day per my bottle's instructions
VLCD1: 10/10/10
VLCD2: 10/10/15 (increased to see if hunger would improve)
VLCD3: 15/15/15
VLCD4: 15/15/20 (increased again)(just as hungry)
VLCD5: skipped all doses
VLCD6: 4/2/2
VLCD7: 2/10/10
VLCD8: 5 so far (1st dose)

I've kept the drops away from electronics. There were a couple of times they came close to my handbag though, where I keep my phone, but that was after a few days of being VLC. If I'd not been as hungry to begin with then noticed an increase in hunger after they'd been near my handbag, then I could see that maybe I'd messed them up. And who knows what they came into contact with while they were being shipped to me? Or even at the store I bought them from?

So frustrating. I've looked into doing injections next time to avoid this but we just don't have the money now for me to afford it.
What part of Pittsburgh? My middle name is Grace after my Grandma. My daughter's name is Grace Marie. My first name is actually Amy But, IRL a lot of people call me Gracie.

On your dosing - I believe you are supposed to dose the same for a few days and see how it affects you. You are changing your dose every single day and not giving your body the time it needs to process the change. I would do 12 drops 3X/Day for 3 days and see how the hunger feels - Just my opinion though! Best of Luck.

I am drinking a lot of water. I don't normally take potassium because it is one supplement that makes me nauseous, oddly enough. That and zinc . Can't do them.

I am glad to say that my nausea is gone this morning.

P2VLCD4 and I'm down 5 lbs so far. I feel weird being in this thread since I am not following protocol exactly. I do for the most part, but I have cream in my coffee (not everyday, but I found a little fat helps me with Bernice) and I've been tweaking my round length when I stall. I was stuck at the same point for so long and it took a weekend of eating loading foods (mini-load?) to jump start it. Maybe I should post in the non-Simeon's thread since I tweak my plan.

I had a glass or 2 or red wine nearly everyday of P3 and stabilized perfectly. Enjoy yourself!

We have one shot to make their childhoods great. There are no do-overs. I don't get why some people want kids to grow up so fast. It's not ok, even if that's how all the other kids act. Children are supposed to be innocent and childlike. I'm letting mine be children for as long as possible.

Today's update--2 lbs below LDW!!! I am now sitting at 115.8. It was nice to see my original goal at least once when done with this round. Oh, I know once I start eating again I won't stay here, but nice to see nonetheless!!!! I hardly ate anything yesterday because I was so busy and unprepared. I bought cottage cheese at work last night just to get in some protein. Had to force down the cup I ate!! Anyhow, I will try to catch up with what I missed. Seems you guys were busy yesterday!!

So glad you are feeling better today! There are many of us here who tweak the plan to fit our needs - we just don't give ourselves a title! I used cream in my coffee every single day of P2 - I figure cream is 1/2 milk & 1/2 cream and it has never caused me any problems. I also made the cocoa crack all the time to help my sweet tooth. I think here we try our best to follow the protocol but we don't chastise anyone who doesn't. I know it's hard to follow the protocol 100%. I've mixed my veggies, eaten broccolli, skipped fruits, etc. BUT I try to follow protocol because I know that's when I lose the most weight. We're only human and we are all trying our best!!!

My only advice is on the potassium. We are drinking so much water and not eating much so we are losing lots of potassium in our urine. I take at least 4 per day if not more. 4 is the equivalent of one banana - or you could buy the Morton's Lite Salt that has potassium added. I used the Morton's Lite Salt all the time when I followed Atkins because I would get leg cramps.

Feel free to post here whenever you like - all are welcome!!!!

Alright, that's a little better. Finally into "sorta" virgin weight. It won't REALLY be virgin weight until I go below the siggy weight (which I refuse to change). Darn deactivated drops...

TOM should be on his way out so it's catch up time. I was a little hungrier yesterday, so I added a little fat. It kept me out of the kid's chocolate popcorn.

Yesterday's menu:
Breakfast: coffee with stevia
Lunch: P2 chili, grissini
Snack: apple, string cheese(not on protocol)
Dinner: Chick and cabbage soup
Dessert: strawberries with stevia

I second the Morton's. Can't stand the pills either, so will measure out a dose of the morton's and use it throughout the day. I'll toss a bit in my water, some on my food, and cover lemon slices with them at night. Just make sure it's the pure potassium morton's, and not the 1/2 sodium and 1/2 potassium mix.

We lived in Mount Lebanon until I was five and then moved abroad for a few years, eventually coming back to eastern Pennsylvania. I'm in the Midwest now.

