You ladies are all doing GREAT...I can't wait until I get to start.....loading that is! Just kidding I am trying to be on my best behavior so I don't have even more weight to lose. If all goes as planned I should start loading on Sunday

I just can't to decide if I want to eat bread/potatoes or just stay LC while loading?

I still get the hunger feeling? I am thinking about dropping the fruit and just letting myself go full blow into ketosis so I dont have to feel the hunger.
I know its just my body working on losing the weight so I deal w/it.
I will still get some hunger feeling but I drink more water or tea and it goes away. I also changed my drop schedule, I do them at 7am, 2-3 pm and 7-8pm it seemed to help with the really hungry feeling I was getting before.

I made sure I ate alot of fat when I loaded so I had strawberries with whipped cream, pumkin pie with whipped cream, cheese but I also had a huge cheese pizza it was really good.

I loaded this round high carb. It took me four days to get it off, and I have had to fight for every ounce lost. I won't make that mistake again.

kathy Just coming off of induction and into this plan I was afraid to load not knowing if this even works....May I suggest-Load and load.
Get it all out of the way. Happy loading!

jabbok You know what that sounds like a good idea to do the drops at 7-1-7...That just might help a lot ty
I have been doing them at six-twelve-four. Go to bed starving.....

I am still full from supper so the only thing I have before bed is a cup of tea, I am not hungry when I wake up. When I was taking my drops closer together I would be hungry when I woke up. So try adjusting your drop schedule to see if that works for you.

jabbokI am gonna play around w/it...My hunger time is at night.
I am not hungry in the mornings and can go till twelve or one for lunch just fine...Then when four comes around I am ready to eat...And end up going to bed w/hunger pings.....But I dont wake up hungry.
I think eating a little later and spreading the drops out like you said is a great idea. I might even try to eat dinner a little later than five and see how that goes to.

-0.6 loss yesterday (I didn't report in yesterday) and I finally did drop -1.0 lb last night. I'm within 0.8 of my LDW of last round finally. I'm still down 12 lbs (post load) and 10.4 ls pre load, so I feel pretty good on VLCD 11. I usually slow to an average of -0.5 lbs by the end of my round.

HOLY CANOLI!!!!! Look at all of these great losses I love logging on and seeing how much each one of you has lost overnight

I am down -1.2# That's -5.4# after 3 vlcd's. I'll take it and run!!!!

I am making lunch right now and it's a little "off" protocol but I'll let you know if it affects me at all.

100 gm lean ground beef
1 whole green pepper gutted
crushed garlic melba
diced tomatoes

I am making a stuffed green pepper and it smells DELISH!!! Praying it doesn't stall me and I will make sure to drink extra water. The only thing off protocol is the green pepper. I was craving it so bad!!! Only the scale will tell the tale tomorrow

I posted a comment on your menu in the menu thread we have going. First off, I saw that you skipped a fruit. Getting too little calories on this plan could be as bad as getting too few. Second, I also saw that you ate cauliflower. That is not on the original list of approved veggies for P2. Maybe you can find something else you like that IS on the list??

Good luck with the green pepper Gracie. I am going to keep an eye out to see if it works. When I ate green beans on my first round I lost with them!! So I think you will do great! I don't like green peppers so I will not be trying them on my P2. But I hope it gives you more options. And best of all, remember what Biz says about the first week of P2........you cannot go wrong!!

Thanks Dawn - it was DELICIOUS!!! I'm going to have to look up how many calories are in a green pepper to adjust the rest of my day. Okay, you're going to have to tell me what Biz says about the first week of P2 I don't remember!!!

jo

This is quite a journey we are on!! You have to find out what works for your body. It is all a balancing act and we have some investigative work to do on our own bodies. Some of us will be sensitive to the Grissini therefore skipping it. That is fine!! Some won't be able to eat cabbage or shrimp because they gain on it. I skip the celery because I just don't like it. It is all a big mystery when we begin and when we find out the food combos that work best for us---victory!!! I still have not even tried an orange because I have heard it stalls people out and it is not my favorite fruit by far. But we have them in the house always. LOL. My family loves them!! I have done well sticking with my other choices. Some will find they lose best while sicking to low calories and some find the closer they get to 500 the better. It is not a one size fits all diet--even though it seems as if it is!!! Sometimes I have to remind myself of that too when I try and figure out why some are skipping some of the foods!!

