Thanks Deb! I'm excited

Thin-not sure if we can recommend brands or websites on here. I've used the Natural Health Labs brand, and can find them pretty inexpensively online. Search for it . I drink coffee w/ cream every morning (and sometimes as a snack) and haven't had any problems. That was my first step into "rogue" territory too! I wait a half hour before or after to dose, to be safe. Can't remember where I read that, and I imagine the spray would be the same.

Have a great day!

Thanks. I blame it on the popcorn! We went to the movies and it smelled SOOOO GOOD!! I didn't buy any but was ravenous by the time we got home. So I attacked the chicken. Not off plan, but too late to eat for a decent weight check.

I am proud of me, I usually get the large popcorn, extra butter. Shoot, I can take a tub of butter with 1 or 2 pieces of corn in it for texture. lol.

Well apparently the cafeteria made the decision for me....I am not doing low cals. I am doing low (very low) carbs this week to see what the scale does for me then. I ate alot during the weekend and very bad stuff but my weight remained the same (for now - i know it may show up tomorrow still *nervous laughter*)

So far today?
Coffee (pati sized mug for those of you who know what those are! ) w/cream and liquid splenda.
1 grilled bonesless skinless chicken breast
Chicken broth with scallions and CHOLULA BABY!!
Water. Lots and lots of water so far.

Hey everyone... Started the drops/lowcarb on Friday. Did ok foodwise tip Sunday, had some cookies - but was satisfied with 2 instead of eating the whole bag. That is a huge success for me!

No idea on pounds, but I'm wearing jeans that haven't fit since last spring!!!! Not sure how, but it's working!

Deb you are right about desert is your creamer in the coffee. Have you seen the flavors available for the holidays? I use only SF french vanilla but hubby bought some eggnog flavored creamer yesterday.....I've had my eye on it but looked at the calories and afraid to try it. He says it is DELISH!!!!

I hope I am doing this correctly, as this is my first time posting. I have been a "lurker" for several months and have enjoyed watching everyone's progress on the message boards (both rougue & T total protocol).

I started in Feb of this year at 174 and have lost 40 lbs. My 1st round was my best round, for-sure. I did not take measurements or before/after pictures . I stabilized really well after my first round. However, I had A LOT of trouble with my 2nd round. My first attempt at round 2 did not go well- I quit 10 days into it. I was starving and my head just wasn't in it. When I did do my 2nd round, I lost weight really well. I was pretty rogue- choc delight, coconut oil, nuts, and did not have any trouble losing. Wish that's where the story ended, but... I went completely crazy (carbs, carbs, and more carbs) when I was suppose to go into phase 3 and gained back most of what I lost during phase 2.

Now.... I am on my 3rd round and doing pretty good. I am VLCD13.
Start wt post load: 146#
Today's wt: 134.2#
I plan to take a P3 break Thanksgiving week, then restart and go until 118-120ish# or Christmas (whichever comes first).

Some ways I am going rogue this time:
I do not measure. I prob have an average of 4oz of protein at each meal.
I eat a little ranch dressing.
I eat cottage cheese.
I eat a few OP veggies (brocoli, green beans) and I mix veggies.
I eat salsa.
I drink crystal lite.
I have an occasional diet coke- it has never stalled me.

Things that I have found important FOR ME:
Tons of fluids.
I feel less hunger with lower-dosing. (I take 10 drops 2x/day)
I can't have choc delight of mac nuts because I cannot control the portions I eat.
If I "cheat", it needs to be low-carb and I will lose the weight really quick if I have a gain. Example, if I go out to eat, I try to have fish, shrimp or steak and grilled veg and NOT throw in towel and order the pasta I love. For me, that gain does not come off easily. I do usually eat the entire portion (which is prob way to much)
If I really screw up, just get right back on the wagon.

So.... that's my story. (Sorry it's so long). I thought I would introduce myself and try to post. I think it will make me more accountable and hopefully help my progress. I also wanted to start on this thread because everyone is sooo supportive and not judgemental. For me, encouragement, getting other's opinions/feedback on ideas and trouble shooting is what I need. Generally if I really screw up, I already know it and am busy beating my ownself up.