Thanks for the info on the dosing. I was under the impression with homeopathics that a single change would show a result fairly quickly. I'll pick a number and stay with it for a little while. I really hope the new drops arrive today!

Down .6 from yesterday for a total of 6.6 after 8 VLC days.

It's easier to use Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, Food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate

It has lots of foods already loaded into it.

Thanks for the info on the dosing. I was under the impression with homeopathics that a single change would show a result fairly quickly. I'll pick a number and stay with it for a little while. I really hope the new drops arrive today!

Down .6 from yesterday for a total of 6.6 after 8 VLC days.
Mt. Lebanon is not far from me at all!!! I live in the South Hills area near Baldwin. Small world!!!

You are doing great - 0.825#/day is nothing to sneeze at!~

Maybe your drops are out of date or flawed some way. I keep my drops next to two cordless phones and two cell phones and I probably have touched the tip to something, my tongue maybe and they seem to still work. I also shake them, not just tap them and they seem to still work for me.

One thing I tried when I was experiencing hunger was to use six drops six times per day. I've read where some drops say to use them this way. Now I am back to 7 drops 3x/day. If I get hungry, I will add a dose or up the dosage.

Wow! That's a good deal on weighing the clothing. Have fun seeing what you fit into.

I'm down from a women's 20 to a woman's 18. I know I don't fit into any regular sized clothing, if a regular 18 even exists. It's been so long I can't remember. I think it exists. LOL

well, seems like it was my bum drops that were causing my problems! Switched yesterday to the new bottle, and was full and this morning I was down .8~ much more like what I'm used to seeing. I keep my bottles away from anything in the bathroom. I wonder if I touched the dropper to my tongue? I probably did in my laziness! Feeling much better and fuller with the new drops. Hope everyone has a wonderful Veteran's Day! Thanks to all the soldiers and families that support and fight for our freedom!

Hey! Everyone seems to be doing so well! M is still staying in the upper window of her LDW. I try to remind her to weigh in most mornings so we can make sure she stays in that window. She is happy with her weight where it is for the time being, hopefully she stays stable through the holidays and then she can jump in with another round in January.

Yeah for M!!!!! She deserves a nice break for the holidays and then she will be ready for another P2 come January. My only advice is to not let the weight creep back up - as soon as she goes over 2 lbs. correct it. I have been 5-8 pounds above LDW before and had to work it back off - UGH.

I really hope that's the problem. The expiration date on them is 2015. I have new drops on the way and hopefully they'll be here by tomorrow.

I bought cottage cheese at work last night just to get in some protein. Had to force down the cup I ate!! Anyhow, I will try to catch up with what I missed. Seems you guys were busy yesterday!!
Great job!!! I totally understand how just seeing a number on the scale is happiness!

Dawn suggested I post over here (thanks, Dawn!) I was just wondering if anyone has flown and taken their HHCG drops with them. If so, do you check them in your suit case or carry them on? I read and Dawn said that they can be compromised if they go through the airport x-ray machine. I'm leaving on November 29th and trying to decide what to do. I have not started the drops or protocol yet - still researching but pretty sure I want to give it a shot since all of you seem to have such wonderful results. I'm also concerned about being able to stay on protocol while in Florida for a week but I'd love to start the weight loss now, before I leave so just don't know what to do!! Has anyone started it and done it for 20 days and then stopped and just did low carb for a week? Or if I do something like that, will I totally mess it up??

I took my drops on the plane with me last August. The directions on mine said to keep them refrigerated, so I put them in one of my kid's insulated lunch boxes with a cold pack, along with apples, chicken and asparagus. Mine went through the airport x-ray machine, and they were fine. Maybe because I had them in an insulated pouch, wrapped in bubble wrap. You should be able to tell security that you have homeopathic medicine that should bypass the x-ray machine. Good luck!

Week three is done; 6 more pounds gone. I did nothing different this week, than I did last week. JUST stuck to protocol. I'll have to see if week 4 is like week 2....see if it's an every other week thing? Anyone do 4, or more, weeks? What was your experience? Did you have a slower 2cnd week, or 3rd week only, or did you experience an every other slower week?

Meals:

Atleast 2 liters of water

Lunch:
Grilled (non injected) chicken breast; 100gr
Cucumber, or tomato
Apple
Grissini

Dinner:
Tilapia
Cucumber, or aparagus
Strawberries
Grissini

No sweetners, no tweeking anything...just plain old Protocol

Pre-load: 221
Post-Load: 223.4
R1P2 VLCD #22: 204.4