I dropped the cauliflower and started with the cabbage again.

I just haven't been hungry enough to eat both apples but I want to stay on protocol so I will change when I eat them.

Thanks for the boot back in the right direction, I am going to stick to what I can have.

Ya know, I have never had 2 of the same anything on the same day. With the exception of the P2 chili AND the apple days. I wonder how it would work for me having 2 of the same fruits or even 2 of the same veggies. I have always heard it is best to switch up your foods every single meal (you know if you have a cucumber for lunch then you should have spinach for dinner--that sort of thing) and not eat the same thing every day. But then again I hear some eat the same stuff day in and day out and do well!! I guess both work out.

Yesterday's weight: 161.6
Today's weight: 161
# below VLCD #1: -14.8 lbs
# gain/loss from yesterday: -.6 lbs

Another loss. Really weird. I ate so much more food yesterday. Finally remembered to have breakfast! Still haven't gotten the new drops in and haven't decided whether or not I'm going to call this an interruption or P3. I am really enjoying the food, not trying to lose weight now but I am anyway. Go figure... Couldn't lose a lb to save my life eating P2. Now it's falling off in P3. I don't know what to do.

Yesterday's menu:
Breakfast: coffee, 2 eggs scrambled with onions, peppers, and mushrooms
Lunch: 2 small hamburger patties with pepper jack cheese
Snack: handful mixed nuts, plum
Dinner: Grilled pork steak and cauliflower with cream cheese and chives
Dessert: yocheese with sliced strawberries and slivered almonds

Biz says....you cannot do too much wrong in P2 on your first week!! That is when you will see your biggest losses.

I am hoping to be done on Mon with my P2, but 116 has been my set point in the last 3 rounds I have done. I have had to do an apple day to get past it every single round I do. If that happens this time around then I may extend it by a few days. But next week sometime I will be in P3.

You are proving the fact that too little calories are as detrimental as too much!! Going higher fat will release those pesky pounds. That is why some actually lose while loading--their body was crying out for fat!! Just roll with it and enjoy!!

I know that I take 8 potassium pills throughout the day AND then have a TBL of apple cider vinegar at night for the potassium---just so I don't cramp up at night. I sure hope you feel better in the morning.
Dawn.. thank you so much for the response and hugs!!!! I was feeling SO sick!!!! And btw, congrats on seeing 116

Soooo. lesson learned... the drops I got were not good!!!!! I don't know why... maybe bogus to begin w/, went bad enroute .. I don't know ... they were not good!!!!! I was eating 500 calories w/no hcg help ... AND I was feeling it!

How I figured it out ... yesterday I took my rx (I have enough left for approx a week but opted to try hhcg after a strict P3 9 day interuption because I wanted to extend my round) and poof no hunger, energy back etc etc. No loss today but I'm hoping the rx hcg needs to get to a theraputic level?!? Again today, I'm feeling totally fine!!!

Won't be doing that again!!! It's nice to be back , now that I have enough energy to type on a keyboard (okay, that is exaggerating .. just a little!).

Now, to catch up w/all of you!

Glad you figured out the problem! That would be horrible to be so hungry. Hope you have a great round!!!

I have always heard it is best to switch up your foods every single meal (you know if you have a cucumber for lunch then you should have spinach for dinner--that sort of thing) and not eat the same thing every day. But then again I hear some eat the same stuff day in and day out and do well!! I guess both work out.
I eat chicken as my only protein. Can't wait for some BEEF.

I just can't to decide if I want to eat bread/potatoes or just stay LC while loading?
Should probably do higher fat but have fun!!! My favorite was a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup sundae ... I had been eye'n that for years (literally) and would have NEVER eaten such a thing in "real life"

YAY!! There is hope!! You're making me want to go back to P2. Congrats! I'll be watching your progress.