I didn't take before of after pics, but I put a photoalbum of just some snapshots on here. (Not sure how to link to my photoalbum). My 'before' is of me at my almost-heaviest- @ 180ish. (I started hhcg at 174-175ish). My 'after' is of me @140ish. I have gone from size 16 to loose size 8. (I do not wear my clothes tight)

Nitenurse,
My bottle said 15 drops 3x/day. I tried that for a while (or thought I did...more on that in a minute). I was constantly hungry. So increased to 4x/day which helped a bit, but I think it FOR ME was more because I couldn't eat or drink for 15 min. before and after so it slowed my rate of consumption down! LOL
Anyway. As for the 15 drops I THOUGHT I was using...I was EYEBALLING the dropper, not measuring. Turns out I was probably using at least twice that much each time!
I have now measured and marked a dropper at the 10 drop line and 15 drop line.
I have been doing 10 drops 3x/day. After more than 5 weeks, while I still am hungry, it is better and more controllable.
I have not yet got to the "1 piece of lettuce and I am full" stage that I wish I could get to.
It took 3 weeks before I noticed a difference (I don't weigh myself, no scale, just going by how my clothes fit and how I feel). Week 4 I feel less tired. Week 5 I am increasing my low carb foods, still using the drops, waiting to see how it goes.
I can't do VLC. I do eat a large volume of veggies (mixed always) usually mixed with meat. I don't weigh anything. I was watching fat until last week when I decided that I had to have some LC treats. So my goal now is to minimize the damage, try to eat smaller amounts of these foods than I normally would, and at least maintain what I have lost so far, until I am re-motivated to do it all over! (gonna keep using the drops though)
This is just MY story.
Hope that you have success however you do it!

To everyone else I say "hooray for all your losses!!"

Jen , I love your story....you have done a great job! KUTGW!

Welcome people even newer than me

This group is amazing. People coming and going constantly.

I am trying to be LOW CARB on the drops today.... Need to get hunger totally under control after yesterday.

I had 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and green chili for breakfast
Wasn't that hungry at lunch so had a few spicy pork rinds a jalapeno slim jim with cheese and a 1.5 oz bag of smoked almonds. I have some lemon tuna if I can't make it through the day. Hopefully tonight will be something light and easy.

I would like to try to sneak in 3-4 real P2 type food days (minus the fruit and grisini and increase the protein or make it fat). Sometimes it is so hard. It is easier when the numbers are going down on the scale though.

These two aren't twice/day drops, but I like them: Intermountain and Natural Health Labs. I've had success with both. With both, I dose(d) 12 drops, 3X/day.

Jeni!

I'm feeling good today....back to my LDW from R1, so hopefully, I'll get to see some virgin territory in the coming days....and even more hopefully, Onederland! Have a great day, ladies!

WOE: Low carb

My name is Dawn.

I have been lurking for a while and finally ordered my drops last night. I have been doing LC for a while and while I lost some weight I have pretty much been bouncing between 156-158 since August, I believe. I am hoping that the addition of the drops will help me lose the last of what I have to lose.

I began eating low carb the Monday after Thanksgiving last year and have not gone back to the way I ate before. This is just the way I eat. I cannot believe that it has been almost one year since I had a potato chip and quite honestly I really don't miss them. I have found many low carb recipes that satisfy that crunch need when I have it.

For now I do not think that I will do a loading day as I really don't deal with cravings of any kind and when I do I usually find something that I can eat in the house that is carb friendly. I am nervous, like others, about doing this and welcome any advice.

I know without a doubt that I cannot eat 500 calories a day. I would want to chew my arm off and I think that my blood sugar dropping would not be happy with me. Low carb eating has been the only thing in my life that has helped me with not going too low with my blood sugar and has saved my family from me wanting to bite their heads off when I become hungry.

I have been exercising, mostly strength training and do not plan on giving that up. I hope that this works for me.

I look forward to some good laughs on a daily basis because you girls really are great at that

I hear you on the hunger control!! how is it going so far today? I feel pretty good hunger wise, hope it keeps up when I get home!.. oh yeah, I have to exercise.. thanks to MEEK... but I'll be fine.

I also try to sneak in a couple days a week of P2. As close as I CAN anyway, so good luck with that!!! Numbers going down is THE ULTIMATE motivator... oh and baggy jeans....

I spent 5 hours in the car yesterday trying to catch up with all of you in your other thread. Holy Moly do you girls like to chat. I read about 14 pages in the car and that was a miracle because trying to read it on my phone was so hard. My husband eventually started asking me what the heck I was reading. I still need to go back and finish the last 10 pages or so of the last thread.

Getting ready to head home for the night.
May the scale be kinder and gentler tomorrow. Still don't know what I will have for dinner. Low carb is so much easier for me than low cal, but I do know I have to get the low cal days in or this will probably not go anywhere for me. I will find what works. I will just keep reading about what works for ya'll and immitate until I find what works for me. Guess I have time to get this weight off - as they say, I didn't gain it over night.
