Stay strong, L&F!
![]() I loooove cooking when I'm on P2. I don't know why. The smells and visuals are so rewarding. Usually I'm meh about cooking for my SO, but he loves it when I'm on P2. Unfortunately he's on a cereal and milk kick right now and doesn't want me to cook for him as much. ![]() |

Well, P3 is different than P2, and if you cheat...and you go out of your window...there's the "Steak Day." (Which to me sounds pretty good right now.) ![]() I don't think that 1 slice of bread would throw you out of your window, but it's just the thing about not following protocol. Did you eat bread in P4? What did you add back in during P4. Some people said that they were eating EVERYTHING, and maintaining within their window!?! |

It may be that your at 23 days...that's when my resolve starts slipping and I crave fattier foods. That's why I am only doing 23 day rounds now. I did one round of 28 days, lost NOTHING the last week, and craved every minute of that last week. Nope, not doing that again. I can commit to 23 days and that's it.

Thanks, Ladidah!!!! He finished his two Patty Melts. So, the temptation is gone. My temptations are the greatest while I am cooking, as it is easy to "taste" things while cooking, and no one will ever know. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I plan on going 40 days, but if week four is a repeat of week two, I will, probably, call it....unless, I can become stubborn, and JUST GET THROUGH IT...to see what week 5 brings. When I asked if anyone, who experienced a slow week two, had any other slow weeks in a long P2...no one answered. For me, weight loss-wise, week 1 was great, week two was crappy, then...week 3 was great....and now, I'm into week 4...we'll see how it goes. If it's an every other week thing with the crappy stats, and the cravings are there (they weren't in week 2)...then, it will take one crabby, mean, old, b*tch to get through it....but, I've been called one of those before...sooooo....![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Lost and Found; 11-14-2010 at 02:00 PM.. |

I measured out frozen shrimp. 90g is a good size portion to me. I wonder if there will be more when they are thawed and the water drained off of them?
I know overweight people swear that they don't eat much, but looking at a sample day it realy is more actual food than I usually eat, just a lot healthier. I am hoping the hhCG drops keep me from craving stuff. |

And...is there not any starch in it? Since around here...it costs about $5/small loaf...it would be nice to have your input...if you've had it before. |

It is precooked and individually frozen so I was figuring that I would need to measure smaller portions since I don't know precooked weight. Maybe just measuring it at 100g into a little zippy and then seeing what it weighs thawed would be a better idea.

However, in the long run, for me, I do like to have a cheat (carby) meal every other week or so. For now I'm trying to save that stuff just for loading days, and trying to just load fat and not carbs since it works so much better for me. But lowcarb is my lifestyle for the long run...no IBS, no low blood sugar moments, etc, so it's definitely worth it to me. My first round I did about 4 weeks P3...and it was really incredible how stable my weight was that last week, even with calories being really variable from day to day. Look at these #s from my last week: 176.4 calories 2200 176.6 - 2060 176.4 - 2500 176.4 - 1700 176.2 - 1600 175.6 - 1590 175 - 2040 174.6 - 2000 Anyways, it was certainly fun! Even without adding carby foods in! That was so many more calories than I could eat on Atkins. On Atkins, if I ate over 1500 calories, I gained weight.

Yeah...I know that it SHOULD be different, and cooked meat would be less. Maybe go on ******, and see how many calories 100 grams of raw shrimp would be, and then put in the cooked shrimp, and keep adjusting the amount of shrimp until you get the same calories? I'm sorry that I can't help you out with this, as I never ate shrimp on P2 yet...I read about some people experiencing slower losses while eating it....and I know that everyone is different, but I didn't want to try it. I tried lean beef once...and even though it is Protocol, saw poor results for two days after. So, I have...except for one 100 grams pre-cooked weight peice of lean beef...ate chicken, and fish, every day for the entire time.

![]() ![]() ![]() I hope, that once you have hit goal, you go and have your bloodwork re-done. In researching this, on other web-sites, I saw it over, and over again, how people no longer had to take their medications for everything from high blood pressure to diabetes. They were even eating things in P4 that they never could before...due to tummy issues. ![]() ![]() I hope that this is the case for you. It's, actually, scary how being over-weight can alter so many things in a human body in a negative fashion. ![]() How did you get that many calories in? I mean, what did you eat? |

![]() And for a lot of ladies here...those are paltry calories for them. But with my metabolism, I was thrilled. I mean I gained weight up to 232 pounds eating less than that! |

I was wondering...how is your Round 2 going? I've read that no two rounds are ever the same. Has yours mirrored Round 1? I have read of many Round 2's from h*ll, but...then...a good round three, and I am worried about it. |
